Who Is Oakland and What Do We Offer: Oakland is a small co-ed boarding and day school that enables bright children ages 6-13, at admission, to reach their academic and personal potential through class sizes with low student-to-teacher ratios and individualized student programs. Oakland specializes in working with children who have language-based learning differences, organizational difficulties, or those who thrive in a personalized academic setting.
Student Experiences: 1- This school is a bright spot in my memories. For once, I was allowed to be me. My teachers were always kind, and I could learn at my pace, as some subjects I was way ahead on, and some behind.
Parent Experiences: 1- We are very proud of our son and his accomplishments. We owe it all to Oakland. If we had not found this special place, I hate to think what would have happened to him. There were days I never though I would see him get his hard earned diploma, but I will see this life event for him on Thursday, and then it’s on to college.
