LONDON THE INFINITE METROPOLIS
London is not a place to visit, it is a place to experience. From the technological buzz of Shoreditch to the marble columns of the City, the British capital remains the global epicentre where finance, culture and lifestyle converge. London is much more than a business destination; it is a sophisticated playground where each neighbourhood has its own unique character.
The city has achieved the feat of reinventing itself without ever denying its past. You can encounter the architectural avant-garde of the City while enjoying tea in the hushed elegance of Mayfair. It is this duality that attracts opinion leaders and creators from around the world. Between the galleries of South Kensington, the bespoke boutiques of Savile Row and the Michelin-starred restaurants of Soho, the metropolis offers a density of exclusive services unrivalled in Europe.
Yet today, true London luxury lies in accessibility. In a city where the pace never slows down, knowing how to enter and leave the metropolis with ease has become the ultimate privilege. This is where the choice of infrastructure comes into its own: to fully enjoy London’s energy without suffering the logistical constraints, you need to know how to get off the beaten track. This is precisely where platforms such as Fairoaks come into play, transforming the journey to this bustling capital into a serene and perfectly orchestrated transition.
FAIROAKS AIRPORT THE SECRET ADDRESS OF INSIDERS
Fairoaks Airport (EGTF), with its 813-metre tarmac runway, is a strategic destination, offering a peaceful and ultra-efficient alternative to the congested hubs of the British capital. Located in Surrey, between Chobham and Ottershaw, this historic site combines the spirit of classic aviation with the demands of modern mobility.
The history of Fairoaks is inextricably linked to England’s aeronautical heritage. Opened in 1931 as a simple private runway, the aerodrome took on national significance in 1937 under the auspices of the Ministry of Air. During the Second World War, it became the training ground for more than 6,000 pilots trained on Tiger Moths. Today, this heritage can still be felt in its iconic control tower and period hangars, offering travellers an authentic experience, far from the anonymity of modern glass terminals.
Fairoaks’ major asset is its prime location. Nestled less than 5 kilometres from junction 11 of the M25, the airport is just an hour’s drive from central London, while offering immediate proximity to
the business centres of Woking and the exclusive residences of Surrey. For those seeking absolute speed, Fairoaks is also a platform of choice for helicopter transfers, placing the heliports of central London just a few minutes’ flight away.
The absence of strict commercial slots guarantees total flexibility: here, there is no waiting time for taxiing. Cars can be driven right up to the aircraft, ensuring absolute discretion and unrivalled time savings. Between flights, the famous Hangar Café and VIP lounges allow you to enjoy the club atmosphere that is part of the charm of business aviation on a human scale.
MCLAREN TECHNOLOGY CENTRE
THE ART
OF
EXPERIENCING PERFORMANCE BETWEEN HEAVEN AND
EARTH
Located on the outskirts of Woking, in Surrey, the McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) stands as a futuristic enclave just a stone’s throw from Fairoaks Airport. Whilst the centre is officially the headquarters of a Formula 1 team, it is in reality more akin to a contemporary art centre. Behind its glass curves, designed by Foster + Partners, lies a way of life governed by a quest for serenity, purity and absolute excellence, where the discreet passage of private jets nearby serves as a reminder of the venue’s exclusivity.
A ZEN AND FUTURISTIC ATMOSPHERE
The sensory experience inside the building is unique and radically transforms the concept of a workspace. As soon as you step through the entrance, the hustle and bustle of the outside world fades away, giving way to a cathedral-like calm that fosters total concentration. Environmental control is taken to the extreme here, as the atmospheric pressure in the restaurant is maintained at a specific level to trap cooking odours and ensure that the air in the rest of the complex remains perfectly neutral. This visual purity is enhanced by the famous Boulevard, a glass gallery bathed in natural light where employees stroll daily amongst historic cars, creating an organic link between the brand’s heritage and the innovations of tomorrow.
WELLBEING IN THE SERVICE OF PERFORMANCE
For McLaren, every employee is regarded as a top-level athlete, and the lifestyle within the centre reflects this elite philosophy. The complex features a state-of-theart fitness and wellbeing centre where yoga and mindfulness sessions help balance creative intensity. This approach extends to the dining experience, with a panoramic restaurant overlooking the lake offering cuisine specifically designed to boost energy and mental clarity. Even the smallest details, such as the bespoke design of the lifts to prevent any visible grease marks, contribute to this sense of clinical luxury and total control over the space.
THE PRIVATE EXPERIENCE
For the select few privileged enough to acquire a McLaren, the site becomes the setting for a spectacular handover ceremony. Welcomed into a private VIP suite, clients experience a timeless moment where their new car is unveiled in a halo of light, immediately following a reception overlooking the artificial lake. This immersion continues with an exclusive tour of the workshops, allowing guests to witness the transformation of carbon fibre into a mechanical work of art. It is here that the McLaren lifestyle comes into its own: a blend of high technology, absolute discretion and pure emotion.
A DESIGN IN HARMONY WITH LIFE
The building is not merely an inert structure; it breathes in harmony with its ecosystem. Its slender steel columns evoke the suspension of a single-seater, whilst its façade blends so seamlessly into the Surrey landscape that it appears to emerge from the ground. The lake, the centrepiece of the cooling system, has become a haven for rare biodiversity, hosting numerous species of dragonflies and proving that cutting-edge engineering can coexist with nature. By refusing to compromise on anything, from the perfect symmetry of the floor slabs to the orientation of the landscape views, McLaren has created far more than a factory: it is a manifesto of the art of living in the extraordinary.

AURA AERO THE RISE OF A NEW HYBRID-ELECTRIC AVIATION GIANT
A pioneer in low-carbon aviation since its creation in 2018, the Toulouse-based company AURA AERO is now establishing itself as an undisputed leader in nextgeneration aviation.
Located at the historic ToulouseFrancazal site, this newcomer to the industry merges aeronautical expertise with digital agility to address the climate emergency. As a member of the Alliance for Zero Emission Aircraft (AZEA), the company is committed to an ambitious mission: contributing to a 55% reduction in emissions by 2035 and reaching net-zero carbon by 2050.
This ambition is brought to life by ERA (Electric Regional Aircraft), a 19-seat aircraft designed to transform regional air travel while protecting the environment. A true concentrate of innovation, ERA relies on a unique hybrid-electric propulsion system, where eight electric motors are powered by two turbo-generators compatible with Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) and four high-performance batteries. This architecture enables up to an 80% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to traditional thermal aircraft in its class, while ensuring significantly quieter operations.
Beyond its environmental credentials, ERA stands out for its remarkable versatility and operational efficiency. Able to operate from short runways of only 800 meters (including unprepared fields), it can transport passengers in a spacious, stand-up-height cabin, offer premium comfort in its “Exclusive” VIP version, or carry up to 1.9 tonnes of freight in its Cargo configuration. Its cutting-edge technology—including latest-generation fly-by-wire flight controls and an intelligent energy management system—ensures a maximum cruise speed of 300 knots and a range of up to 900 nautical miles (1,600 km) in hybrid mode.
Success is already on the horizon for this French industrial flagship. With almost 700 letters of intent for ERA around the world, AURA AERO is preparing to scale up. Alongside the development of its INTEGRAL flight training and aerobatics family, the company plans to open its “AURA Factory,” a 50,000 m² site in Toulouse and has launched its presence in the U.S. with the opening last October, of a 1,000 m² production facility in Florida, where a second U.S. facility (50,000 m²) should open by 2028.
These large-scale projects confirm that the rise of this new giant is no longer just a promise, but a reality ready to sustainably reshape the skies of tomorrow.
SYNHELION WHERE SOLAR ENERGY MEETS SUSTAINABLE AVIATION
As aviation accelerates its search for credible decarbonization pathways, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) has emerged as a central pillar of the industry’s climate strategy. Among the innovators shaping this transition, Synhelion stands out as a pioneer in producing renewable fuels powered directly by the sun.
Synhelion is a Swiss cleantech company that evolved from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). The idea behind the company began as early as 2010 with laboratory demonstrations of solar-driven syngas production. Building on this early research, Synhelion was formally founded in 2016 as a spin-off from ETH Zurich to bring its “Sun-to-Liquid” solar fuel technology to market and contribute to the defossilization of transportation. Rather than modifying aircraft or flight operations, the company focuses on a more direct lever: replacing fossil kerosene with solar synthetic fuel that works seamlessly within today’s aviation ecosystem.
SUN-TO-LIQUID TECHNOLOGY
Synhelion’s approach is based on its proprietary Sun-to-Liquid process. Synhelion uses solar energy to drive a thermochemical reaction that converts certified biomethane, CO₂, and water into synthesis gas (syngas) – a mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide. The syngas is then upgraded through established industrial processes into liquid hydrocarbons — including synthetic kerosene fully compliant with aviation standards. Chemically, the fuel is almost identical to conventional jet fuel, but with a fundamentally different carbon footprint. Instead of extracting new fossil carbon from the
ground, Synhelion’s fuel recycles CO₂ already present in the atmosphere, creating a near-closed carbon cycle when the fuel is burned.
FROM DEMONSTRATION TO INDUSTRIAL SCALE
What began as a “crazy idea” on paper and in the lab at ETH Zurich has now reached industrial reality. In June 2024, Synhelion inaugurated DAWN, the world’s first industrial demonstration plant for solar fuel production, located in Jülich, Germany. DAWN integrates all aspects of the Sun-to-Liquid technology and produces several thousand liters of solar fuel per year for demonstration and validation purposes, proving the technology is operational beyond laboratory conditions. Synhelion’s journey to this milestone includes a series of key developments: from early research agreements and collaborations with partners such as Eni and Cemex, through multiple funding rounds and pilot demonstrations, to the establishment of international partnerships with industry leaders.
The next step is Synhelion’s first commercial-scale production facility, currently under development in Germany. Scheduled to begin operations in 2027, the facility will have an annual production capacity of 1,000 tons of solar fuel, marking a decisive move toward industrialization.
A TRUE DROP-IN FUEL
One of Synhelion’s key advantages lies in full drop-in compatibility. Solar kerosene can be blended with conventional jet fuel, transported through existing infrastructure, and used in current aircraft engines — without modifications. This makes it particularly attractive for business aviation and long-haul operations, where energy density remains a critical constraint. While electric and hydrogen solutions continue to develop, synthetic liquid fuels remain the only scalable option capable of delivering deep emission reductions without disrupting global aviation operations.
PILATUS: A STRATEGIC SIGNAL FOR BUSINESS AVIATION
In September 2024, Pilatus Aircraft Ltd confirmed Synhelion’s growing relevance by signing a five-year offtake agreement for 200 tons of solar kerosene per year starting in 2027 — a decisive step toward real-world aviation use. By also becoming a shareholder in Synhelion, Pilatus joined a strong ecosystem of partners including the Lufthansa Group, Swiss International Air Lines, and Zurich Airport, signaling that solar fuel is moving beyond the laboratory into operational reality. Initially, the fuel will power test and demonstration flights with the PC-12 and PC-24, sending a clear message to the industry: solar fuels are emerging as a credible, near-term solution for business aviation.
DECARBONIZATION WITHOUT COMPROMISE
When produced using renewable solar energy and recycled CO₂, Synhelion’s solar fuel can reduce lifecycle CO₂ emissions by up to 100 % compared to fossil kerosene. Crucially, the process avoids many of the drawbacks associated with first-generation biofuels. No agricultural land is required, there is no competition with food production, and water use can be managed efficiently — particularly in sun-rich regions where future plants are likely to be deployed. For an industry often criticized for its environmental impact, solar fuels offer a rare combination of scalability, sustainability, and operational realism.
As aircraft continue to connect the world, Synhelion’s vision suggests that one day they may do so powered, quite literally, by the sun.

MURTOLI A SENSORY AWAKENING IN CORSICAN LANDS
In the far south of the Isle of Beauty, the Domaine de Murtoli is not a hotel in the conventional sense of the word, but a total sensory experience, an immersion in an eternal Corsica that was thought to have disappeared. Here, the Ortolo Valley stretches majestically between granite peaks and the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean, offering a sanctuary of solitude and absolute refinement for travellers in search of truth.
The history of this place is inseparable from that of Paul Canarelli, a local man driven by a passionate vision, who set out to breathe new life into the lands of his ancestors by restoring 17th-century sheepfolds with the precision of a master craftsman. This titanic project has transformed dry stone ruins into luxury retreats, without ever betraying the pastoral soul of the valley. Each residence, scattered with rare discretion throughout the scrubland, tells a different story. Some overlook wild coves, offering a permanent spectacle of foam, while others are nestled in greenery, surrounded by aromatic gardens and swimming pools carved directly into the rock to blend into the landscape.
Life at Murtoli is organised around a philosophy of self-sufficiency and celebration of the terroir. The estate remains above all an active farm where thousands of olive trees and a generous vegetable garden are cultivated. This wealth nourishes a table that varies according to desires and seasons. You can choose to dine at the Farm, in a rustic and warm atmosphere near a monumental fireplace, or prefer the lightness of a lunch at the Beach, sheltered by thousand-year-old junipers. For the most memorable evenings, the Grotto offers a spectacular setting where polyphonic songs echo off the natural walls, accompanying traditional Corsican cuisine in an almost mystical atmosphere.
The estate is a huge playground where time seems to stand still. Golf enthusiasts will discover an unusual course, designed by Kyle Phillips, which follows the natural curves of the terrain without distorting them. Wellness enthusiasts flock to the Nucca Spa, a haven of tranquillity where treatments are carried out using 100% natural Corsican essential oils. Whether you choose a sea fishing trip, a horse ride at sunrise or a simple siesta in the shade of the cork oaks, every moment is an invitation to disconnect.
To complete this exceptional offering, on 28 June 2025 the estate inaugurated A Mandria di Murtoli, a new 5-star hamlet that reinterprets the Corsican art of living with sunny modernity. Nestled on a former pastoral site, this intimate retreat offers a mansion and charming accommodation — converted former stables or barns — with private swimming pools and gardens suspended above the valley. With its communal swimming pool reminiscent of the wash houses of yesteryear, its Italianinspired restaurant L’appuntamento and its commitment to environmental responsibility, A Mandria offers a new dimension of luxury: that of absolute serenity in total harmony with the wild spirit of Ortolo.
PROPRIANO TAVARIA THE SOUTHERN GATEWAY TO THE ISLE OF BEAUTY
Between turquoise seas and granite mountains, Propriano Tavaria aerodrome is a stopover with character. Located at the entrance to the Gulf of Valinco, this airfield offers much more than just a runway: it provides a spectacular arrival close to the island’s jewels.
The history of Tavaria is inseparable from the growth of tourism and accessibility in the Alta Rocca region. Historically rooted in the local landscape, the aerodrome has managed to preserve a human and authentic dimension, far from the hustle and bustle of the island’s major international airports. It is here that light and business aviation regains its prestige, in a setting where each approach offers an unforgettable panorama of Corsica’s rugged coastline.
Propriano’s location is its trump card. Halfway between Ajaccio and Figari, the aerodrome provides direct access to the most exclusive areas of the south of the island. For travellers, landing at Tavaria
means being able to reach the beaches of Murtoli or the region’s marinas in record time. Its close proximity to the town centre of Propriano and its luxury hotel facilities makes it a preferred option for those seeking to make the most of their stay without sacrificing the beauty of the landscape.
The airport’s strategy for private aviation is based on flexibility and proximity. The welcome is personalised, typical of Corsican hospitality, guaranteeing total discretion for VIPs and decision-makers. Choosing Propriano Tavaria means opting for a tailor-made experience where the flight is already an integral part of the holiday, transforming a simple technical stopover into an exceptional moment.

ACTUAL ULTIM 4 EXCELLENCE AT THE CREST OF THE WAVES
Combining cutting-edge technology with a touch of soul, Team Actual is opening a new chapter in its history with the acquisition of the Actual Ultim 4. More than just a sporting challenge, it is a quest for the ultimate, driven by a talented skipper, Anthony Marchand, and a corporate vision where work becomes an opportunity.
In the highly exclusive world of ocean racing, there is an aristocracy: that of the ‘Ultims’. These giants of the seas, capable of covering phenomenal distances in record time, are constantly pushing the boundaries of physics. Today, it is the Actual Ultim 4, the iconic former Gitana 17, which takes up the torch under the colours of the Actual group. This multihull, the most successful in the history of modern sailing, is not merely a high-performance yacht. It is a laboratory of the extreme and a carbon masterpiece that has become a true icon of nautical design.
AN OPEN-AIR DESIGN STUDIO
Moving to the Ultim 4 means entering a new technical and strategic dimension. For Team Actual, this acquisition marks a fierce determination to achieve excellence. The boat is a marvel of complexity where every detail counts. Thanks to its foils—those streamlined underwater wings—this 32-metre-long behemoth literally rises above the water to eliminate drag. To stabilise this flight at speeds exceeding 90 km/h, cutting-edge technology is deployed: 350 metres of fibre optics and strain sensors monitor the structure in real time. Every part, from the 34-metre mast to the finest appendages, is the result of thousands of hours of engineering, where a single millimetre makes the difference between victory and disaster.
ANTHONY MARCHAND: INSTINCT AND PERSEVERANCE
While the machine is exceptional, it is the man who gives it direction and strength. At 40, Breton Anthony Marchand embodies an atypical success story in this world. A self-taught sailor, he has climbed every rung of the ladder through sheer determination alone, progressing from small monohulls to the pinnacle of the Ultim class. His preparation now resembles that of a top-level racing driver. In his living quarters of just 6 square metres, he must manage navigation, energy and his own survival with extreme clarity. The physical challenge is colossal, as the skipper burns around 4,500 calories a day – the equivalent of eight standard meals – whilst allowing himself only six hours of fragmented sleep per 24-hour cycle.
TEAM SYNERGY TO CONQUER THE ATLANTIC
In 2025 season, Anthony Marchand was supported by Julien Villion for the legendary Transat Café L’Or. This duo forms a complementary partnership where Julien’s strategic vision and meteorological expertise combine with Anthony’s innate seafaring instinct. Together, they coordinated manoeuvres of rare physical intensity, such as the 2,700 turns of the winch handle required to hoist a downwind sail. This collaboration perfectly illustrates the strength of the collective in the face of the ocean’s immensity, transforming an individual challenge into a success shared by an entire technical team of enthusiasts.
A UNIQUE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE: ‘ULTIM, BEYOND THE LIMITS’
To share this extraordinary adventure with the general public, Actual group and Mediawan are launching a major documentary series entitled ‘Ultim, Beyond the Limits’. This immersive series, comprising six 40-minute episodes, takes viewers behind the scenes of the project’s technological and human aspects over the course of a whole year. Filmed with a handheld camera to ensure total authenticity without staging or commentary, the series captures the raw emotions of Anthony Marchand and his team during major competitions such as the Fastnet Race and the Transat Café l’Or. Coming soon to Prime Video, NOVO and YouTube, this unique series reveals the behind-the-scenes work essential to highseas performance.
A PHILOSOPHY BEYOND THE WATER
For Samuel Tual, President of the group, this project extends far beyond the starting pontoons. The group’s slogan, “Turning work into an opportunity”, resonates particularly strongly with this maritime adventure. Just as a skipper must adapt to shifting winds and the sea’s unpredictability, every member of the group is encouraged to view challenges as opportunities for growth. Team gis not merely a prestigious sponsor; it is a collective endeavour bringing together 4,100 employees and thousands of partners around strong values: respect for the environment, solidarity in the face of the elements, and the boldness of innovation.
THE FIGURES OF A TITAN OF THE SEAS
To fully grasp the scale of this project, one must consider the extraordinary dimensions of the gUltim 4. At 32 metres long and 23 metres wide, the boat occupies a floor area comparable to a basketball court. Beneath its sails, which can reach 1,122 square metres downwind—equivalent to the area of four tennis courts—the 16-tonne giant transforms into a feather capable of approaching 50 knots. This exceptional propulsion power fuels a clear ambition for the coming seasons. Following a remarkable podium finish in the Rolex Fastnet Race, the crew is gearing up for the biggest events in offshore racing. The highlight of this programme will be the start of the legendary Route du Rhum next October, when Anthony Marchand will set sail solo from Saint-Malo. This ultimate challenge aims to demonstrate that, with passion and a shared vision, excellence is within reach.
MOMENTS OF THE WILD FROM ZAMBIA TO KENYA
Griet Van Malderen is a Belgian wildlife photographer driven by a deep connection to nature. Her work focuses on capturing authentic, often intimate moments that reflect the delicate balance of the wild. Through her photography, she seeks not only to show beauty, but to inspire respect and protection for wildlife.
Zambia is where I slowed down. Where I stopped chasing images and started observing life. Here, lions are not just symbols of strength. They are fragile, complex, constantly adapting.
A CUB LEARNING ITS FIRST STEPS
From Zambia to Kenya, my work follows the same thread: a search for balance between abstraction and reality.
Seen from above, flamingos become patterns, almost unreal. But on the ground, life remains raw, unpredictable. Two perspectives, one same story, the fragile harmony of the wild.
A male carrying the weight of dominance. A fleeting moment of mating, essential, yet vulnerable. Everything happens quickly. And yet, it takes time to truly see. Through these moments, I try to capture more than beauty. I try to show the rhythm of a pride connection, tension, survival.

LONGINES HYDROCONQUEST THE EVOLUTION OF A MODERN ICON
Blending nearly two centuries of Swiss watchmaking heritage with contemporary performance, Longines unveils a comprehensively redesigned HydroConquest collection. This 2026 generation sets a new standard for the «everyday» luxury sports watch, offering a seamless transition from maritime adventure to formal occasions through its refined proportions and versatile design.
Since its debut in 2007, the HydroConquest has been a cornerstone of Longines’ sporty elegance. For 2026, the brand has reimagined this diver-inspired line to meet the demands of the modern explorer.
REFINED AESTHETICS AND VERSATILE PROPORTIONS
The new collection is centered around two versatile sizes: 39-mm and 42-mm stainless steel cases. The redesigned dials feature applied indices treated with Super-LumiNova® for optimal legibility. Enthusiasts can choose from four dial finishes, including polished lacquered versions in blue, black, or green, and a new frosted-blue sunray variant that creates a unique play of light. These are paired with five ceramic bezel options, including classic black, blue, and slate grey, alongside two vibrant new shades: verdant green and luminous blue. Notably, the unidirectional rotating bezel system now borrows technology from the Ultra-Chron Diver for an enhanced tactile feel.
THE L888.5 CALIBRE
Beneath the surface, the 2026 HydroConquest is powered by the Longines exclusive calibre L888.5. This self-winding movement is equipped with a silicon balance-spring, making it up to ten times more resistant to magnetic fields than the ISO 764 standard. With a robust 72-hour power reserve and water
resistance up to 30 bar (300 meters), it remains a true performance instrument designed for longevity.
INNOVATION IN COMFORT
For the first time in the collection’s history, Longines introduces Milanese mesh bracelets. Crafted from high-quality stainless steel with a brushed finish, these bracelets offer exceptional breathability and a sophisticated “explorer” look. For those preferring the classic aesthetic, the H-shaped link stainless steel bracelet is also available, featuring a double-folding safety clasp with a micro-adjustment system for a perfect fit.
HENRY CAVILL, THE FACE OF THE CAMPAIGN
The launch is supported by a cinematic campaign starring Longines Ambassador of Elegance, Henry Cavill. Filmed on the volcanic shores of Tenerife, the campaign captures Cavill navigating between land and sea, mirroring the watch’s own duality. “This watch brings with it a sense of lightness and dignity,” Cavill noted, “evocative of the classic elegance from Longines.” Longines has also announced two exclusive references (39-mm and 42-mm) featuring the frosted-blue dials paired with dark-blue ceramic bezels. These specific models will be available solely through Longines Corporate Boutiques and their official e-commerce platform, adding an extra layer of desirability for collectors.

CORDELIA DE CASTELLANE OR THE SUBTLE ART OF LOOKING EFFORTLESS
One need only strike up a conversation with Cordelia de Castellane to glimpse a vast, colourful inner world, much like a garden. As Artistic Director of Baby Dior and Dior Maison, and an interior designer, she cultivates a way of life in which curiosity and authenticity are the foundations of all creation. In this interview, this ‘space stylist’ looks back for us on her childhood, filled with imagination, her apprenticeship years at Ungaro and her spiritual bond with Monsieur Dior. A journey without pretence or preconceptions.
Could you describe your earliest recollections of creativity?
Ever since I was very young, I’ve always known exactly what I wanted to do. As an only child, I lived in the bubble of my own imagination. I spent my time writing down ideas, creating pottery with my grandmother or drawing little characters wearing fancy clothes. Fascinated by fashion, fabrics and dresses, I made clothes for my Barbie dolls and decorated their dollhouses by sticking scraps of my mother’s fabric onto the walls. Creativity has been a constant in my life. My mother is a very artistic person; she paints and draws a lot. My grandmother did the same, as well as making pottery. Growing up surrounded by creative people inevitably broadens your horizons and influenced my own path.
At 16, you started an internship at Emmanuel Ungaro. What lessons did you learn from that wonderful experience?
That was the most important stage of my career. I had initially planned to spend only a month as an intern, but I ended up staying for a decade. During my tenure, I wore many hats, serving as a true ‘Swiss Army knife’: I collected pins, ironed dresses, stuck stamps on invitations, even assisting with haute couture… I loved that versatility. In Ungaro’s ateliers, the word ‘luxury’ was never uttered, as it was everywhere: in the swish of a dress, the tap of the seamstresses’ footsteps on the carpet of Avenue Montaigne, and the silence of the workshops where each button was sewn to the rhythm of Monsieur Ungaro’s classical music. I discovered there that a designer does not merely sketch; they tap into a vast cultural heritage and an entire universe to convey the narrative they want to tell. This world permeates every aspect of his
daily life, from the way they decorate their dining table to the way they listen to music. Design is not just a profession, but ’an art de vivre ».
How did you come to embrace this way of living? How do you put it into practice in your daily life?
I think that by spending time with creative people like Mr. Ungaro and by growing up with my mother and grandmother, you inevitably end up developing a strong and very complete worldview. My way of seeing things and my artistic creativity aren’t just a job; they are my whole life, whether I’m at home or in my garden. But the most valuable lesson I learned during my time at Ungaro is to remain curious, to seek knowledge and to cultivate an interest in everything. Only then can one effectively convey a story. All of M.Ungaro learnt, all that he saw, shaped his perspective and ignited his imagination. This is an essential lesson I have taken from him. For my part, I know that every book I have ever read in my life informs my creative work on a daily basis.
Currently, you are the artistic director at Baby Dior and Dior Maison. How do you manage to infuse your own identity while remaining true to the brand’s heritage? What creative freedom do you have?
In truth, I have all the freedom in the world; that’s not really the issue. However, when you belong to a Maison with such a storied past, it is your responsibility to live up to its legacy and to honour its essence. My focus is not on sharing my own story, but rather on conveying the Maison’s story, whilst bringing my own vision to it.
Monsieur Dior infused his brand with extraordinary strength, and his presence still permeates the walls of the workshop, Avenue Montaigne. No one could overcross his legacy – no one would dare. Spiritually, I feel quite close to Monsieur Dior. He and I have many things in common, and an almost natural dialogue has developed between us: we are both Aquarians; we are both very superstitious, and we both share a passion for gardens, flowers and prints. This is probably why I feel at ease at Dior’s, and why I put my imagination at the service of this House and its historic codes.
You played a part in the transformation of the Abbaye des Vaux-deCernay. Tell us about this project – what were the biggest challenges you had to overcome?
The challenge was to transform this 12,000 m² historic monument while preserving the identity of the place. Originally, the Abbey had an austere, stark quality that lent it a mystical, almost magical aura. I had to bring comfort and warmth without corrupting its essence. I wanted the abbey to stand on its own, unmarred by the passage of time or my intervention as a designer. I love this role, which requires me to be transparent and let the walls speak with their own voices.
The history of the Abbey spanned centuries, and consequently required a significant amount of archival work. Since the property was owned by the Rothschilds, I was able to access their furniture collection. The family had exquisite taste, as befitted their era. As the Rothschilds’ marriage – Madame was French and Monsieur was British – , I wanted the Abbey to embody this blend of cultures: French rigour and symmetry, and the typical English whimsy, that faux-dishevelled chic. I therefore wanted to play with these two very distinct decorative inspirations without ever betraying the soul of the place. What matters to me above all is authenticity. I dream of extremely natural settings in which everything appears to have happened by chance, and where nothing seems forced. The space’s composition and harmony are the result of deliberate efforts; it must not seem as though achieving such a result requires thought and hard work.
To date, which projects have you considered the most significant of your career?
The Abbaye des Vaux-de-Cernay is undoubtedly number one for challenges. Twelve thousand square metres, four years of work, three floods, countless trips back and forth in the freezing cold… This project really tested me.
On a completely different note, some collections for Dior Maison left a deep impression on me, such as the Muguet line, with its white and green porcelain plates inspired by the Toile de Jouy pattern. The launch of this collection was a truly exhilarating experience, a high point, during a pandemic when the world seemed to be in a state of hibernation. I cherish my involvement in this project and hold dear memories of it. Of course, I must also mention the stunning Dior events that I had the pleasure of organising. Despite their brief duration, these events require a significant amount of preparation. They are the setting for unforgettable stories, such as finding ourselves on Venice’s quays on the morning of the event, receiving plates that have arrived by gondola! These are moments that seem to exist outside of time.
In your opinion, is there such a thing as an irredeemable aesthetic faux-pas?
No, I don’t think so. There are no rules; you just have to respect others’ tastes, which are entirely personal. I much prefer a lived-in, imperfect place to a sublime but impersonal one. The best advice I could give would be to make your home truly yours, incorporating memories from your travels, heirlooms, fragment of your culture and your roots… All these things tell a unique story – yours.
Earlier, you mentioned your love of nature and gardens. Which flower most embodies your essence?
I would be a dahlia, a powerful, resilient flower that comes in a thousand different colours. The more you cut it, the stronger it becomes, sprouting anew. I adore its ageless charm and the way it brightens a garden with a kaleidoscope of colours, from the first days of spring to the onset of winter, providing a warm and comforting heart.
What is your most defining characteristic?
Impatience.
What is your conception of happiness?
I try to make the most of it whenever I can, whatever the circumstances. I think absolute happiness is impossible. Every day brings small moments of happiness; you just need to know how to seize them and appreciate them.
What is your mantra?
‘Help yourself and heaven will help you.’
Tomorrow, if you had the chance to board a plane that would take you anywhere, where would you go?
I think I would go to Greece, to my mother’s homeland.
SPACE-TIME ARCHITECTS REDEFINING THE ART OF TRAVEL BETWEEN SKY AND SEA
In a world where luxury is too often measured by the gilding of fixtures, a new travel platform, Space-Time Architects (STA), offers a radically different approach. Forget standardized itineraries and beaten paths; here, vacations are not just planned—they are orchestrated transformations.
At the heart of the STA ecosystem lies a central figure: ‘the Architect’. Whether they are spiritual guides, Michelin-starred chefs or extreme explorers, these visionaries do not merely accompany; they co-create journeys that shift the contours of our daily lives. Just as an architect designs a building to influence the experience of those who inhabit it, the STA Architect shapes a timeline and a geography to deepen human connections. The journey then becomes a living entity — made of attention and presence — capable of leaving an indelible mark long after you return. Celtic trip.
For Space-Time Architects, the aircraft is not merely a means of transport; it is the primary tool for designing your experience. The choice of the Pilatus PC-12, the jewel of Swiss engineering, is emblematic in this regard. This versatile turboprop, capable of accommodating up to eight passengers in absolute comfort, offers a freedom that commercial aviation — even first class — can never match.
Thanks to its unique ability to land on short or unpaved runways, it becomes a key that unlocks hidden doors to the world. It allows for spectacular approaches, flying over unspoilt landscapes to set you down as close as possible to the unexpected. In the silence and privacy of its cabin, time stretches out, stress melts away and the sky becomes the majestic prologue to a story unfolding in complete serenity.
The quest for meaning continues on the water through an exclusive collaboration with Morii Yachting. Aboard the Imladris, a majestic Lagoon Eighty2 catamaran, travelers discover mobile sanctuaries designed for privacy and reflection. Whether exploring the pristine coasts of the Red Sea or the Balearic Islands, the transition between sky and sea is seamless, offering a continuity of luxury and discovery.

STA structures its experiences around major pillars that transform every stay into a unique narrative. Through the Family Heritage concept, the platform designs personal journeys to reconnect families with their roots and ancestral stories. For the professional world, Groups & Company pathways offer leadership retreats and cultural immersions designed to evolve corporate culture.
Finally, Architect-led Journeys provide thematic expeditions led by renowned experts in their fields. Every adventure is documented, sometimes in the form of a film, ensuring the emotional imprint of the journey becomes a lasting legacy: with Space-Time Architects, you don’t just travel through space; you inhabit time differently.

MONTREUX JAZZ FESTIVAL 2026 A 60TH EDITION BLENDING HERITAGE WITH DAZZLING MODERNITY
After two years of open-air events, the Montreux Jazz Festival returns to its historic home at the Congress Centre to celebrate its 60th anniversary. From 3 to 18 July, the Vaud Riviera will come alive with a bold line-up, bringing together timeless legends and pop culture icons.
THE RETURN OF INTIMATE ACOUSTICS
It is a particularly eagerly awaited return ‘home’ after two years of outdoor events. The Festival returns to the comfort and exceptional acoustics of its iconic indoor venues: the Stravinski Auditorium and the Montreux Jazz Lab. For this anniversary edition, the Congress Centre has been completely reimagined to offer a more seamless connection to the lake and the quays, thanks to new terraces and wider access points.
A COLOURFUL LINE-UP
Under the flamboyant visual identity designed by fashion designer Kévin Germanier, this 60th edition boasts a rare diversity. British star RAYE will open the festivities with an exclusive show co-created with Audemars Piguet in a brandnew stage design. The festival will also welcome pillars of its history such as Deep Purple, Sting and Van Morrison, who will share the closing night stage with James Taylor. More than half of the line-up consists of Swiss exclusives, notably including The Roots, Moby — performing in Montreux for the very first time — as well as John Legend and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
The Montreux Jazz Lab will be no exception, featuring hybrid projects blending music and contemporary dance, notably with Eddy de Pretto. For two magical nights, the venue will transform into a true jazz club to celebrate the centenary of Miles Davis with Marcus Miller, or the 60th anniversary of Charles Lloyd’s first appearance at the Festival. The new generation will also be proudly represented by artists such as Tyla, PinkPantheress and Conan Gray, proving that Montreux remains the barometer of global trends.
A LIFESTYLE BY THE WATER
Beyond the concerts, the Montreux experience extends to the lakeshore. The festival retains its extensive route along the quays, offering a multitude of dining options and free stages. Parc Vernex will be transformed into a veritable summer retreat with direct access to the lake for relaxation and entertainment.

A symbol of renewal and optimism, the butterfly spreads its diamond wings in Graff’s brand-new campaign.
Combining vibrant high jewellery with clean lines, this is an exploration of an icon that transcends time with absolute grace.
For over half a century, the butterfly has been more than just a motif at Graff; it is the beating heart of its history. An emblem of personal transformation and life’s pivotal moments, this ethereal creature is now reimagined through the lens of photographer Liz Collins. Worn by model Rosalieke Fuchs against a signature ‘Graff green’ backdrop, the new campaign stands as an ode to empowerment and personal evolution.
EXQUISITE CRAFTSMANSHIP
In the Maison’s London workshop, master craftsmen distil the ephemeral beauty of nature to create pieces of timeless elegance. As Anne-Eva Geffroy, Graff’s artistic director, points out, every curve and every proportion is studied with absolute precision to breathe movement into the material. The collection’s icon is a feat of geometry: the union of two pear-shaped stones and two marquises which, once set, capture the butterfly’s inimitable silhouette.
FROM CHROMATIC GRADIENTS TO THE PURITY OF THE DIAMOND
The new campaign unveils pieces of rare technical sophistication and chromatic richness. Among the standout creations, a mesmerising kaleidoscope weighing over 33 carats showcases blue sapphires blending into a gradient of tourmalines and diamonds. The House also explores a bolder aesthetic with a 41-carat set combining rubies and diamonds on white gold, where the fine pavé setting highlights the movement of the wings. Meanwhile, the Butterfly Silhouette line offers a more structured and graphic approach, playing on the rhythm of the compositions or the purity of a unique silhouette, sometimes embellished with delicate floral motifs.
THE LEGACY OF A FAMILY-RUN HOUSE
Founded in 1960 by Laurence Graff OBE, the House remains a family venture, now led by François Graff. From the discovery of historic diamonds — such as the legendary 302.37-carat Lesedi La Rona — to the artisanal craftsmanship in London, every piece of jewellery is overseen with uncompromising attention to detail. Whether to celebrate a love or to be passed down from generation to generation, the Graff Butterfly collection reminds us that true beauty lies in the ability to transform, always with brilliance.

LE FLAIR THE GREAT ESCAPE
From 30 April to 3 May 2026, the second edition of the Le Flair rally will transform the shores of Lake Geneva into a theatre of automotive elegance and cultural discovery. Combining mechanical passion and fivestar hospitality, this event is already establishing itself as an unmissable event for driving enthusiasts.
AN EXCEPTIONAL COMMUNITY
The history of this rally draws its strength from the expertise of the Passione Engadina team, which has been cultivating the art of bringing collectors together around exceptional automotive pieces for fifteen years. Building on this heritage, ‘Le Flair’ was born with the ambition of creating a bridge between generations of vehicles. Limited to just 60 crews, the event focuses on the quality of exchanges and the creation of authentic bonds. The route pays tribute to this passionate chronology by welcoming both the ‘Untouchables’, those timeless classics born before 1986, and the “Challengers” of the modern era and contemporary racing cars in the ‘Lightning Strike’ category.
A CULTURAL AND GASTRONOMIC ITINERARY
The journey begins at the Hôtel Le Mirador Resort & Spa, a veritable balcony overlooking Lake Geneva, which will serve as headquarters for this four-day epic. On the first evening, participants will immerse themselves in history and emotion during a private dinner at the Charlie Chaplin Museum in Corsier-sur-Vevey. The route has been designed like a delicate musical score, taking these legendary cars along the winding roads of the Jura and the Jura Arc. A memorable stage will take the convoy to La Chaux-de-Fonds for an immersion in fine watchmaking at the Villa Girard-Perregaux. In this historic setting, time seems to stand still during an exclusive lunch, highlighting the link that has always united prestigious cars and watchmaking precision.
The sensory experience continues along the route, with a special focus on gastronomy and oenology. The evenings will be enhanced by a selection of Edmond de Rothschild Heritage wines, and participants will even have the opportunity to learn about oenology during a masterclass with world champion sommelier Paolo Basso.
The highlight of the event will be the gala dinner on Saturday evening. On this occasion, a charity auction will be held in aid of Race Against Dementia, the organisation founded by Sir Jackie Stewart to support dementia research. Prestigious lots, including a one off timepiece by Girard-Perregaux and a two days unique experience with the F1 legend Sir Jackie Steward will be auctioned to support this remarkable cause.
DESTINATION LEADERSHIP THE MCCALL MACBAIN FOUNDATION TRAINS THE NEXT GENERATION OF WORLD CHANGERS
In the world of aviation, the word «destination» evokes travel, a change of scenery and discovery. Meanwhile, The McCall MacBain Foundation is leading the way in philanthropy by focusing on the travellers of the future, the leaders whose vision will shape tomorrow’s world. Some journeys are more human-centred than others...
THIS CANADIAN STORY HAS GONE GLOBAL!
The extraordinary foundation was established by John McCall MacBain and Marcy McCall MacBain. These Canadians have both followed unconventional paths. John grew up in Niagara Falls, while Marcy was born on a farm in rural Ontario. They both received a state education and, above all, scholarships that enabled them to attend prestigious universities such as McGill and McMaster. These experiences clearly impacted their vision of education as a transformative force with the power to change the world. Building on the success of his company, Trader Classified Media — the world’s largest classified advertising company — John MacBain sold it without hesitation and turned his attention to his true motivations. In 2007, together with Marcy, he established the ambitious philanthropic project that is the McCall MacBain Foundation, devoting a large part of his fortune to it.
FOCUSING ON THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW:
Over time, the foundation became involved in various areas, including health, climate and education. It then formed a strong conviction: that leadership is essential for overcoming major global challenges. This conviction led to the creation of one of the most remarkable academic altruism programmes: the McCall MacBain Scholarships. Launched in 2019 following an exceptional donation of $200 million to McGill University, the programme offers students from around the world the opportunity to pursue a fully funded master’s degree in Montreal, complete with a few ‘extras’ that make all the difference: a structured leadership programme, mentoring by international figures and membership of an international community immersed in a network of committed individuals. Only around 30 students are selected each year, granting them entry into an exclusive world.
MONTREAL, A BREEDING GROUND FOR IDEAS AND CULTURES
In the heart of the city, the McCall MacBain Fellows’ House offers winners a unique experience. Far from the traditional campus image, this place brings together economists, scientists, social entrepreneurs and public decision-makers. In an atmosphere more akin to a gathering of friends than a school setting, a wide range
of topics are discussed freely, including climate change, artificial intelligence, public policy and global health. The programme’s appeal lies in the diversity of its participants’ backgrounds — while some will go on to become diplomats, others will become entrepreneurs, researchers, or NGO leaders.
INVESTING IN A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
Education lies at the heart of the foundation, but its commitments go further. It supports ambitious environmental initiatives that address both local issues and global challenges. Since 2019, the issue of young people’s mental health has also been added to the list of crucial topics.
INFLUENTIAL PHILANTHROPY
In a world where challenges have shaped expectations, the McCall MacBain Foundation has opted for a simple yet ambitious approach: investing in people and training them to think differently and collaborate globally to devise sustainable solutions. This vision resonates with the world of travel in many ways, breaking down borders and opening up new paths along which tomorrow’s talents will journey. Transforming the future: the holy grail for tomorrow’s travellers.
At Necker Finance, we believe real success is built over time and always with purpose. Whether you are aspiring to create an enduring legacy, planning your future, or aiming for a personal goal, we are here to guide you every step of the way.
With expert insights, personalised strategies, and market-based solutions, we help turn your financial journey into lasting success.
WHEN FINE DINING BECOMES A JOURNEY
An extraordinary journey, a few seconds that matter more than others. Feeling as though you’ve stepped into another world, discovering the horizon as you’ve never seen it before… a stopover that prolongs the pleasure.
In Crissier, a town near Lausanne, lies a destination well worth taking the time for an extraordinary stop: the Restaurant de l’Hôtel de Ville. A cuisine of the utmost precision that evokes the thrill of discovery.
LONG LIVE THE LEGEND…
Few restaurants in the world can boast of consistently reaching such heights.
In 1955, Benjamin Girardet took over the Café de l’Hôtel de Ville in Crissier, offering classic cuisine based on local specialities. His son, Fredy, took over in 1965. His minimalist style – never more than three flavours on a plate – challenged the conventions established by his father but reinforced the foundations. In 1996, Philippe Rochat, true to his mentor’s values, sought to achieve ‘invisible perfection’. In 2012, Benoît Violier took his place at the helm and worked closely with him, particularly on the renovation of the kitchens.
Finally, in 2016, Franck Giovannini took the reins of a kitchen that had become a must-visit. With over thirty years’ experience, he embodies the passing on of expertise and continues a philosophy of taste initiated by the four previous chefs. A creative cuisine that knows how to (re) interpret ingredients, highlighting their natural qualities through a play of flavours.
QUALITY GOES HAND IN HAND WITH CONVIVIALITY
Dining rooms, dedicated to the previous chefs, exude refined simplicity, with every detail designed to ensure a seamless experience… Here, haute cuisine is not meant to be stuffy or intimidating, but warm and family-oriented. Chef Giovannini and his team – around twenty chefs for some fifty guests – work in a creative atmosphere that does not exclude Swiss precision. But behind the rigour lies emotion… always.
“People often get the impression that our restaurant is only for the rich and that the atmosphere is a bit stuffy,” laments Franck Giovannini. In fact, he assures us, the experience is actually quite fun! The younger generation feels at ease here, far removed from the hackneyed standards of fine dining.

FIVE SEASONS IN TUNE WITH NATURE
Creativity and poetry go hand in hand. Are four seasons not enough to keep pace with the rhythm dictated by the produce? Never mind, the restaurant has added a fifth, nestled between spring and summer. This focus on nature fuels a constant flow of creativity. In 2025, no fewer than 38 menus were offered. These moments devoted to imagination are precious to Chef Giovannini. Exploring new ideas with his team remains the most intense pleasure for him.
Innovation: everything that drives Chef Giovannini summed up in a single word. Innovating, dreaming of unlikely combinations between ingredients from distant worlds… this is what drives him day in, day out. His latest masterstroke embodies a simplicity that is both familiar and regal: the daring pairing of green beans and caviar. An unlikely union of textures and flavours.
THE FULFILMENT OF AN “EXTRA-ORDINARY” EXPERIENCE
A meal becomes an experience, a moment suspended in time. Taking one’s time… a philosophy shared by all guests. Time to savour every moment offered by an exceptional menu… a few words exchanged with the chef and his team… the language of well-being.
Just a few minutes from Lausanne, the Restaurant de l’Hôtel de Ville offers you moments dedicated to excellence. A respite where fine dining meets the good life, in the excellence of precision infused with emotion.
Flight Itinerary Must-see stopovers

THEGROUP
THEGROUP
JETFLY ONE GROUP, ONE IDENTITY
The Jetfly Group is stepping into a new chapter. On 1 May 2026, the European leader in business aviation introduced a global rebranding across all its entities, bringing a clearer structure and identity to an organisation that has steadily expanded over the past two decades.
The move reflects how the Group has evolved. What began in 1999 with the creation of Jetfly, now headquartered in Luxembourg, has grown into a broader structure that brings together specialised aviation businesses across several European markets. Today, the Group serves more than 500 owners and operates a fleet of over 70 aircraft, while delivering integrated solutions that go well beyond ownership. This growth has taken place step by step, shaping what
the Group is today. In 2019, it integrated CaptainJet, a global charter booking platform offering tailored private flight solutions, alongside Hendell Aviation, a Finland-based operator specialising in Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. The addition of Fly 7 Aviation in Lausanne further expanded its expertise in aircraft management and operations, followed in August 2021 by the launch of Europe’s first Pilatus PC-12 training simulator through Fly 7 Training.
Together with its maintenance activities through Jetfly Technik, Jetfly Technik Suisse and Bournemouth Aviation Services, as well as myLittlePlane, which specialises in aircraft brokerage, acquisition and advisory services, the Group has progressively built a comprehensive range of services. The objective is clear: to offer a seamless, one stop shop for business aviation, combining complementary expertise within a single structure and built on a strong focus on expertise, efficiency and long-term excellence.
Under the new identity, the Group’s activities are brought together within a clearer, more structured framework. Fractional Ownership continues under the Jetfly name, while Fly 7 became Jetfly Management, and Fly 7 Training transitioned to Jetfly Training. Charter services, previously operated by both Jetfly and Fly 7, are now consolidated under Jetfly On-Demand. Maintenance activities are unified as Jetfly Technics, and myLittlePlane became Jetfly Trading. CaptainJet retains its own identity, reflecting its complementary and independent role within the Group.
The new visual identity has been introduced progressively across communication materials, digital platforms, and corporate documents, starting with the launch of a new website. The Group presented this new chapter at AERO Friedrichshafen, one of Europe’s leading aviation trade shows, held from 22 to 25 April, offering its first public view of how these activities now come together under a single identity.
As the Group enters this next phase, the focus is clear: a more unified structure, a broader range of integrated services, and a consistent approach designed to support clients across every aspect of business aviation.
