Fusion Credit Union supports local infrastructure
A total of $65,500 was awarded across the region in the latest distribution of the Fusion Credit Union Full Circle Fund

Community projects in Hamiota, Inglis, Rossburn, and Russell, among others, were named as primary recipients in the latest distribution of the Fusion Credit Union Full Circle Fund.
A total of $65,500 was awarded across the region to support local infrastructure and community development.
The fund targeted initiatives designed to improve quality of life and strengthen community ties. In this intake, significant support was directed toward municipal renovations and agricultural society upgrades within these four key areas. Following a commitment to fair distribution, the funding was allocated to several local projects.
Hamiota was selected as a recipient community for local initiative support of $2,500 towards a storage shed at the Hamiota 55+ Centre, while Inglis Kids First Early Learning Centre received
$2,000 towards needed building maintenance. The Rossburn Ag Society was awarded $10,000 for grounds and building upgrades, and in Russell, the Municipality of Russell-Binscarth received $5,000 for community hall renovations.
Michelle Mazurkewich, Chief Strategy and Governance Officer at Fusion, said that as a member-
owned institution, these investments were fueled directly by the members.
“When you invest with Fusion, you’re not just investing in your financial future, you’re investing in your community,” Mazurkewich said.
