It is my privilege to welcome you to the 2025-2026 performance season at California School of the Arts –San Gabriel Valley (CSArts-SGV)! I am thrilled to introduce this year’s extraordinary lineup of performances and events. Each of these productions is a celebration of the passion, talent, and dedication of our students, faculty, and staff.

Every year, I am deeply inspired by the collaborative efforts of our school community, as those on stage and behind the scenes come together to make the impossible possible. Tonight, I feel honored to share the creative spirit of our campus with you and to invite you to experience firsthand the magic our students and teachers have been working so hard to create.

Program Note

Welcome to Holiday Enchantment! We are delighted to share this magical evening with you as we celebrate the season through music, movement, and the creativity of our extraordinary student artists. Now in its second year, this collaborative production between the School of Music and the School of Dance has quickly become a cherished CSArts tradition - one that embodies the joy, imagination, and interdisciplinary spirit that define our community.

Tonight’s program brings together students from Vocal Arts, Popular Music, Instrumental Music, and Ballet & Contemporary Dance. From the timeless elegance of The Nutcracker to contemporary holiday favorites and beloved choral masterworks, our students have embraced the challenge of building a show that honors both classical and modern traditions. You will hear music spanning centuries and styles, see choreography rooted in both ballet and contemporary technique, and witness what is possible when young artists collaborate across disciplines with curiosity and passion.

Producing a concert of this scale is truly a collective effort. Our deepest thanks go to our phenomenal faculty and artistic staff whose expertise and mentorship guide our students every day. We also extend our sincere gratitude to the CSArts administration, production crew, and our dedicated families for their unwavering support.

We would like to offer a special thank you to our incredible parent volunteers, whose generosity and enthusiasm help bring the spirit of the season to life. From decorating the lobby, to organizing the Holiday Market, to supporting our students through a long week of tech rehearsals and performances, your time and care make an immeasurable difference. We are deeply grateful for all you do!

Most of all, we want to commend our students. Their commitment to long rehearsals, intricate choreography, demanding repertoire, and the pursuit of excellence is inspiring. Their collaboration across conservatories is what makes Holiday Enchantment truly special.
