DIRECRTOR’S NOTE
Welcome,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to our production of Matilda, Jr. The students have worked very hard for the last 6 weeks. I have witnessed these young ladies and gentlemen blossom into student directors, choreographers, costume and set designers. We have not only learned new skills but have also developed our ensemble (team of actors and technicians) into a theatre family.
I would like to send a special thank you to the members of Troupe 88547 for their extra contributions to this show. Our Superior rated team of actors and technicians have utilized the skills learned over the last 3 years to create the world of Matilda for you tonight. I would like to specifically thank Emma P for her seamstress contributions on our costume team and the 2026 drama board members for stepping into the roles of choreographers and vocal coaches.
In closing, I want to make sure we give a shout out to my fellow staff members. Especially our custodial staff and administration for all their behind-the-scenes work and allowing us the opportunity to shine!
