wheels 1950 Jaguar XK 150 Drop Head Coupe This car was brought as a private export left hand drive in London on the 12th of July 1958. It was imported to Australia in 1986 and converted to a right-hand drive. Spring Hill resident, Allan Buckley brought it off an orthopaedic surgeon not long after. Allan said, “I have had her for a quarter of a century now and she is still an unrestored car. One of the most significant local personalities who travelled in this was Mary Turner.” This is the only drop head coupe in the Central West, racking up 48,000 miles.

We do accept trade-ins, but we on sell those and we only keep new stock on the floor. We also stock parts, merchandise, accessories and we have a busy workshop. So do you ride a Harley yourself? Yes, I own a 2018 model of lowrider, a
fairly naked bike, it doesn’t have all the fairing and the trims and so on, which is my preference. I’m old school in that sense, but everyone who comes in the shop is different. They all have different preferences and likes. Who are your typical customers? A huge range of people. The public perception is often that Harley’s are tied with bikies but most Harley riders are just ordinary people, ordinary business people such as myself.
What is it you like about Harley Davidson motorcycles? Harley Davidson are an iconic brand and they’ve been around a long time — it is actually their 115th anniversary this year. They’ve survived where others haven’t and they’ve built a fantastic brand name and they are just a fantastic bike for cruising. I love the look of them, the sound, the fact that there is so much you can do with them to personalise them. I love everything about them. How much can you personalise on a Harley? You can virtually do anything with them, everything from having the engine of the
bike upgraded towheels, bars, covers, saddlebags, fairings ,right down to all the little nitty-gritty like your engine covers, grips and so on. There’s a huge range of Harley accessories, so basically every Harley ends up being fairly unique. Are there any services or products you provide that people may not know about? The fact that we do service all makes of bikes. We also have a large range of merchandise, not only Harley, but we have a lot of motocross stock in store as well. That’s something we are finding people haven’t been aware of.
