CORAL RIDGE YACHT CLUB MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT A Standard of Excellence for Our Club and Community At Coral Ridge Yacht Club, we believe the true measure of a great club lies not only in its amenities, but in the character, civility, and mutual respect of its members. Each of us plays an important role in fostering a culture defined by integrity, inclusion, and courtesy. Membership is a privilege, not a right—and it invites each of us to uphold the Club’s values and community standards.
1. COMMITMENT TO A POSITIVE CLUB CULTURE Members are expected to support a warm, welcoming, and respectful environment for fellow members, guests, and staff. Every interaction—on or off the Club grounds—should reflect the spirit and values of Coral Ridge Yacht Club. We encourage all members to contribute to a constructive, uplifting atmosphere and to avoid conduct that may detract from others’ enjoyment of the Club.
2. RESPECT FOR ALL Our Club brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. Members must treat one another with kindness, respect, and dignity—regardless of differences in opinion. Harassment, discrimination, or inflammatory conduct of any kind will not be tolerated.
3. WELCOMING NEW MEMBERS Every member is encouraged to welcome and integrate new members into the Club’s social and recreational life. Fostering meaningful connections strengthens our sense of belonging and community.
4. RESPONSIBILITY FOR GUESTS Members are accountable for the behavior of their guests. Guests must comply with Club rules, etiquette, and dress codes. Positive guest experiences help strengthen the Club community, and members are expected to guide their guests in upholding Club standards.
5. COMMUNICATION AND FEEDBACK Feedback and concerns are welcome when expressed respectfully, privately, and constructively. • Concerns about Club operations, policies, or services should be directed to the General Manager or appropriate department head. When possible, suggested solutions should accompany any concerns raised. • Members should never reprimand, criticize, or debate issues directly with Club staff or other members.
