Arrival & Docking Information Radio Contact: Monitor VHF Channel 16 and contact the Dockmaster for docking instructions. Dockmaster: 954-566-7888, Ext. 218 Dockmaster Cell: 954-849-0015 Boat Arrival: From the Intracoastal Waterway, enter the marked channel into Sunrise Bay at the north end of the bay. Follow the marked channel south toward the Club, keeping within the marked depths. The marina entrance is on the east side of Sunrise Bay. FCYC Member Dockage: The first 24 hours are complimentary for FCYC members. After 24 hours, dockage is available at the FCYC discounted rate, plus electricity. LETTER On behalf of the Officers, Governors, Members, and Staff of Coral Ridge Yacht Club, it is my pleasure to welcome you back to Fort Lauderdale and to Coral Ridge Yacht Club for the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs General Meeting, November 13th – 15th, 2026. We are especially honored to host the Council once again. In August 1968, Coral Ridge Yacht Club was honored to become a member of this prestigious organization, and after some time since the Council last gathered at our Club, we are delighted to welcome FCYC back to Coral Ridge. The General Meeting is a wonderful opportunity for our clubs to come together, exchange ideas, share successful practices, and gain new perspectives from one another. We are pleased to complement those conversations with a weekend that showcases the best of Coral Ridge Yacht Club, from exceptional dining and thoughtfully hosted dinners to live entertainment and opportunities to simply enjoy the company of fellow FCYC members. We are also excited to welcome Captain Lee Rosbach, Captain of the St. David and star of Below Deck, as our featured guest speaker. His years of experience on the water and unique perspective are sure to provide an engaging and memorable addition to the weekend. We look forward to sharing our Club, our hospitality, and an unforgettable weekend with all of you. THE HISTORY OF
CORAL RIDGE YACHT CLUB Our Beginning In 1947, a vision shared by a group of passionate boating enthusiasts laid the foundation for what would become Coral Ridge Yacht Club. Led by Hal E. Wolfe and supported by Coral Ridge Properties, the Club was established on what was then known as Mud Lake Island. Through the dedication of its founding members, the land was transformed, memberships were secured, and construction of the first clubhouse began. By 1949, Coral Ridge Yacht Club officially opened its doors, creating a place where friendships, family traditions, and a shared love of boating could thrive. Growing with the Community As South Florida flourished, so did Coral Ridge Yacht Club. Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, the Club expanded its facilities, welcomed new generations of members, and continually invested in its future. New docks, a larger clubhouse, enhanced amenities, and a growing membership reflected the Club's commitment to providing an exceptional waterfront experience. In 1968, Coral Ridge Yacht Club proudly became the first yacht club on Florida's east coast to join the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs (FCYC), strengthening its place within Florida's boating community.

A Tradition of Progress Over the decades, Coral Ridge Yacht Club has continued to evolve while preserving the traditions that define it. From major clubhouse renovations and expanded marina facilities to family programs, waterfront dining, and modern amenities, each generation of members has invested in enhancing the Club for those who follow. Milestone anniversaries have celebrated not only the Club's achievements but also the dedication of the members whose generosity and volunteer spirit have shaped its success. Looking Ahead Today, Coral Ridge Yacht Club remains one of South Florida's premier private yacht clubs, bringing together generations of members through boating, dining, social events, and lifelong friendships. While much has changed since 1947, the Club's mission remains the same: to provide an exceptional experience on and off the water while honoring the traditions, camaraderie, and spirit established by its founders. As we proudly welcome the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs, we celebrate a legacy built over nearly eight decades—and look forward to the chapters still to come.
