Equipment’s two-day Super Summit 2017 Show. The show has been one of the areas top rated for the past several years and after it’s move to the Summit Motorsports Park, its morphed into an event truly worthy of being SUPER! Super Summit featured a huge cruise-in with approximately 1,500+ cars that rolled in and out over the 2 day period, fun-runs, an autocross course, a cackle fest with cars of the Great Lakes Nostalgia Funny Car Circuit, a massive manufacturers’ midway and multiple commanding and car-crushing performances by Larry Swim and his Bigfoot Monster Truck!

Summit Motorsports Park
The massive manufacturers’ midway had products from approximately 150 companies, including Edelbrock, sponsor of the park’s Super Series, with experts on-hand to answer questions about their products and provide tech support. Summit Racing Equipment also offered discounts on orders placed during the event, and drawings for giftcards every hour at the Summit Racing Equipment trailer! All of that, and more, is on tap for next year’s event, which will be the fourth year in a row it has been held at Summit Motorsports Park. Here’s just a couple of pictures to give you an idea of the event. Summit Racing Equipment and Summit Motorsports Park have set the date for next year’s Super Summit car show. The annual event will be Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. Eastlake Blvd. of 500 Flags

E
very year there’s a special night in October when hundreds of kids and their parents get together at the Eastlake Boulevard of 500 Flags to celebrate Halloween! Hot rods (and their owners) from all over northern Ohio gather together loaded with bags and bags of candy to hand out to kids of all ages dressed in some really creative costumes. There... I guess that pretty much tells a fairly complete story! This all takes place at the Eastlake Boulevard of 500 Flags on Saturday, October 7th, 2017. (The rain date is Saturday, October 14th) As usual, cruisers should bring enough candy to hand out to at least 100+ kids in costumes anticipating a sugar high that would make your ears itch! In 2016 there were over 300 great kids that enjoyed cruisers’ generosity along with over 160 Classics and hot rods and rodders who made this all possible. Dash placques will be provided for the first 125 cars plus a 50/50 drawing and door prizes for the cruisers. All this is being made possible by the event sponsors, RTS Service Center, Bill Stark, Doug and LuLu Wagner and Mike and Debbie Peppard! Food vendors will be on site and DJ services will be provided by Steve! Times are from 3pm to 6pm. October 2017 ~ Cruisin’ Times 23
