Intro

The Wrap: Republished was created as a side project by me, I enjoyed reading the original Wraps, but they were cancelled about 10 months ago. Because of this, I decided to spend some of my free time making this issue. Feedback is always appreciated! -Dipstick

A Rather Fluffy Interview

Why did you originally decide to join the staff team?

When I was just a casual player, I got grabbed by 049 and turned into a zombie, and subsequently ended up locked in the nuke shelter. Being as stubborn as I am, refused to reset. So I sat there for a solid five minutes, slowlyyyy dying, but hellbent on attacking someone. Fishy, who was staff at the time, DM'd me to check if I was AFK. My immediate response caught her off-guard, we both found it funny and we ended up becoming friends. From that day on, I decided that if I ever ended up as staff, I wanted to be like her, someone that people in the community look up to. I really hope I've been successful with that. I love you Fishy, and congrats :)

What is your favorite part of being a moderator?

I just love all the goofy, silly moments. Whether it's with other staff, higher-ups, or the community, there's just simply no shortage of goofy moments at any given time. It always makes it worth it.

Do you ever plan on joining another department?

I've been eying up PA. I've always really liked the idea of hosting a gamenight on a game I enjoy with the community. I would also love to set up a gamenight with my good friend Goober.

If you had the ability to do one thing to the game, what would you do?

Delete it!!! I'd absolutely expand the 093 dimensions. It's by far my favorite SCP. I love everything about it, especially the immersive ambience/music. It really makes you forget that you're playing SSRP, that's the way I like to describe it. I have so many ideas that would be really cool and awesome. In my head, at least. I'm hopeful for a future expansion for it again some day.

Do you have any future plans outside of SSRP?

I don't want to share too much, but I'm starting college later this year, so hopefully I do!

Pumps Redesign Event

Because of the coming revamp of the coolant system in the Customization Update, the Public Affairs department recently held a contest to redesign the coolant pumps system. However, unlike most events, this event had only 1 winner, picked by our COO Melstead. Some aspects of the winners submission will be used in the next update, so keep an eye out for that! Everyone had amazing submissions, but there can only be one winner.

Pumps Redesign Event

Community News

Game nights are hosted regularly by PA members, and are a fun way to meet new people and engage with the community and staff team! There are a large variety of games played, so there's fun for everyone. Game Nights are open to all, make sure to come join next time one is hosted!

Giveaways are a great way to show generosity to the community, and are a selfless gesture. The Public Affairs department has hosted many giveaways on the behalf of community members. If you would like to host one, DM a PA member!

Messages From Across The Wall

Despite being a large part of the SSRP playerbase, Chinese players have limited communication with the rest of the SSRP community. However, some chinese players were asked about the recent bridge between the main discord community and the Chinese QQ community using a bot.

chinese players have a big barrier of making tickets about againsting rule and bug because they can't access discord. Our duty is helping players solve these problems. I'm glad to be a delegate of the chinese player. I believe the chinese community will be improved in future.

i believe we can improve current chinese community. I'm thankful can have a communication between discord and QQ for letting chinese player receive information of SSRP. hope i can reduce argument between chinese community and foregin during serving chinese community.

We are committed to maintaining the gaming environment of the Chinese player community. Our main goal is to provide a platform between chinese player and staff. The chinese community will become a bridge for Chinese players and discord players.

Jimmy has been a massive part of the SSRP community, and has served the staff team amazingly. Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and Jimmy has stepped down from his role on the staff team of almost 2 years, receiving the Ohman role. We all hope Jimmy does amazing in his future endeavors, and he will always be remembered in SSRP as one of the greatest community members.

Jimmy is an important part of the community, and was one of the many amazing staff members I met when I became active in the server. He left a lasting impact on me and my goals in the server and staff team.
