Since 2014, the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland (DCCoI) has been working closely with the Department of Business Enterprise and Innovation (DBEI) and Enterprise Ireland (EI) to develop Ireland’s design capacity, capability and infrastructure. Building on the Design4Growth Pilot Programme in 2016, DCCoI together with the five Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs) in the South-East Region: Carlow, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford and Wexford, worked with Targeting Innovation Ltd. and Dolmen (the Programme Delivery Team) to deliver the Design4Growth programme to meet the needs of 10 micro and small business owners in the South-East of Ireland.
