MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL

It is with pride and distinction that we recognise the achievements of Cranbrook’s Class of 2025.

The cohort has, once again, excelled across both the Higher School Certificate (HSC) and the IB Diploma Programme, with the highest results on record to date across both academic pathways demonstrating the breadth and depth of talent at Cranbrook School.

The results are a tremendous credit to our students who have worked with diligence, resilience and grit, as well as a strong sense of collegiality and support for one another. This graduating cohort has achieved exceptional outcomes that reflect not only their individual talents, but also the determination, passion and perseverance they have demonstrated across their academic and co-curricular pursuits.

We also congratulate Charles Cox who has achieved this year’s HSC Dux with an ATAR of 99.75 and Carson Proutt who has been named as Proxime Accessit of the HSC programme with an ATAR of 99.7. Special commendation goes to Thomas Williams for being a HSC Top Achiever in Mathematics Standard and achieving 4th in State. Congratulations to Sam Collison and Elliot Lindley who are our joint IBDP Dux, achieving an impressive 43.5 of a possible 45 (“ATAR equivalent” of 99.25), and to Louis Gordon for being named IBDP Proxime Accessit.

The calibre of accomplishment within the Class of 2025 is evident in the remarkable number of entries on the HSC Distinguished Achievers List, with 109 students listed, and 29 nominations for NESA Exhibitions and Showcases.

These highlights are only a snapshot of our students’ achievements, and our pride in the Class of 2025 extends far beyond academic accomplishment. The year group’s indomitable Cranbrook spirit, intellectual curiosity, and strong moral foundation has been so inspirational and reflects the enduring values that define our school. We celebrate them for their character, unique strengths, and the enduring positive legacy they leave through their individual and collective contribution to our Cranbrook community.

The continued success of the HSC and IB programmes are strengthened by the extraordinary support of our outstanding teaching and non-teaching staff who go above and beyond in their endeavours. Their unwavering commitment, expertise and care have been instrumental in guiding our students towards personal excellence.

MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF SENIOR SCHOOL

Congratulations to the Class of 2025 on their exceptional HSC and IB Diploma Programme results.

It is important to reflect on an impressive cohort and their wonderful achievements throughout their journey at Cranbrook, which has culminated in their academic successes in both the IBDP and HSC programmes.

The achievements of our students have been extremely impressive this year. The overall results and their personal accomplishments are a testament to what can be achieved when students are supported to reach their potential across a wide spectrum of talents in a learning environment that values every individual. As a non-selective School, we have a rich and diverse student body which reflects the world beyond our gates.

With the Class of 2025 achieving the highest academic results on record to date at Cranbrook, these remarkable results are the product of hard work and focused efforts in both class and in personal time to correct drafts, sit past examination papers and refine responses to challenging questions. Much of the work that goes into achieving the highest scores is the study that occurs in their own time with the grit and determination to earn every mark possible.

As a School, we pride ourselves on educating the whole student and I am thrilled that the cohort embraced this philosophy superbly. Throughout their journey at Cranbrook, students have discovered new passions and expanded their horizons, inspired by the rich and diverse academic and cocurricular opportunities that Cranbrook has provided.

Across all areas of School life, our students have led the community and its culture with integrity, purpose, and exceptional leadership, while simultaneously navigating the demands of their final examinations with courage and determination.
