PRELUDE GREETING INTROIT

THE LORD’S PRAYER Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. BAPTISM BAPTISMAL RESPONSE Do you as Christ’s body, the church, reaffirm both your rejection of sin and your commitment to Christ? We do. Will you nurture one another in the Christian faith and life and include Tucker now before you in your care?

All that Hath LIfe and Breath — René Clausen All that hath life and breath, praise ye the Lord. Shout to the Lord, alleluia. Praise Him, Laud Him, Alleluia!

CALL TO WORSHIP Alleluia! Christ is risen! The Lord is risen indeed! Alleluia! We have not seen the risen Christ. Yet we see his grace at work. We have not seen Jesus face-to-face. Yet we see his love in others. We have not touched the wounds of the cross. Yet we bring healing in his name. The risen Christ is among us still. In hope, in love, and in lives made new. Let us rejoice and worship the Lord!

With God’s help we will proclaim the good news and live according to the example of Christ. We will surround Austin with a community of love and forgiveness, that she may grow in her service to others. We will pray for her, that she may be a true disciple who walks in the way that leads to life.

HYMN OF PROCESSION #304 Easter People, Raise Your Voices — REGENT’S SQUARE

HYMN

(Following the baptism, children, kindergartners through third grade, are invited to exit the Sanctuary for Children’s Worship. Children will return to reserved pews in the Sanctuary at the close of worship.)

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
