Featuring International Steinway Artist Dr. Linda Apple Monson in collaboration with outstanding faculty artists Dr. Dennis Edelbrock (trumpet), Dr. Anna Balakerskaia (duo-piano), Dr. Eunae Ko Han and Dr. John Healey (piano ensemble).
The first half of the concert features marvelous Mason students with works by Bach, Chopin, Brahms, Liszt, Fernando Obradors, Florence Price, and Alexander Scriabin! The second half of the concert showcases faculty performances in an all-Gershwin tribute, including Rhapsody in Blue (arranged for trumpet and piano), excerpts from Porgy and Bess (arranged for duo-piano), and "I Got Rhythm" (arranged for 8-hands piano).
