O Lord, Hear My Prayer — TAIZÉ O Lord, hear my prayer. When I call answer me. O Lord, hear my prayer. Come and listen to me.
CALL TO WORSHIP Out of the depths we cry to you, O Lord. Lord, hear our voices! If you, O Lord, should mark our transgressions, who could stand? But with you, there is forgiveness. Like the people of Nineveh, we hear the call to turn back to God. We do not hide our brokenness; we bring it to the light. We strip away our pride and put on humility, trusting in the God of second chances. Our souls wait for the Lord, more than those who watch for the morning. More than those who watch for the morning, our hope is in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and great power to redeem. Come, let us worship the God of abundant mercy!
