The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sport and Entertainment Management provides a multidisciplinary, core business education and depth of knowledge in the management and marketing of organizations in the Sport and Entertainment industries to prepare graduates for careers in collegiate, amateur and professional sports as well as other entertainment organizations.

ENGAGED LEARNING

The Sport Management Institute for High School Students (CSU Affiliate), hosts a week-long summer camp for students interested in Sport & Entertainment Management. Includes guest visits from industry professionals, team-building, trips to local venues, behind-the scenes tours and more!

STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS FOR LEARNING AND NETWORKING.

The Sport & Entertainment Management Club at Cleveland State University provides opportunities for students to engage with employers, specifically in the sports and entertainment industry. Launched in Fall 2022, the program hosted a Sport & Entertainment Management Night and a Cleveland Guardian’s Day within their first year to connect students with employers.

Sport & Entertainment Management students are required to participate in one internship prior to graduation. We recommend participating in two internships for a maximum of 6 credit hours. With guidance from our faculty, internships are plentiful through our program and multiple networking opportunities that the College provides.
