NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT As I write this letter, I’m in awe of the partnership, friendship and brotherhood that I have with each one of you who sacrificially gives of your time, resources, and heart for this mission. As this year winds, down I think of all that you and I have accomplished together and it motivates me to think of those that will greet you in heaven someday for your faith and action. It also thrills me to think of our father in heaven and his son Jesus the Christ and the Holy Spirit forming and fashioning a crown for you for that day that you stand before him. As you look at that crown, I’m sure that your evangelism and missions’ jewel in that crown is going to be outrageously beautiful.

As you know, we’ve started a new endeavor with the Mission Cry Bible both in English and now in Spanish. We’re having a great success as South and Central America are one of few places that we cannot send English to, and this has already been a very big blessing in both South and Central America.

You will read in this issue of the Mission Cry Magazine of the special OPs program that we did on the compound and near the compound of Osama bin Laden, on the borders of Pakistan and Afghanistan giving people the Word of God who in most cases make less than a dollar a day. You and I together are equipping people with the armor of God: the helmet of salvation and the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the belt of truth, the gospel shoes of peace, and above all the Word of God (sword of the Spirit). I mentioned that because you are creating and giving people the ability to have their faith built as they read the living Word of God. Those that have had family members martyred for the sake of being Christians have written or called me telling me that they have been encouraged by the Word of God, Bibles and seminary materials that they’ve received from you and I so that they may continue to evangelize. As always, I want you to know my staff and I pray every Thursday lifting up those that volunteer to this mission, who give of their gas, time, resources and talents. I’m expecting and believing God to move miraculously on your behalf. I pray that God this year would enlarge your territory, giving you the desires of your heart, bring healing and health to your family, and encourage you where there is discouragement. Remember we serve a mighty God. He has got you in the palm of his hand, he knows your name. OSAMA BIN LADEN COMPOUND OUTREACH Rev. Woolford, when preparing for a message recently, read an article on the infighting over the use of the compound where Osama Bin Laden was miraculously found and decimated by military forces in 2011. This is our story of how we are stepping in to claim that land back for Christ. This is our Mission Cry.

THE LAND

Rev. Jason Woolford thought of those that are believers in Christ Jesus but also those who are followers of the false religion of Islam. He prayed, “Lord God, that land, that dirt at the compound, is yours! It does not belong to satan or Osama bin Laden. It is yours and I want to take that area back for you, I want to send Bibles to the closest 500 houses surrounding the site.” We began to pray and plan. We reached out to our Pakistan missionary there, letting him know what our heart cry was for this land. We needed to claim it back and spread God’s Word! He came back to me a couple days later and said, “We’re in”. We gave 2,000 Bibles in total, not only there, but additionally reaching the bordering cities of Chaman and Quetta.

MISSION COMPLETED

100 Muslims began following Christ after receiving Bibles from Mission Cry near the compound. One woman (a follower of Islam) who had never looked at a Holy Bible in her life, looked and said, “I do not know the God of this book, but I need him!” She got saved! We want to thank you, because we know that this is a spiritual war, a war we will win, because of God Almighty and his people putting action with their faith. The Christians interacted with all people in the area, from older women to young boys, handing out Bibles and praying. The military came into the compound and told them that they needed to stop praying, as traditionally they were holding hands and praying. They stopped, but they continued to pray, walking that entire property, and the military left them alone. Think about those boys playing on the compound were saved as a result, and what the world was spared, due to the Good News. Please pray for these new believers in Abbottabad, Quetta, and Chaman. They live in a country very unfriendly to Christians and other religious minorities. Ask God to transform this area where violence and fear once ruled. Pray it would become a place of peace and wholeness.

Breaking Strongholds

IN MYANMAR

THE PROBLEM: Burma (currently Myanmar) is 80% Buddhist. There are approximately 10 million Christians there who cannot afford a Bible. With a recent overthrow of the government by the military, day to day life has changed drastically for the people here. Even food and water have become nearly impossible to find, and the military coup is pushing severe intimidation on the people who live here. Civilians are being killed as they choose to protest and stand up for their rights and for their country. Christians here are being labeled as having the “C” Virus. They are being made out as mentally insane after supposedly becoming infected with a virus that leads them to believe in God. 06

THE SOLUTION: This year We have sent nearly half a million dollars in Free Bibles and books to seminary students in Myanmar. Though we are seeing these tragic events unfold before our eyes, Mission Cry has been able to get into some of the most devastated areas of the country and infiltrate it with the Word of God. These people are receiving hope in Christ! Even through this chaos, we’ve had an open door where we haven’t in a long time. Christians are asking us for more Bibles! Pray! We need you to pray. Pray these Bibles will lead many people to the love of Jesus, And pray the love of Christians in Myanmar would serve as a beacon of hope for the whole country.

The Bibles we sent to Pakistan went to a missionary on the ground who passed them out to the 500 homes nearest the compound where Osama bin Laden was captured.

While Christianity is the largest religious group in Ecuador, there is still a problem with violence. Recently, Ecuador saw the largest prison riot in history, where over 100 inmates were massacred. With your help, we are able to share God’s Word here!

We have sent two containers to India this year, focusing on Odisha state. This area has seen violent Hindu extremism for decades. Mission Cry is partnering with pastors here to develop seminaries.

So far in 2021, we have sent two containers to Tanzania, one to Ethiopia, one to Sudan, and one to Nigeria. In each of these countries we continue to have opportunties to minister to the lost.

For the third year in a row, we were able to send Bibles to Guadalajara, and minister in some of the darkest parts of the country.

While our focus typically centers around sending Bibles overseas, we have had opportunities to minister stateside as well. We recently sent Bibles to be handed out to imigrants at the border wall.

We have had incredible opportunities to minister in the Middle East this year. God has opened the door for us to pass out Bibles around Osama bin Laden’s compound, and bring hope where there is much unrest.
