WE RENEW OUR COMMITMENT

SECOND SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST • JUNE 7, 2026 • 11:00AM

THE COMMUNITY GATHERS

OFFERTORY Antiphon (from Five Mystical Songs) — Ralph Vaughan Williams Let all the world in every corner sing, My God and King. The heavens are not too high, His praise may thither fly; the earth is not too low, His praises there may grow. The church with Psalms must shout, no door can keep them out: but above all, the heart must bear the longest part. DOXOLOGY #94 Praise God, from Whom All Blessings Flow — LASST UNS ERFREUEN Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; praise God, all creatures here below: Alleluia! Alleluia! Praise God, the source of all our gifts! Praise Jesus Christ, whose power uplifts! Praise the Spirit, Holy Spirit! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

INVITATION TO COMMUNION CONFESSION AND PARDON THE GREAT THANKSGIVING

CALL TO WORSHIP Praise the God of all creation. We worship the One who calls us, the One who speaks in surprising ways, the One who draws us toward new paths of faithfulness. Come, celebrate the presence of our loving God. We come with open hearts, listening for the voice that still calls us today.

HYMN OF PROCESSION #2191 Eternal Father, Strong to Save — MELITA (See bulletin insert.)

RECEIVING OF ELEMENTS

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

CLOSING PRAYER Eternal God, we give you thanks for this holy mystery in which you have given yourself to us. Grant that we may go into the world in the strength of your Spirit, to give ourselves for others, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

GLORIA PATRI #71 Glory Be to the Father — GREATOREX Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end.

THE LORD’S PRAYER Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
