The Cruise Collection
Welcome
As we embrace the new year, with all the fresh hope it brings, I know we can look forward to sharing a world full of joy with our Crystal family.
The past 12 months have been very precious to us, marking 35 years of our exceptional cruises with a series of anniversary sailings. These were particularly poignant as we were able to celebrate with some much-loved faces from our past and present, including former Captains and Cruise Directors, Chef Nobu, and our Chairmen Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio and Geoffrey Kent.
These special voyages were just one of the highlights of a busy year, which also included the unveiling of more themed cruises inspired by your personal passions and desire to explore the world. In 2026, we look forward to hosting unique experiences for F1 fans at the Monaco and Spanish Grands Prix in June, and the return of our expert-led Wellness at Sea® retreats, which will tour the west coast of the Americas this summer. Most excitingly, we will be in a prime spot to witness the awesome sight of the solar eclipse this August, as we sail within the path of totality – an out-of-this-world experience indeed.
We are proud to expand our work with our sister brand Abercrombie & Kent, too, with the first A&K Expedition Cruise due to set sail on Crystal in summer, offering an unparalleled cultural and culinary experience of the Mediterranean.
And, of course, we are incredibly proud of our biggest news, our first new ocean ship in 25 years, Crystal Grace. This magnificent vessel is now being constructed in Trieste and although she won’t enter the water until 2028, there is much work to do honoring our celebrated heritage by defining a new generation of cruising.
As ever with Crystal, the future looks bright.

RIGHT PLACE
At Crystal, we take you to some of the world’s biggest events and most enviable destinations in the utmost comfort and style. Here’s what you can look forward to.

New Horizons
While fjords are more often associated with Norway and Alaska, the southern coast of Chile – the remote and wildly beautiful Patagonia – has its own spectacular examples. And in 2027, we’re taking guests there for the first time on our Buenos Aires to Valparaiso cruise, November 11-29. Jagged snow-capped peaks climb steeply above sapphireblue glaciers, while emerald-green temperate rainforest lines the banks. Whales, penguins, and seals are common sightings. All around you are reminders that nature is in charge here, with vast swathes of shore remaining impassable on foot – that’s why cruising is the best way to discover this soul-stirring wilderness up close and personal.
Step on the Gas
Not one but two Formula 1 fixtures hit the Med in 2026 – and we’ll be in port to see both. First, these speedy superstars will get into gear for the legendary Monaco Grand Prix, a high-octane spectacle that demands true skill on the tight Fairmont Hairpin bend and notoriously tricky tunnel. This race is also famous for having the most unusual podium on the F1 calendar – the steps of the Royal Box. Just days later, they will be off the grid again in the Circuit de BarcelonaCatalunya, battling to be first past the checkered flag in the Spanish Grand Prix. Put yourself in pole position for the best views and experiences at each of these thrilling events. Check out our Marseille-Civitavecchia (Rome) cruise, June 2-10, for the Monaco Grand Prix, featuring exclusive shore excursions, and our Barcelona-Lisbon cruise, June 15-27, for the Spanish Grand Prix, which has the added option of F1-themed Pre- and Post-Cruise Extensions. Can’t make it in 2026? We’ll be back in Monaco for the 2027 Grand Prix, too, on our Barcelona-Civitavecchia (Rome) cruise, June 3-12.

MONACO GRAND PRIX
CHILEAN FJORDS

Small but Mighty
The big-hitting Greek islands will never go out of style but we’re always striving to introduce our guests to lesser-known gems, too. In 2027, we’ll be making our inaugural visits to Milos and Kalamata on our Piraeus (Athens) to Fusina (Venice) cruise, May 4-11. In Milos, where the prized Venus de Milo statue that now stands in the Louvre in Paris was found, you can explore a lunar-like landscape seemingly untouched by time. Kalamata, meanwhile, is home to the famed olives to which it gives its name, so you can expect delicious food along with fascinating churches and museums.
Better Together
We’re continuing to expand our partnership with sister brand Abercrombie & Kent with a series of exclusive, expert-led itineraries hosted on board our ships. The first, Rome to Fusina (Venice), August 28-September 8, 2026, sold out in a matter of weeks. The next five are now on sale for 2027, with more to come. Choose from A Voyage Around Italy (May 9-20), The Insider’s Mediterranean (May 25-June 3), Europe’s Culinary Atlantic Coast (June 26July 9), Autumn in New York and Canada (September 8-21), and French Riviera to Lisbon (October 6-18).
Each voyage begins with a two-night stay at a luxury hotel selected by A&K and a program of exclusive events, special dinners, expert lectures, and carefully curated shore excursions designed by A&K’s renowned network of local specialists. Plus, of course, guests enjoy all the sumptuous comforts and unparalleled service that Crystal is famed for. Spaces on each voyage are limited to just 50 places so act quickly to secure your place.

THE ICE OF AND FIRE LAND
KENAI FJORDS NATIONAL PARK

Celebrating our return to Alaska since our relaunch, we uncover the true meaning of awe in this vast wilderness.
SNOWY FOREST, FAIRBANKS
Words: SARAH MARSHALL
Hiking high above the treeline, shards of pumice and volcanic glass crunched below my feet.
On the horizon, ridgelines cut the sky like serrated blades and distant glaciers glinted like tiny mirrors. Around me, hardy lichens clung to rocks cloaked in veils of pewter and rose, but very soon they would be bleached white beneath a glaring midday sun.
This wasn’t wilderness in the conventional sense. Beneath the moss and crowberry struggling to reclaim the highlands was a geological wound that’s been slow to heal. Although there are no vents, craters, chimneys, or fumaroles on Kodiak Island, a wildlife haven lying off the southern coast of Alaska, much of the topography has been shaped by a fire within the Earth’s belly. In 1912, the greatest volcanic event of the 20th century transformed this landscape forever when Novarupta erupted with a series of explosions 60 miles away across the Shelikof Strait on the Alaska Peninsula.
The impact of the blasts was far-reaching, causing destruction beyond the mainland. Darkness descended for three days in Kodiak as clouds of debris eclipsed the sun, buildings collapsed under an avalanche of black ash, and

wildlife was poisoned by acid rain. But out of desolation emerged hope and resurrection. Second-growth spruce forests sprouted from the graves of their ancestors and ash-fertilized soils to create grasslands for some of the largest brown bears on the planet.
Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge is one of many protected areas in Alaska, but almost the entirety of the U.S.’s largest state is dominated by nature. Larger than Texas, Montana, and California combined, it sprawls across an almost incomprehensible 665,000 square miles. Lying at the extreme tip of the North American continent, Alaska’s ecosystems span glacier fields laced with icy fjords, rolling tundra, and temperate rainforests bursting with wildlife. Largely inaccessible by road, less than 0.0005% of the land has been developed for human habitation, making it one of the last true wilderness regions on our planet.
Traveling along the southern coastline by sea, I was hoping to catch a glimpse of these untouched regions that have captured the imaginations of artists and explorers for centuries. Fire has undoubtedly molded much of the terrain, but so too has ice.
STELLAR SEA LIONS, KENAI FJORDS NATIONAL PARK

“
The water dazzled in a palette of blues, shifting from cool, stark hues of cobalt to deceptively warm shades of turquoise more appropriate to tropical climes.
”

KENAI FJORDS NATIONAL PARK

From Kodiak, my journey took me southeast to the Kenai Fjords National Park, where the wilderness takes on an entirely different character. The area is dominated by the Harding Icefield, which feeds 40 glaciers and sends its frozen fingers through mountain valleys to meet the sea. Boarding a small expedition vessel in main town Seward, I passed sea otters, sea lions, and even a curious humpback whale on a journey into Resurrection Bay.
The water dazzled in a palette of blues, shifting from cool, stark hues of cobalt to deceptively warm shades of turquoise more appropriate to tropical climes. Towering rock walls rose thousands of feet from the waterline, streaked with layers of geological history.
As we approached the crumpled face of a glacier, the captain cut our boat’s engines. Creaks and groans reverberated through the ice, punctuated by sharp cracks like rifle shots. Then, with a deep, guttural roar, a section of the face broke free and crashed into the sea, sending waves radiating across the bay, frozen fragments dancing in the surge. Compressed over several centuries, thousands of tons of ice had returned to the water in a matter of seconds.
Of all the icy forms along this coastline, the Hubbard Glacier is undoubtedly the most impressive. Unlike most of the world’s glaciers, Hubbard is growing, advancing 1.5
miles since 1895 and calving icebergs the size of buildings into Disenchantment Bay. Gazing up at the chaotic mass of seracs, crevasses, and pressure ridges is a humbling experience. Ground from rocks during its long journey from the mountains, dark layers of moraine streak its surface. Where the ice meets the water, it glows electric blue, as if lit from within.
Surrounded by this frozen expanse, I found it hard to imagine the dense, healthy forests that lay ahead of me. Around 100,000 glaciers cover 5% of Alaska, continuously shaping its topography, but most of the land is swathed in trees. Covering around 80% of the Southeast Alaska Panhandle, Tongass National Forest is the largest forest in the U.S. and the largest intact temperate rainforest in the world.
Disembarking from the ship, I hiked beneath cathedral groves of Sitka spruce that have stood for centuries, their trunks so vast I struggled to wrap my arms around them. Bald eagles perched on branches protruding from the forest canopy, their bright white heads shining like beacons in the dark. Taking flight, they moved like apparitions, disappearing into thick veils of mist.
Alongside these ghostly sightings, signs of life were everywhere. Thick rugs of moss covered the ground and ferns unfurled from fallen logs. Decay and regeneration

were happening simultaneously, a continuous cycle that has been uninterrupted for millennia.
“ Alaska is wilderness in its truest form, incomprehensibly vast and shaped by timescales that make our own lives feel like heartbeats. ”
Following a trail that wound through old-growth forest, I reached an alpine meadow where the sky opened up to reveal a horizon of jagged peaks. Glaciers hung in the high cirques, feeding streams that became waterfalls, plunging over cliffs into the valleys below. In that moment, I felt dwarfed not only by my surroundings but also the power of a natural world that humans barely appreciate or understand.
Glaciers will continue to advance and retreat, carving mountains and birthing icebergs. Volcanic ash will weather slowly into the soil, preparing the ground for forests that won’t take root for centuries. Ancient trees will breathe oxygen into the atmosphere, feeding all life. Alaska is wilderness in its truest form, incomprehensibly vast and shaped by timescales that make our own lives feel like heartbeats. ✦

SIX OF THE BEST ALASKA ADVENTURES
Award-winning Alaskan blogger Valerie Stimac Bailey of valerievalise.com gives her insider tips on the must-see sights when cruising the region.
TRACK DOWN BEARS
Few experiences capture Alaska’s wild nature quite like watching a bear in its natural habitat. Some of the best places to see them include Kodiak Island, where immense brown bears wade through salmon streams with astonishing grace. Near Wrangell, the Anan Wildlife Observatory offers a front-row view of black and brown bears fishing side by side, while in Haines, the banks of the Chilkat River teem with activity as bears feast on salmon.

RIDE THE VINTAGE RAILS
A ride on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway narrow-gauge train will offer you both glorious views and an insight into the days of the Klondike Gold Rush. Constructed between 1898 and 1900, the railroad ascends from Skagway nearly 3,000 feet in just 20 miles, tracing a route carved by fortune-seekers through sheer granite slopes and lush alpine valleys. Today, the historic railcars with panoramic windows offer a far more comfortable ascent as well as one of the best ways to glimpse Alaska’s rugged frontier past.

WATCH OUT FOR WHALES
Alaska’s rich waterways are home to many whales and summer is the prime season to see them. From Juneau’s sheltered waters to Icy Strait Point’s rich feeding grounds, humpbacks breach and bubble-net feed just offshore. In Seward, orcas and gray whales patrol the fjords of Kenai Fjords National Park, their sleek forms slicing through the waters. Each sighting – whether the wave of a flipper or a soaring breach – feels like a private performance in nature’s grand theater.

FOLLOW THE TOTEM POLE TRAIL
Alaska’s totem poles stand as vivid storytellers of Indigenous heritage and artistry. Along Juneau’s Kootéeyaa Deiyí (Totem Pole Trail), new works rise in dialogue with ancient traditions. In Ketchikan, Totem Bight State Historical Park and the Totem Heritage Center preserve masterful poles weathered by time. Klawock’s Totem Park showcases some of Alaska’s oldest replicas, while Sitka National Historical Park offers a serene forest walk among these historic and modern symbols of Tlingit culture.

DISCOVER RUSSIAN HERITAGE
Echoes of Russia’s colonial past linger in Alaska’s coastal towns. In Sitka, once the capital of Russian America, St. Michael’s Cathedral gleams with onion domes and centuries-old icons, while nearby Castle Hill recalls the 1867 transfer of Alaska to the United States. On Kodiak Island, the Holy Resurrection Cathedral and Baranov Museum preserve artifacts and architecture from that same era – enduring reminders of a time when Alaska was the Russian Empire’s New World frontier.

JUMP IN A DOGSLED
Few adventures feel more quintessentially Alaskan than mushing behind a team of eager huskies. In ports such as Juneau, Skagway, and Seward, visitors can experience the thrill firsthand, either by gliding across a glacier by helicopteraccessed sled or racing along forested summer trails on wheeled rigs. Led by seasoned mushers, these excursions offer both excitement and insight into Alaska’s enduring dog-sledding tradition, where teamwork, endurance, and spirit define life in this epic wilderness.

YASAWA ISLANDS

DROPS I N THE OCEAN
Our 2027 World Cruise will meander around the idyllic islands of the South Pacific. We shine the spotlight on one of its treasures, Fiji, and suggest what to look out for at our other ports of call.
Laid-back, palm-fringed, and sparkling with emerald lagoons, Fiji’s 330 islands and countless coral islets cluster at the turquoise heart of the South Pacific. Scattered between Hawaii, Australia, and New Zealand, the nation's sawtoothed peaks rise from the ocean skirted with arcs of white sand and ever-expanding rainbows of coral reefs. Truly an archipelago of adventure, the islands form a crossroads in Polynesia and Melanesia, one of the last places on Earth to be reached by European explorers.
Cradled by the surrounding countries of Tonga, Samoa, and Vanuatu, Fiji is a South Pacific vision, from the soaring volcanoes of its Yasawa archipelago to rainforest-cloaked Taveuni, and from the white sands and legendary surf breaks of the Mamanuca islands to outlying Kadavu, haloed in coral by the Great Astrolabe Reef.
The largest island, Viti Levu, is home to most Fijians and its capital, Suva, is as urban as the South Pacific

gets, a gathering of Indian, Chinese, Tongan, IndoFijian, and Indigenous iTaukei communities. There are fiery curries to sample, slick malls to shop in, and ancient canoes to admire in the national museum.
Beyond the city, nature reigns supreme in a landscape of jungle-dense mountains, fed by powerful waterfalls, and sand dunes rolling along azure bays. Three of the nation’s national parks are here, including the Gardens of the Sleeping Giant, a place to stroll around lily ponds amid drifts of orchids, and Beqa Lagoon, home to shipwrecks and resident tiger and bull
sharks that offer divers thrilling company.
The pristine northern islands, once the epicenter of the copra (coconut oil) trade, attract travelers seeking offthe-beaten-track adventures. A rural retreat, Vanua Levu is an island of just two towns: Labasa, which sits pretty among the sugarcane farms and mangroves of the north coast; and Savusavu, the southern port of call. Here, yachts make tranquil anchorage in rugged, mountain-backed bays, and rum cocktails are mixed in beach shacks where snorkelers retell stories of close encounters with manta rays. Just one of the many tales to share about these idyllic islands. ✦
MAMANUCA ISLANDS
AN ISLAND-HOPPER’S GUIDE TO THE SOUTH PACIFIC

Tahiti – and its capital Papeete – is famed for its precious black pearls and volcanic beaches, and conjures the magic of French Polynesia. Here, waterfalls dress jagged peaks and blue lagoons meet sandy coves where boutique resorts back silica sands. This was where James Norman Hall co-wrote Mutiny on the Bounty.

Star of French Polynesia’s Society Islands, Moorea was said to have inspired the mythical Bali Hai in author James Michener’s Tales of the South Pacific. Second only to Bora Bora for honeymoon appeal, this heart-shaped island is strewn with stilted villas standing over iridescent waters, Tahiti punctuating the sun-soaked horizon to the west.

The second largest of the Society Islands after Tahiti, Raiatea is the sacred birthplace of Polynesian culture. This river-fed, mountainous island is home to the UNESCO-listed archaeological site of Taputapuatea. Dedicated to the god ‘Oro, this mare (ceremonial place) saw outrigger canoes set sail into the world.

A byword for South Pacific perfection, this honeymoon favorite is surrounded by sand-fringed motus (islets) and crowned by a turquoise lagoon complete with a coral reef. Here, thatched overwater bungalows welcome barefoot luxury travelers and the dragon-backed peak of Mount Otemanu slices into forever skies.

The Samoan hub island of Upolu is a bold, basaltic rock beauty rising out of the ocean. The final resting place of Treasure Island author Robert Louis Stevenson, this island is where jade forests spread their roots in rich volcanic soil and the Sua ocean trench beckons swimmers with jungle-draped walls plummeting to surreally blue waters.

With deserted beaches, ancient Melanesian culture and an archipelago of some 80 rugged islands spread across several thousands of miles, Vanuatu is a clarion call for adventurers. The main island of Efate and its hub town Port Vila is the jumping-off point for some of the South Pacific’s best scuba experiences.

Set on the southeastern shores of Tutuila, the biggest island in American Samoa, Pago Pago is one of the world’s largest natural harbors, where walls of rainforest-clad cliffs rise sheer off the ocean. Here, gold-sand beaches host umu barbeque feasts and traditional villages punctate the hilly hinterland.

The vanilla-scented queen of New Caledonia’s Loyalty Islands is a towering beauty. Lifou’s port of Noumea is gateway to coral reefs, white-sand beaches, and sheerwalled cliffs studded with hidden caves. Visit traditional Kanak tribal villages, and eat delicate casseroles of coconut crab under coral-hue sunset skies.

The Isle of Pines is a rare sight, its bays backed by the tall columnar pines that lend this island its name. Here, translucent lagoons are home to Technicolor schools of butterfly, parrot, and clown fish, and traditional outrigger pirogue boats navigate bays where dolphins and turtles play.

Tempted to skip the organized tour and explore on your own? Not so fast... Here’s how a guide can transform your experience of a destination.
Words: LAURA ARCHER
Our driver weaves through the backstreets of Rome, past apartment blocks, balconies strung with laundry, busy cafés where dexterous waiters wield huge trays of tiny coffee cups, and shop windows piled high with fruits and vegetables. The road gets narrower, too slim for our vehicle, so we stop and get out in front of an unassuming gate. We look questioningly at our guide who just smiles and ushers us through. We round the corner, climb some steps, and suddenly find ourselves standing in one of the most exquisite buildings I have ever seen: an astonishing, opulent palazzo framed by immaculately kept Renaissance gardens, home to the largest private art collection in the city.
Our guide has brought us via the back entrance, it turns out, the better to surprise us. And we have the place completely, gloriously, to ourselves, with an art historian to take us from one lavish room to the next, pointing out the collection’s many treasures.
Would-be visitors looking for such a private tour must request access months in advance – and it’s not often granted. Individuals are welcome to buy a ticket in the hope

of snatching a glimpse of the prized artworks through the crowds. But we are here, just the four of us, because our guide has the contacts to unlock such a privilege.
And that’s where a great guide is worth their weight in gold. There’s much to be said, of course, for striking out independently and making your own discoveries, but when time is limited and a destination is unknown, a guide can make all the difference between leaving a place with a shrug of indifference or a heart full of inspiration.
A good guide transforms what could be an arduous day of box-ticking sightseeing into a deeper, more holistic experience of the heart and soul of a destination. They can provide after-hours access to museums or temples when all the crowds have gone and a reverent hush descends. They regale you with insightful commentary, packed with anecdotes that you won’t find in any history book, conjuring up the human stories behind ancient monuments. They can call in favors, granting you a sneak peek at something normally closed to the public. They know the best vantage points from which to take your photos, the best stall to buy your souvenirs from, and the best food stops for an authentic snack.
So, if you’ve ever wavered over whether it’s worth taking a group tour or hiring a private guide, who can tailor your time to suit your exact interests, don’t hesitate. You’ll see more, learn more, and understand a destination in a whole new light. ✦

THE CALL OF THE WILD
WHALES
place on the ship. You’ll want to be out of the wind and ideally with your back to the sun. For spotting whales, be on the top deck near the bow (Palm Court is ideal, too) – this location gives you the maximum viewing area, about 12 miles on a clear day. Scan the water near the ship, repeat the scan further away, then make a final scan to take in the horizon. Look for a whale spout – an ephemeral column of condensation. Of course, also look for a raised fluke or tail fin as a whale dives. Once you’ve spotted the whale, use binoculars to get a better look. Taking a photo of the fluke will help you identify which species you’ve seen. Most whale species have annual migration routes and if you’re sailing near a route, you will have a good chance of seeing one. Even if you’re not on a route, whales can appear near the ship, so be ready.

Where can you see a turtle sunbathing, a bird fly without flapping its wings, and a spinning dolphin? From the deck of our ships, as global adventurer and oceanography expert Ed Sobey, Ph.D., explains in his guide to what marine life you can spot as we sail around the world.

Humpback whales can be found in tropical waters during the winter season, with prime viewing spots including Hawaii, the Silver Bank off the Dominican Republic, and Baja California, Mexico. In summer, the best locations are Southeast Alaska, New England, and the Gulf of Maine, Saguenay and St. Lawrence Marine Park, and Iceland. Iceland is also a great place to see minke whales in summer.
Sperm whales are the largest predator on the planet. Dominica in the Caribbean is the best place to see them throughout late fall and winter in the Northern Hemisphere. From mid-May to October, find them hunting giant squid in the Azores. South Island, New Zealand, has a resident population of sperm whales. Two other prime locations are along the coast of Norway in summer and off Sri Lanka in the winter months.
In the U.S., orcas reside in the Salish Sea, Puget Sound, and north of the Inside Passage to Alaska. Summer offers better viewing. They also appear along any shoreline when seals and sea lions are pupping.
It’s difficult to see whale sharks from the ship, but the ship can take you to places where encounters are possible as a snorkeler. Donsol Bay in the Philippines, South Ari Atoll in the Maldives, Ningaloo Reef in Australia, La Paz in Mexico, and Cenderawasih Bay in Indonesia, are prime locations.
FLYING FISH
In tropical waters, watch for flying fish. Stand near the bow on any deck and gaze where the bow wave separates from the hull. One or as many as 50 small fish will take off and glide across the water. Watch closely to see them waggle

TURTLES
Sea turtles frequent tropical waters in the Caribbean, Central America, and Hawaii. You can see them from the ship or on land when they come ashore to lay eggs a few times a year. In calm seas, you may spot them at the surface of the water, warming themselves in the sunlight. Sometimes you might even see a mating couple.

The acrobats of the spinner dolphins can be found in tropical waters around the world. They make huge leaps into the air while spinning around before slamming back into the ocean. Hawaii provides great viewing.

BIRDS
Pelagic birds at sea – are found throughout the world’s oceans. Majestic albatrosses glide through the ferocious winds of the extreme southern oceans. They need strong winds to stay in the air and the Roaring Forties and beyond provide them. But there are two species that live in the North Pacific: they breed in winter in the Hawaiian islands and feed close to Alaska in the summer.
Shearwaters will fly adjacent to the ship 100 or more meters away. Watch as they fly for miles without flapping their wings. They have mastered dynamic soaring – near-effortless flight as long as the winds remain strong.
Diving birds may use the updraft created by the ship moving forward to fly rather than flapping their wings. They will group above the bridge – watch as they launch themselves into a dive to catch a flying fish that the ship has startled into flight. The ship provides them with a rest and a free meal.
Bald eagles are found in profusion along the Inside Passage and the Aleutian Islands. On a trip between Japan and Alaska, you’ll see many.
Antarctica and sub-Antarctic islands such as the Falkland Islands are great for seeing penguins. But they also reside off South Africa, around southern South America, and in the Galápagos Islands.
Frigate birds live in tropical areas and, in flight, they look prehistoric. Rather than hunting for their own fish, they prefer to steal it from other birds, hence why they are known as the pirates of the sky. You’re sure to spot them on a ✦

THE & EUROPE
Painters, writers, film stars, and more have long flocked to the Mediterranean, drawn by its slow, golden light, its impossibly beautiful countryside, its chic, tree-lined towns and cities. A true cradle of culture, the region balances blockbuster sights − the Colosseum, the Sagrada Familia, the ruins of Pompeii − with a laid-back way of life. Long lunches of cheeses, bread, and wine beneath ancient olive trees, the childhood thrill of jumping from rocks into an azure sea, the leisurely sway of a donkey climbing a hill. Ever-changing but always enchanting, the Mediterranean is a work of art in itself.

Join our full circumnavigation of the globe, Treasures of the Tides, on board Crystal Symphony It’s sure to be extraordinary.
KRABI, THAILAND

LOOPING THE LOOP
Westwards we go around the globe, countries laid out like stepping stones before us. And what a path lies ahead: ancient temples sinking into dense jungles, futuristic skyscrapers rising from the desert, tiny islands steeped in myths, and dynamic cities humming with creative energy. Setting sail from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this exceptional voyage weaves its way along the shores of Central and South America, including a memorable crossing of the Panama Canal, to the tropical Technicolor glory of the islands of the South Pacific. We trace the cinematic coastlines of New Zealand and Australia, bound for the spice and spirituality of Southeast Asia, from where we delve into the splendors of the Middle East. Europe follows, bringing historic wonders and delectable food, before we cross oceans once again to return to Florida (you have the option to end your odyssey two weeks earlier in Barcelona, should you wish). With so much to see and experience, what Treasures of the Tides will you discover?

Travel into the world of the Midnight Sun on a voyage around the northern edge of Europe. This 54-night adventure connects two distinctly different capital cities: the grand imperial streets of Lisbon in Portugal and Reykjavik in Iceland, a powerhouse city in the style of a fishing village. It’s a sign of the striking contrasts to come, as our journey covers a variety of terrain and a multitude of cultures, revealing how landscapes and communities have shaped each other. Along the way, our voyage will travel around the coasts of France, Britain, the Low Countries, and the shores of Scandinavia. COMING HOME TO CRYSTAL
“I never get bored on a Crystal ship,” says Heather Schweiger, who together with her husband, Tommy, has clocked up more than 100 Crystal cruises yet still finds something new each time. “They’ve got everything,” she explains. “I love padel tennis, which I play every day. I love the art, I’ve made jewelry, I learned the keyboard... The difference with Crystal ships compared with others is that the entertainment is Broadway level – far superior to any other cruise line – and the lectures are excellent.”
Tommy agrees, citing “the crew and the facilities” as the reasons he loves to sail with Crystal. “There’s just so much to do,” he says.
Also key is the draw of being part of the Crystal family. “There’s a sense of family, of happiness and friendliness,” explains Tommy. “The new owner of the company is a very clever man – he got nearly 90% of the crew back, so they’ve preserved that sense of the Crystal family and the Crystal feeling. We know so many of the crew by name. They’re not staff, they’re our friends –we ’ve been friends for 20 years now.”
Heather sums it up: “We feel at home here.”
