Fort Campbell AUSA & Clarksville Sunset Rotary host the Tour de Campbell by Allisha Lee The Association of the United States Army (AUSA) - Fort Campbell Chapter will host several events to celebrate the 241st birthday of the United States Army beginning June 3 through June 14, including the Tour de Campbell, an Eagle Challenge Fitness Tour event. The chapter, along with the Clarksville Sunset Rotary Club, will continue the tradition of the Tour de Campbell bike ride on June 11. This event will begin at the Smokehaus and will feature several ride lengths and a reduced rate for E1-E4 Soldiers. The AUSA - Fort Campbell Chapter has a long-standing relationship with Fort Campbell community. AUSA is the silent support and voice for the Army. Nationally, the association stands ready to speak out on all issues that affect the Army Family including active duty Soldiers, Families, and Retirees.

New Location - One Stop - ACS by Rebecca Mastrian
Why did ACS Move? Our goal for the past several years has been to consolidate our programs into one facility make us a one-stop shop for the Soldiers and Families. The new location in the Town Center area puts us within walking distance of the Commissary, Soldier Support Center, Library, the Exchange,t and other services.
How was the move conducted? Services continued throughout the move. Our ACS Chief focused on the details of the move while the rest of the staff focused on providing services to our customers. Each program that was moving had a few staff members move at a time to the new location to ensure a smooth transition.
Are all ACS Programs at the new building? Several ACS programs will not be making the move to the new locations because they already have facilities tailored to the customer's needs. Mobilization & Deployment will remain at the Family Resource Center (FRC) to facilitate the large pre-deployment and reintegration briefings as well as the Family Readiness Group (FRG) trainings. The Soldier & Family Assistance Center (SFAC) is housed in a building designed specifically for wounded, injured and seriously ill Soldiers and their Families. Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) recently moved into their current location of 5001 Screaming Eagle Drive.

Too Much Sun is No Fun! by Jenelle Grewell
When I was younger, my mother used to tell me my freckles were “angel kisses� and while this helped me learn to be confident in them, as I got older I learned just how much more susceptible I am to sun damage. I was a lifeguard for many, many years so sun safety is something I know a lot about and I cannot stress enough just how important it is to take the right steps to prevent sun damage.
