Occasions March Happiness!

Can you believe it is March already? 2022 is well underway. In a short couple of months there have been some amazing activities and new many new faces here at Crossroads. We enjoy being able to see the socialization and many friendships that have blossomed as a result. Spring is right around the corner, and with that comes bus rides, new events to experience, and even our long-awaited reconstruction of our courtyards! For our outdoor lovers, we have big plans to make our outdoor spaces more accessible and inviting. This “sprucing up” project is still in its early stage, but we hope to complete these by early summer. We want our residents to enjoy their home and fully enjoy both the indoor and outdoor spaces. We also invite families to come and visit their loved ones. Of course, things still look a little different because of Covid, but with our safety precautions in place, we still encourage our families to come visit and take loved ones on outings. Our seniors are loved deeply by all, and we want to take care of them in the safest way possible. Your Crossroads team is looking forward to this fun-filled year and wishes nothing but joy and happiness to all!

Maranatha’s in-country crew in Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast – Africa) continues to push the mission forward through church and school construction, and water well drilling. The team recently completed a church for the Amitié Seventh-day Adventist congregation, and members have already made bricks to construct the walls. The crew also built a structure for the Guezem Church. This community also has a new water well provided by Maranatha. Maranatha’s team is currently in the shop fabricating components for two more churches, which will bring our total number of churches in the country to 20.
