YEARS

MEDITERRANEAN COSMOS

Two decades filled with smiles, moments, and experiences that brought us together.

For twenty years, Mediterranean Cosmos has been far more than just a shopping centre. It is a vibrant part of Thessaloniki, deeply connected to the city’s philosophy: hospitality, warmth, and authenticity.

From the very first day of its operation, it became a landmark of the city’s life—a meeting place where we share moments and create memories we return to again and again. Every visit becomes an experience: from shopping and dining to entertainment and family activities that make every moment special.

As part of the celebrations marking its 0th anniversary, art found its place at the entrance of the shopping center. Renowned street artist Marios Simopoulos (SIMO) created a landmark mural that reflects the center’s identity, and invites everyone to celebrate the small moments that brings us together.

On Friday, November 1 , 0 , we celebrated the anniversary together with a spectacular Grand Cosmos Party filled

Vanilla The Band set the tone with an explosive live performance, while a dazzling Christmas parade marked the beginning of the most magical season of the year. It was a celebration dedicated to our people—to all of you who make Mediterranean Cosmos an integral part of the city.

During the holiday season, in collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages, every visit became an act of giving, supporting the Thessaloniki Center for Learning and Educational Support through the creation of an annual art workshop and the provision of its needs.

With 00 stores, more than 30 dining options, cinemas, and entertainment spaces, Mediterranean Cosmos remains remains a favorite all-day destination.

The World of Givenchy Women

In the Chinese zodiac, 0 6 belongs to the Year of the Fire Horse, a particularly dynamic sign that appears every 60 years. The occasion is celebrated by the world’s leading watchmakers with the release of a series of collectible, striking timepieces in shades of red, decorated with classic or unconventional horse motifs and precious details in enamel, mother-of-pearl, and gold.

The renowned American photographer Annie Leibovitz appears as a model in the new campaign by Sarah Burton, creative director of Givenchy, alongside Kaia Gerber, artist Isabelle Albuquerque, and other models.

In the campaign titled The Portrait Series III, where black dominates with striking red and metallic green accents, Burton’s “muses” come together once again, with their roles intertwining and being intriguingly redefined.

This is the first exhibition dedicated to the Antwerp Six, the group of Belgian designers whose radical vision shook the fashion world in the late 19 0s. Composed exclusively of graduates from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp – such as Ann Demeulemeester, Dries Van Noten, and Walter Van Beirendonck – the group captivated audiences and critics alike, drawing the industry’s attention to a city that had previously been off the fashion map. Discipline

In a new short film for Miu Miu, Norwegian director Mona Fastvold uses marionettes to “paint” a surreal portrait of girlhood. The film, titled “Discipline,” explores the contrast between the inner self and the image we present to others, and was created as part of Women’s Tales – Miu Miu’s project inviting pioneering female directors to interpret contemporary female identity.

The acclaimed exhibition organized by London’s Victoria & Albert Museum arrives in Paris after stops in countries such as Australia, Canada, and the United States. The exhibition presents a different vision of fashion, reminding us that clothing is more than ornamentation; it is a shared language, an “armor,” and a bridge between generations. It offers African fashion the opportunity to shine in the global capital of haute couture, through a dialogue between the museum’s historic collections and contemporary trends. “Less I, More Us”

Maria Grazia Chiuri made her debut at Milan Fashion Week with the Fendi Fall Winter 0 6 collection, returning to the house where she began her career as an accessories designer in 1999.

The collection draws inspiration from Art Deco, defined by sensual elegance, a monochrome palette, and a strong emphasis on accessories— where the brand’s logo appears discreetly. With the show’s motto, “Less I, More Us,” the designer seeks to challenge the notion of the all-powerful creative director and instead highlight the value of collaboration

The renowned German company Birkenstock collaborates with New York–based bridal designer Danielle Frankel Hirsch to launch a capsule collection of anatomically shaped sandals in a romantic spirit, featuring satin, chiffon, and pearl details. A charming proposal for modern couples opting for a less formal wedding ceremony, greater comfort, and accessories that can be worn time and time again. The collection is available at the Birkenstock 1 and Danielle Frankel e-shops, as well as in selected stores worldwide.

HIGH FASHION MADE FROM THE ORDINARY

JW ANDERSON

TAKING ON THE ROLE OF CREATIVE DIRECTOR AT DIOR DOES NOT FEEL LIKE THE PEAK OF ONATHAN WILLIAM ANDERSON’S CAREER. RATHER, IT MARKS ANOTHER CHAPTER IN A CREATIVE OURNEY THAT IS CLEARLY AT ITS HEIGHT.

At 0, the Irish designer and founder of the eponymous brand W Anderson has already secured his place in the pantheon of contemporary fashion. Known for his ability to transform the everyday into the desirable and the simple into a high-aesthetic statement, he has built a personal brand with a strong identity and international influence.

After a long and highly impactful tenure as creative director of the Spanish house Loewe, Anderson takes the helm of Christian Dior in 0 —a move that not only confirms his talent but also signals an exciting new era for the historic Maison.

Born in Magherafelt in 19 , Anderson grew up in Northern Ireland during the period known as the Troubles, while also spending significant time in Ibiza. As he has noted, these two contrasting environments played a defining role in shaping his aesthetic. He recalls childhood images of “trapped cars and cities exploding,” explaining that although frightening for a child, the experience made him resilient. He was diagnosed with dyslexia in primary school.

At 1 , he moved to the United States to study acting at the uilliard School in New York, but fashion design ultimately won him over. He returned to Dublin to work at the Brown Thomas department store, then relocated to London, graduating from the London College of Fashion in 00 .

He began his career as a visual merchandiser for Prada under the mentorship of Manuela Pavesi. In 00 , he launched his first menswear collection under the W Anderson label to critical acclaim, and in 010 he presented his first runway show at London Fashion Week.

His success led to a collaboration with Topshop in 01 , which sold out within hours. In 013, Donatella Versace selected him to design for Versus, and shortly afterward LVMH acquired a minority stake in W Anderson and appointed him creative director of Loewe. By 019, Anderson was designing 1 collections a year across his own brand, Loewe, and Uniqlo.

Following an eleven-year tenure at Loewe, he departed the Spanish house in March 0 . Only a month later, he was appointed Creative Director of Dior’s menswear, eventually expanding his role to oversee womenswear and haute couture as well.

Known for an intellectual, often unisex and surreal approach—from 3D-printed tops to “grandmother” wigs—Anderson masterfully balances artistic haute couture with viral moments driven by pop culture.

As creative director, he revitalized Loewe by blending bold colors with surreal and unconventional silhouettes, transforming the house into a contemporary powerhouse.

Often described as the “master of discomfort,” Anderson merges high art with everyday objects, creating iconic pieces such as the Puzzle bag and the Vogue-famous “broken egg” heels.

Through his personal label W Anderson, founded in 00 , he has consistently pushed boundaries with gender-defying conceptual collections and high-profile collaborations, including partnerships with Topshop and Converse.

He was also responsible for Rihanna’s memorable 0 3 Super Bowl appearance, featuring a red jumpsuit and leather corset that highlighted her pregnancy.

A multiple recipient of Fashion Awards, Anderson has been recognized for his prolific contribution to both menswear and womenswear.

FASHION TRENDS

SPRING-SUMMER 2026

REAL HOUSEWIVES

On the opposite end of the glamorous “Mob Wives” aesthetic of previous seasons, the new trend—sparked by Miu Miu’s refined work-apron reinterpretations—draws inspiration from traditional female roles, reimagined through a contemporary lens.

PUFF SKIRTS

This season’s exaggeratedly voluminous skirts in tulle, organza, or taffeta pair perfectly with simple tops or crisp shirts.

TOP PRIORITY

The bra worn as a top— under sheer layers, beneath blazers and shirts, or fully visible— dominates the spring collections.

TOUCH - ME TEXTURES

This season’s most eyecatching garments feature rich boucl textures, silky fringes, and feathers, inviting us to rediscover the power of touch alongside sight.

“ELEGANCE IS NOT STANDING OUT, BUT BEING REMEMBERED.”
Giorgio Armani

HEMLINE IN MOTION

A trend from the early 000s, asymmetric hemlines are making a comeback, adding fluid movement and airy elegance to dresses and skirts.

THE GREATNESS OF SELF-ACCEPTANCE

MODEL, ACTRESS, PRESENTER, ENTREPRENEUR, AND MOTHER, VICKY KAYA STANDS OUT IN EVERY ROLE SHE TAKES ON, PROVING THAT SELF-ACCEPTANCE IS THE MOST MEANINGFUL FORM OF STRENGTH. WITH A LONG AND REMARKABLE CAREER IN FASHION AND BUSINESS, AND WHILE FULLY DEDICATED TO CREATING THE SPRING COLLECTION OF HER BRAND, GREATNESS ATHENS, SHE SPEAKS ABOUT THE VALUE OF GROWTH, THE BOUNDARIES SHE HAS LEARNED TO SET, AND HER PHILOSOPHY ON BEAUTY AND AUTHENTICITY.

You’ve had an impressive professional journey. Which e periences do you feel shaped you the most?

The negative ones – the failures, the moments when I thought I wouldn’t make it and felt I was one step away from giving up. Those are the experiences that truly shape you, make you stronger, and teach you lessons that help you move forward.

eyond modeling, you’ve worked in theater, film, and television. What “tools” from your modeling e perience did you carry into those fields?

If you pursue modeling professionally, I believe there’s nothing you can’t do. In modeling, you learn to follow concepts and collaborate within teams – you are constantly reshaped into something different. It’s like a boot camp and a very strong jump start. From there, if you want to move into another field, you need to hold on to those tools, but also break down your ego and everything you think you know. You have to start from scratch and follow new directions, willing to become better.

So, you believe it’s important to remain open to new knowledge...

It’s essential. Without that mindset, you can’t evolve. You carry your experience with you, but you keep learning –with humility and without ego.

And then came the launch of your own clothing brand. What is the philosophy behind reatness Athens?

I believe that right now Athens is one of the most dynamic and creative destinations internationally. Over the past three years, I’ve felt this energy intensely, and two years

ago it inspired me to create a brand centered around the city itself. Greatness Athens is for people who live in Athens – regardless of origin or social identity – creative individuals with dreams and a vibrant everyday life. It’s a unisex, inclusive brand that combines authenticity and style, with Athens at its core. Today, the city attracts people from all over the world who choose to live and create here, while still remaining deeply connected to its history and cultural heritage. My love for Athens was the driving force behind Greatness Athens. I chose to return to my city and felt it was important to create a contemporary Athenian brand with international appeal – one that expresses its spirit and speaks to everyone.

And it reflects your personal style as well... It does. My personal style is cool and casual, with flexibility that allows for multiple combinations. The pieces are designed to adapt easily to any occasion, whether relaxed or more refined. They can be styled in countless ways – from sporty and denim looks to more tailored choices. The philosophy is for clothing to function as an extension of one’s identity. We also placed great emphasis on the collection’s color palette. Burnt orange evokes the Athenian sunset, while the different shades of blue reflect the sky and the sea. The research behind the colors was inspired not only by the landscape, but also by the people who live in the city today. Modern Athens is multicultural and multidimensional, with people from different countries, cultures, and religions who now form an integral part of its identity. This diversity and the city’s daily pulse are embedded in the brand’s DNA.

What does “making it” mean to you today?

To be healthy, grounded, and to have quality in my life. Everything else is secondary.

In recent years, you consciously stepped away from television because you felt you were losing yourself in it. Was it always easy for you to set boundaries?

Not at all. I constantly pushed beyond my limits for the sake of the team or the project, and I lost sight of Vicky. When I became a mother, I realized I couldn’t keep sabotaging myself like that. When there are people in your life who need you, you can’t afford to lose yourself – your beliefs and your values. And those people have names: my son, my daughter, and my husband.

So your family helped you redefine your priorities?

Exactly. For me, a prerequisite in every aspect of life is being able to be myself. Otherwise, I can’t be a good mother, partner, or professional. If I can’t express my truth – if I have to self-censor or constantly operate with caution – then the balance is lost. When the people around you don’t recognize your sincerity or the way you function, it’s very difficult to build meaningful collaboration. Also, in fields like fashion or television, you need to express emo -

tion and creativity. Without those elements, I don’t see how you can exist in creative spaces. What fuels you mentally and emotionally to keep going?

Growth. I can’t live without evolving. If you don’t change, if you don’t dare, if you don’t take risks – if you don’t embrace change – I don’t know how you can grow. You’ve spoken openly about your choice not to alter your face. How does that decision connect to your philosophy of acceptance?

I don’t judge or comment on other people’s personal choices, but I choose to face time with acceptance. I acknowledge the phase of life I’m in. I will never be again – I was once. Now I’m . That doesn’t mean I don’t take care of myself – I care for my skin, I do treatments, mesotherapy. However, I don’t feel the need to intervene drastically in the natural course of time. My wrinkles reflect my experiences and everything I’ve achieved so far. Why would I take an eraser and wipe out my life? Also, as a mother, I don’t find it natural for my 11-year-old daughter to have marks on her face while I stand next to her without a single wrinkle. For me, the essence lies in self-care, proper nutrition, and striving to become the best version of ourselves.

So, what does beauty mean to you?

Beauty comes from within and is reflected outward. However, nowadays and especially through social media, an idealized and altered image of beauty is often promoted –based on filters and digital editing. This constructed perfection can create unrealistic standards, particularly for younger women, because it doesn’t reflect reality. There are women, however, like Gwyneth Paltrow and Christy Turlington, who consciously choose to maintain their natural selves, and that reflects a deeper level of self-acceptance. I believe the essence of beauty lies in growth and balance. Time only moves forward, and the goal is to preserve our energy, clarity of thought, and emotional integrity.

And if you had to give just one piece of advice to women chasing their dreams today?

Never give up on your dreams or the fight – no matter what others say or do. Keep going!

INSIDE THE WORLD OF HAUTE

COUTURE

VIKTOR ROLF DIOR

HFROM CHANEL AND DIOR TO SCHIAPARELLI AND VIKTOR & ROLF, IN 0 6 HAUTE COUTURE REMAINS THE ULTIMATE FORM OF ART.

Haute couture is not simply a category of clothing; it is a living tradition that connects art with the mastery of craftsmanship. Its origins date back to the mid-19th century in Paris, when British designer Charles Frederick Worth—considered the “father” of haute couture—established one of the first ateliers and created custom garments for an elite clientele. Haute couture quickly became synonymous with luxury and individuality, as high-society women sought unique pieces tailored to their silhouette, tastes, and personalities.

The concept of haute couture extends far beyond aesthetics. It is a ritual that combines imagination, technical mastery, and precision. Each dress or suit requires dozens to hundreds of hours of work by artisans whose skills—such as tailoring, embroidery, draping, and hand embellishment—are

often passed down through generations. This devotion to the craft of clothing distinguishes haute couture from pr t-porter fashion, which is mass-produced and designed for transient life cycles.

The importance of haute couture is not confined to the past. Today, it stands as a symbol of cultural heritage and a living bridge between fashion history and contemporary trends. Fashion houses such as Chanel, Dior, Armani, Valentino, Schiaparelli, and Viktor & Rolf keep this tradition alive, foregrounding craftsmanship and creativity unconstrained by purely commercial demands. Their latest collections, recently unveiled during Paris Haute Couture Week, differ in style yet share a common respect for the art of garment-making and a capacity to tell stories through fabric and form.

This year’s Haute Couture Fashion Week revealed a striking interplay between minimalism and theatricality. Irish designer onathan Anderson unveiled his first haute couture collection for Dior Spring Summer 0 6 at the Mus e Rodin, rich in references to the house’s history, emotion, and imagination. Daniel Roseberry for Schiaparelli upheld the brand’s surrealist legacy with dramatic imagery and intricate embroidery. Valentino adopted a more restrained, almost cinematic approach, reviving archival elements, while

Haute couture is a living art that honors fashion s history evolves with ti e and continues to inspire aesthetics creativity and innovation.

Viktor & Rolf presented creations conceived as pure artistic expressions designed for stage impact. On a contrasting note, Silvana Armani—niece of the legendary Giorgio Armani—introduced her first Armani Priv collection, featuring more accessible pieces such as suits and dresses that merge feminine elegance with practicality, demonstrating that haute couture can be both artistic and wearable.

The week also marked Matthieu Blazy’s first haute couture collection for Chanel—one of the most anticipated moments of the season. As only the fourth creative leader in Chanel’s 116-year history, his debut represented a significant milestone. Rather than approaching it with excessive solemnity, Blazy embraced imagination, playfulness, and a fairy-tale sensibility.

Many question the relevance of haute couture in the 1st century, when fashion moves at lightning speed and the pr t- -porter industry dominates global markets. The answer lies in haute couture’s role as a laboratory of innovation. Techniques developed for couture collections often filter into mass production, enriching the industry with new fabrics and ideas. At the same time, haute couture keeps fashion closely tied to art, reminding us that clothing is not merely functional but a powerful medium of expression.

Haute couture is also a space where cultural heritage and contemporary creativity intersect. Designs frequently reference historical influences—such as Christian Dior’s classic silhouettes, Schiaparelli’s experimentation, or Viktor & Rolf’s avant-garde structures—while integrating modern aesthetic explorations. This dialogue between tradition and innovation keeps haute couture vibrant and relevant, regardless of shifting trends.

At its core lies uniqueness. Each couture garment is created for a single individual, tailored precisely to her proportions and preferences, resulting in a deeply personal creation. This care and attention to detail elevate haute couture beyond luxury; it becomes an art form that connects history, creativity, and the social dimension of fashion.

Haute couture is not merely a niche trend or a product for a select few. It is a living art that honors fashion’s history, evolves with time, and continues to inspire aesthetics, creativity, and innovation. This year’s collections from the great houses reaffirm that even in a world dominated by fast fashion, haute couture remains unmatched in value and significance—reminding us that true beauty requires time, skill, and vision.

Where clean lines meet or anic te tures.

THE FOUNDERS OF CALLISTA, ELENI KONSTANTINIDOU AND CELIA SIGALOU, SPEAK TO US ABOUT THE INSPIRATION AND DEDICATION THEY POUR INTO EVERY BAG. HANDCRAFTED IN ATHENS, THEIR CREATIONS COMBINE STYLE, PRACTICALITY, AND GREEK CRAFTSMANSHIP— QUALITIES CHERISHED BY FASHION LOVERS AROUND THE WORLD.

What does allista propose for the new season?

The SS 0 6 collection draws inspiration from the timeless strength of natural materials and handcrafted creation. Each leather bag is designed with a balance between structure and softness—where clean lines meet organic textures. The color palette moves through earthy tones combined with warm oranges, muted greens, and subtle olive hues, reflecting the natural elegance of leather. Standout pieces include designs that combine straw and leather, while sandals—the protagonists of the summer season—complete the collection.

How do you translate international trends into your own timeless style?

Our philosophy is to create objects with an aesthetic that does not depend on seasonal trends. We follow international trends, but we incorporate them subtly into our own language—leather. For example, our Fall 0 collection featured earthy tones and suede textures aligned with trends, yet it reintroduced beloved designs in new shades, proving that a piece can remain modern without radical change. We translate trends into refined interventions in color and materials, without altering our clean lines and timeless identity.

Your brand is based on handcrafted production. How challenging is that in reece?

Handcrafting is Callista’s DNA. Each bag requires dozens of hours of work; some designs demand more than 9 0 stitches and 3 6 knots. Maintaining this level of craftsmanship is not easy, as skilled artisans are becoming fewer and training new ones is time-consuming. When we started, we faced shortages of raw materials and craftsmen due to the economic crisis. Today, we operate our own workshop in Athens with 6 collaborators and invest in training younger women to pass on knowledge and keep production in Greece.

What does “ ade in reece” mean to you, and how does the reek element influence your collections?

“Made in Greece” is a way of life. The name Callista—derived from the ancient Greek word kallos (beauty)—reminds us that beauty and perfection are deeply rooted in Greek culture. All our bags are designed and produced in our Athens atelier by Greek artisans. The Greek element inspires our collections, such as the “Pougki 1 1,” inspired by the traditional Evzone uniform. We use colors reminiscent of Greek light, stone, and sea, and clean lines that echo Greek architecture. We want to show internationally that Greece produces authentic luxury.

Where do you draw inspiration from?

From our travels, art, architecture, and above all, from the women who carry our bags. We study their lifestyles and needs to design versatile pieces. We often seek customer feedback and transform it into new designs. The Greek landscape inspires us through its textures. Leather is our language—we select hides with character and allow the material to guide the form.

eauty and perfection are deeply rooted in ree culture.

any international celebrities have carried allista bags even ueen amilla. How important is such recognition for a brand?

It is a great honor when internationally recognized figures choose our bags, as it helps introduce Callista to a wider audience. These moments bring visibility and pride to our team, but they are not our ultimate goal. We create for all women, and every woman who appreciates handcrafted quality is our muse.

What has been the greatest challenge you faced as women entrepreneurs in fashion?

Callista was founded during the economic crisis, making it difficult to secure raw materials and skilled artisans. At the same time, as entrepreneurs, we had to prove we could manage a workshop with international standards, balance professional and family responsibilities, and claim equal opportunities in a field often led by men. The greatest challenge was staying true to our values and building a sustainable business model rooted in craftsmanship.

How do you see the evolution of reek fashion internationally in recent years?

We are optimistic. Greece exports not only ideas but also expertise. Designers now present their work at international exhibitions, and the Greek element is increasingly valued as something distinctive. Through our collections, we see that in -

ternational audiences appreciate authenticity and the narrative behind each piece. Greek fashion has much to offer, provided it remains committed to quality and is supported by institutions and consumers alike.

What role do sustainability and material uality play in your collections?

Sustainability is non-negotiable for us. True luxury lies in care and longevity, not in constant replacement. We collaborate exclusively with leather suppliers who meet EU environmental and ethical standards. We offer repair and restoration services so customers can give their bags a second life. At the same time, we explore more environmentally friendly materials and aim to fully implement sustainable collections in the future.

What is the ne t big step for allista?

In the coming years, we aim to continue growing without compromising our identity. We have already expanded into France and the United States, and we plan to strengthen our e-commerce platform, open new boutiques in selected cities, and collaborate with international designers. At the same time, we are developing a fully sustainable line and new accessories, while investing further in artisan training to keep Greek craftsmanship alive.

TikTok remains the fastest generator of beauty trends in our time. Yet among countless viral hacks and short-lived obsessions, only a few stand the test of time and prove genuinely useful. We ve singled out three beauty trends that have moved beyond the hype and earned a permanent place in our beauty bags—not because they became popular, but because they truly work.

COLLAGEN MASKS THAT ACTUALLY DELIVER ON THEIR PROMISES

Collagen sheet masks—most notably the viral Biodance mask—have revived the idea of an instant skin boost. The skin appears plumper, brighter, and more rested, making them an ideal solution before important events or whenever the complexion needs a quick reset.

BEAUTY MEETS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Beauty in the age of AI is being redefined. It is no longer only about trends and products, but about data, personalization, and technology that adapts to our real needs.

SKINCARE,

SMARTER SKINCARE, MORE TARGETED CHOICES

From skin analysis through apps to virtual try-ons for makeup and hair, artificial intelligence helps us make more informed decisions. Less trial and error, more precision. Skincare becomes more personalized, and beauty routines more effective.

HOW BEAUTY TRENDS ARE BORN TODAY

AI has also transformed the way we discover products and trends. Algorithms “read” our habits and suggest content and brands that match our personal style, while social media functions as a real-time beauty laboratory.

APPS THAT “READ” THE SKIN

Skin analysis apps are one of the most practical applications of AI in skincare. Through a simple photo, they assess the skin’s needs and recommend personalized products and routines. The result is less confusion, more targeted care, and a beauty routine based on real data.

THE FUTURE OF BEAUTY IS PERSONAL

Beauty in the age of AI is not becoming more impersonal—it is becoming more human. When artificial intelligence is used thoughtfully, it becomes a tool for care, self-awareness, and personal expression. And that may be the most meaningful beauty evolution of all.

hen artificial intelli ence is used thou htfully it eco es a tool for care self awareness and personal e pression.

THE BEAUTY BEYOND TRENDS

SOUZANA KEGGITSI IS ONE OF THE WOMEN WHO HAVE CLOSELY CONNECTED THEIR NAME WITH THE MODERN BEAUTY WORLD IN GREECE.

With years of experience in magazines, a dynamic presence in digital content, and her own brand Hey,Beauty! she continues to inspire women to discover the most beautiful version of themselves. Throughout her journey, she has built a career based on authenticity, quality, and an honest relationship with her audience.

Did you always imagine the career you have today?

What advice would you give to your younger self?

If we’re talking about little Souzana, I was a typical tomboy. To give you an idea,I straightened my hair for the first time in middle school because my sister insisted it would look good on me. I preferred playing with my friends and my cousin rather than dealing with nails, hair, or makeup.

But sometime after the age of fifteen, something started to change inside me. During my teenage years I began dressing up, taking care of myself, and flipping through magazines. That’s when I realized I had a creative side and that I wanted to do something that would allow me to express myself. I didn’t know exactly what it would be, but I was fascinated by the world of fashion and magazines.

So I decided to study journalism with the goal of working for a fashion magazine. I started at ELLE, writing about fashion exactly as I had imagined. Until one day my editor suggested that I also write about beauty.

During the financial crisis, when fashion events and launches

SOUZANA KEGGITSI

became more limited, I gradually turned more toward the beauty industry—a field that, as I was told at the time, never stops evolving. And they were right. I started writing my first beauty articles and quickly realized that this world had won me over. What fascinated me most was the scientific background behind every product. When you speak with researchers and people working in brand laboratories and begin to understand how a cosmetic product is created, you realize that it’s a world of innovation and progress that often even touches the field of medicine. That is something that still fascinates me today. If I could give advice to my younger self, it would be simple: “Trust the process.”

Trust the journey. At the beginning of my career, whenever a professional opportunity appeared, I tried to explore and experience it. I never said “this isn’t for me” before understanding it. That’s how I gained experiences and knowledge that shaped me. If I had insisted back then on working only in fashion, I probably wouldn’t be doing what I do today.

What differences do you see between your work then and now?

When I first started, traditional media had a very different prestige. Television and magazines had great influence, while websites were just beginning to develop. Information was presented more analytically and people took time to read an article or watch a video.

Today, on social media, everything moves much faster. Information is condensed and consumed within seconds. On the one hand, you can quickly discover many new things; on the other, the depth of knowledge is often lost. Personally, I believe that the more you know about a product or a field, the better you can evaluate it and share your experience with authenticity. Have your relationships with brands changed over the years?

My relationships with brands have always been based on mutual respect. We evolve together and if at some point we realize there is no longer a common direction or vision, the collaboration simply comes to an end.

My way of working is very people-centered. I deeply respect the people who have followed me for so many years and I would never do anything that would betray that relationship of trust. I want to truly love a product before presenting it—to use it myself and feel that it deserves to be loved by my audience as well.

Do you think there is competition in the beauty content space?

The beauty industry has become much more competitive in recent years. There are many launches and many creators with excellent ideas.

However, in my own generation I never felt intense competition because everyone worked in their own way. Today there are more specific content formats, and sometimes I miss the uniqueness that existed in the past. Still, if I see something that resembles one of my ideas, I take it as a compliment—it means I may have inspired someone.

The most important thing on social media is to remain authentic and true to your identity. Then you will always stand out.

What is your main source of inspiration?

I’m inspired by everyday life: a quiet day at home, a conversation with friends or my sisters, or a coffee with people I love. Trends that appear for just a few hours don’t inspire me as much.

Lip ellies & Hair Clips—to give to anyone who wants to try them!

I prefer images and aesthetics: a beautiful film, an art exhibition, or even scrolling through Pinterest—always in moderation, of course.

Is there a beauty trick that “saves” you on a difficult day?

If I need a quick makeup look, I choose a navy blue smokey eye with shadow and eyeliner. It takes three minutes and gives the impression of professional makeup.

What is your favorite beauty trend right now and one you would never follow?

I really love the clean girl makeup trend, but I’m also happy that we’re returning to more intense looks. Glowing skin combined with bold eyes, smokey and dramatic makeup.

After the quarantine period we had somewhat forgotten that aesthetic, and now I feel it’s making a strong comeback. In general, I never categorically say “no” to a trend. I prefer to try it and keep what suits me.

What truly makes you happy in your everyday life?

My happiness lies in simple moments: my home, my partner, and my dogs. I love spending time at home because that’s where I truly feel calm.

What does success mean to you?

For me, success is first and foremost about human relationships. Through my work I have met people who became real friends, and that is very important. As you grow older, you realize that none of these things are guaranteed. On a professional level, my brand Hey,Beauty! brings me great joy. Every time I see our products, I feel proud because I know how much work and how many trials are behind them. For example, our Lip elly products were quite innovative when we launched them, and I’m happy people embraced them. I want every product to have its own personality and not resemble anything else.

BIO HACKING IN AESTHETIC MEDICINE

O T N A O NTI

B A T I T AN O IN A T TIC ICIN

Biohacking in aesthetic medicine is one of the most dynamic trends gaining increasing traction not only in the wellness sector but also in the clinical practice of aesthetic medicine. Although the two concepts originate from different fields—the first from a broader philosophy of optimizing human biology and the second from the medical science focused on improving appearance—they are now beginning to intersect and complement one another in a scientifically grounded way.

BIO AC IN IN A T TIC ICIN AT O IT AN IN ACTIC

The term biohacking refers to practices aimed at improving human biology, health, and functionality through targeted interventions—from optimizing sleep and nutrition to technological solutions and supplements. In essence, it involves ways to “hack” our biological mechanisms in order to achieve greater resilience, better physical performance, and a more youthful appearance.

Biohacking is often associated with concepts such as longevity and the enhancement of cellular function, with the goal not only of looking younger but also of improving overall biological performance.

Aesthetic medicine, on the other hand, applies medical and surgical methods to improve appearance following a careful assessment of individual needs. When physicians design treatments based on biohacking principles, they focus on strengthening the skin’s natural regenerative mechanisms. This approach often leads to longer-lasting results supported by scientific evidence rather than superficial changes.

O I BIO AC IN A I IN A T TIC ICIN

1 HOLISTIC APPROACH AND SKIN PREPARATION

One of the key elements of biohacking for appearance is managing the fundamental factors that influence skin health, such as sleep, nutrition, hydration, and stress management. These factors directly affect cellular processes related to regeneration and collagen production. Preparing the skin through lifestyle biohacks can enhance the effectiveness of aesthetic medical procedures such as fillers, botox, biostimulators, and laser treatments.

2

TECHNOLOGICAL INTERVENTIONS FOR THE SKIN

Technologies such as LED light therapy and radiofrequency (RF) devices can also be considered forms of biohacking. These technologies stimulate biological responses that promote collagen production and cellular renewal.

3

PREVENTIVE AND LONG-TERM THINKING

Biohacking emphasizes prevention and continuous improvement. The goal is not only to reverse visible signs of aging but also to slow down the natural aging process at a cellular level. Increasingly, aesthetic medicine is adopting this philosophy, replacing short-term, surface-level solutions with treatments that support cellular regeneration.

4

PERSONALIZED AND EVIDENCE-BASED TREATMENTS

Perhaps the greatest strength of biohacking in aesthetic medicine is its emphasis on personalization based on biological and environmental data. With the support of technologies such as DNA analysis, biometric measurements, and personalized skincare protocols, treatments can be performed with greater effectiveness and safety.

AT O O A ATT NTION TO

Although biohacking can offer significant benefits when properly integrated, not all trends are scientifically validated. Some supplements or gadgets that promise “miracle” results lack sufficient evidence and may lead to disappointment—or even health risks—if used without proper medical supervision.

INTERVAL WALKING: SMALL STEPS, BIG BENEFITS

Interval Walking, also known as the apanese Walking Method, is an ideal way to combine movement with mental renewal. By alternating intense and gentle walking phases, it helps strengthen heart health, improve stamina, and build overall fitness. Balance, awareness, and consistency are the keys to transforming a simple daily routine into a wellness ritual that fills us with positive energy and prepares us for a vibrant summer ahead.

BOOST YOUR HEART HEALTH

Interval Walking is an excellent way to support cardiovascular health and endurance. Alternating between fast and moderate walking improves circulation, helps lower blood pressure, and enhances blood flow, while reducing the risk of heart disease.

STRENGTHEN YOUR MUSCLES AND BALANCE

The apanese Walking Method strengthens the muscles of the legs, glutes, and core, improving posture and balance. The changing pace increases endurance without putting excessive strain on the joints, making it ideal for everyday exercise.

YOUR KEY TO WEIGHT MANAGEMENT

When it comes to weight control, Interval Walking burns more calories than regular walking and boosts metabolism even after the workout. This helps maintain or reduce weight without overexertion.

STRESS LESS, SMILE MORE

The mental benefits of Interval Walking are just as important. Alternating between energetic and relaxed intervals promotes the release of endorphins, reduces stress, and improves mood. Each step feels like a small victory, building confidence and creating a calm, almost zen-like state of mind.

THE EASY PATH TO WELLBEING

Last but not least, Interval Walking is highly accessible and safe. It requires no equipment, suits all ages and fitness levels, and delivers the benefits of exercise with a very low risk of injury—making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to integrate movement and wellbeing into daily life.

1

TIPS FOR MAXIMUM BENEFITS

1Start walking at a moderate pace, keeping your heart rate in zone 1— you should be able to talk comfortably while walking—or around 0–60 of your maximum heart rate if you use a smart tracker. Maintain this pace for about three minutes.

2Then increase your speed. If you are just starting out, walk briskly for one minute, swinging your arms actively to raise your heart rate to zone 3, around 0– 0 of your maximum heart rate.

3Slow down again and return to your initial walking pace, allowing your heart rate to drop. Keep this pace for three to five minutes, depending on how tired you feel.

4Repeat the fast walking phase for one minute. Continue alternating between fast and slower walking in the same way until you reach about 30 minutes in total. Finish with at least three minutes of relaxed walking as a cool-down before stopping completely.

GEORGE STAMOULIS

FROM THE 3,000M STEEPLECHASE ON THE TRACK TO ROAD MARATHONS AND MOUNTAIN RACES, GEORGE STAMOULIS BELONGS TO A NEW GENERATION OF GREEK RUNNERS WHO MOVE EFFORTLESSLY BETWEEN DIFFERENT WORLDS OF RUNNING. WITH A PLACE AMONG GREECE’S ALL-TIME TOP 10 MARATHONERS, HE CONTINUES TO PUSH HIS LIMITS WHILE STAYING DEEPLY COMMITTED TO THE PHILOSOPHY OF PROCESS AND DAILY EFFORT.

he transition from the steeplechase to the marathon is one of the most demanding “transformations” in running. What element from your steeplechase background still influences the way you run the marathon? In the steeplechase the distance is much shorter than the marathon, so the pace is intense from the start. That naturally creates the urge to go out fast, without the kind of restraint the marathon demands. In the marathon you need patience and careful energy management over many hours so that the race unfolds with gradually increasing intensity. I’m still learning how to manage that, because I’m quite new to the marathon distance. You have to stay disciplined, because the paces that feel comfortable in the early kilometers later become much more demanding as fatigue builds up.

aking reece’s all-time op 0 in the marathon is a major milestone. When you crossed the finish line in Valencia, what was the first thing that went through your mind?

I hadn’t gone there with that time in mind. My goal was simply to finish safely and enjoy a good experience. When I crossed the finish line, I didn’t immediately realize what time I had run. I looked at my watch and saw :1 : 9. I couldn’t believe it! It was a very powerful moment of joy and emotion. You feel that all the effort pays off after a long period of hard work, patience, and quite a few challenges – because sport always comes with ups and downs. That performance gave me a lot of motivation for what comes next.

You’ve had success on the track, on the road, and in the mountains. What has each of these environments taught you as a runner?

I started in track and field, which mainly taught me discipline, because training takes place in a very structured environment with a specific program. Mountain running was always something I loved. I was exposed to it from a young age because my father used to participate in mountain races and we would go along with him. For me, trail running represents freedom and calm. You run alone with your thoughts, surrounded by landscapes you don’t encounter either on the road or on the track. The marathon, on the other hand, is more monotonous but also more mentally demanding. Long distances suit me, and now I’ve stepped away from the track to focus more on the marathon and mountain running. At every level, though, discipline remains the foundation of an athletic career.

LEADS THE LOVE WAY

At the 2026 Athens Half arathon you finished on the podium with a time of 0 2 . Is the mindset different when you run in your own city compared to an international race?

For me personally it’s something that carries a strong emotional charge, and it can work both positively and negatively. If I hear a familiar voice, it can pull me out of my racing rhythm. On the other hand, running in your own city and feeling the support of the crowd is incredibly motivating. So it’s really a double-edged sword. When I race abroad, I tend to be more detached. Once the race starts, I lock my mind onto the goal and focus only on the race itself. For me, the Athens Half Marathon was a stepping stone toward the big goal, which is the Rotterdam Marathon. All my training during this period is leading up to that race, and later on to the Athens Marathon. As a physiotherapist specializing in sports rehabilitation, you have a rare “dual perspective” on the body. How does that help you as an athlete?

The biggest advantage isn’t so much on race day, but in the preparation leading up to it. My physiotherapy background helps me listen to my body more carefully and prevent injuries. And if a problem does appear, I can manage the recovery process faster and more effectively. From my experience in sport, I’ve seen that the better the body recovers, the better it can perform.

hrough your Wake pA project you combine running, travel, and social impact. Was there an e perience that made you rethink what it means to “run”?

A defining experience was the time I spent living in Kenya for three years. While I was there, a producer wanted to film a documentary about a young athlete’s pursuit of his dream. During the filming, the entire team experienced firsthand what everyday running life is like there. When they returned home, many of them had fallen so much in love with the country and the experience that they wanted to go back. That’s how the idea was born to combine sport with tourism, culture, and social initiatives. My experience in Kenya was truly transformative, both for the project and for me personally. At a time when running is becoming increasingly popular, what do you think separates a very good runner from a truly great one?

Focus on your goals, persistence in daily training, and –above all – love for what you do. When you truly love sports, you find the motivation to wake up early, train, and then carry on with the rest of your day. Consistency and dedication are what gradually lead to progress.

You mentioned that your father was a role model in your early involvement in sport. ow that many young athletes see you in the same way, what do you try to pass on to them?

What really matters is loving the process. Performance alone doesn’t mean much. I go running not because I want to achieve a specific time, but because I enjoy the daily rhythm of training and everything sport gives me – physical, mental, and emotional well-being. If there’s one thing I’d like people to take from this, it’s to love sport for what it is. To run out of a genuine need and a genuine love for what they do.

hen you truly love sports you find the otivation to wa e up early train and then carry on with the rest of your day.

DIGITAL BALANCE IS

NIKOS VASILAKOS IS A MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR SPECIALIZING IN VR THERAPY (VIRTUAL REALITY THERAPY) AND FOUNDER OF SAFERKIDS. AS A CYBERCRIME PROSECUTOR TRAINER, LINGUIST, AND OURNALIST, HE COMBINES TECHNOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE WITH PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT, HELPING FAMILIES AND SCHOOLS NAVIGATE THE DIGITAL WORLD SAFELY.

How can we identify potential internet addiction in minors?

The transition from use to addiction does not happen overnight, but there are “warning signs” that should not be ignored. Addiction becomes apparent when the child loses control of time and exhibits intense “digital anxiety” when not connected. We observe a gradual withdrawal from physical activities (e.g., sports, outings with friends) and a decline in school performance. The child often neglects basic hygiene, nutrition, or sleep, while their behavior becomes aggressive or depressive if attempts are made to restrict their use.

How do social media affect the self-esteem and mental health of children and adolescents?

Social media has become a constant arena for comparison. For a teenager, self-esteem is often “measured” by likes and views. Constant exposure to beautified, filtered images creates a false sense of inadequacy, leading to FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) syndrome. This can trigger symptoms of anxiety, body dysmorphia, and, in severe cases, depression, as the child’s intrinsic value depends on fleeting digital acceptance.

DIGITAL BALANCE IS THE NEW LIFE SKILL DIGITAL BALANCE

How can we teach children to set healthy boundaries regarding screen time?

Screen time should not be treated as a punishment or reward, but as a health issue. Teenagers should be involved in setting boundaries so that they feel in control. An effective strategy is to create “usage agreements” within the family, defining mobile-free zones (e.g., at the dinner table or in the bedroom after 10 p.m.). Education in self-regulation is key: we teach children to ask themselves, “Is what I am doing now beneficial, or am I just killing time?” If the child does not comply and is not cooperative, then screen time becomes a punishment or a reward, always with a warning and not in a punitive manner.

What is the current reality regarding oversharing and cyberbullying?

Oversharing is a gateway to many dangers. When a child shares locations, personal moments, or sensitive information, they lose control of their privacy forever. When it comes to cyberbullying, the types are now multi-layered: from social exclusion and harassment to the more dangerous “fraping” (hacking into an account and posting offensive content) or “outing” (disclosing personal secrets without consent).

What are the first steps to take if we detect cyberbullying? If an incident is detected, the first step is to provide emotional support: the child must feel that it is not their fault and that we are there for them. Technically, we follow the three-step approach: Stop (do not respond to the perpetrator), Block (block them everywhere), Save (keep screenshots as evidence). If there is a threat to physical integrity or blackmail, it is imperative to contact the Cybercrime Prosecution Service.

Questioning is the first step toward di ital aturity.

How can parents protect their children without resorting to e cessive monitoring or control?

Excessive policing often has the opposite effect, causing the child to hide. Parents should be “companions” rather than “prosecutors.” Protection comes from knowledge: if we know how platforms work, we can discuss the risks preventively. The best safety net is open communication, so that children trust us when something goes wrong.

What are the most common mistakes parents make when managing their children’s digital lives?

The most common mistake is “digital hypocrisy”: we cannot ask our children to put down their phones when we are constantly glued to a screen ourselves. Also, delayed involvement—many parents only intervene when a problem arises— and the belief that “my child knows everything because they are a native of technology, while I am a refugee,” when in fact they lack critical maturity.

Is parental control effective, or is something more re uired?

Parental control apps are a useful “crutch” for young children, but they are not the solution. As they grow older, children will find ways to circumvent them. What is needed is to build the Digital Citizen: a person who respects others online, protects their data, and understands that their digital behavior has consequences in the real world. It is very important to “play” the child’s games with them and take an interest in their “victories” in games and in life.

How can we educate children to be responsible and safe digital citizens?

In the age of fake news and deepfakes, critical thinking is the ultimate defense. We must teach children to cross-check sources and question the motives behind every post. “Is this photo real or edited?” “Why is this influencer promoting this product?” Questioning is the first step toward digital maturity.

How can critical thinking towards social media content be cultivated?

Schools cannot remain spectators. There must be joint actions, such as experiential workshops where parents and teachers are simultaneously informed about new trends (e.g., AI, TikTok trends). Creating a unified culture of safety between home and school ensures that children receive the same messages everywhere, drastically reducing the chances of exposure to danger.

WEDNESDAYS AND THURSDAYS, NIKOS VASILAKOS IS AT HIS OFFICE IN THESSALONIKI, VENIZELOS STREET, ELEFTHERIAS SQUARE

LIFE

BALANCE. MEANING. FEEL.

RESTLESS, CREATIVE, AND CHARISMATIC, VASILIS MILIONIS IS ONE OF THE MOST TALENTED ACTORS OF HIS GENERATION. ON THE OCCASION OF HIS PARTICIPATION IN THE SERIES “DADDY, I LOVE YOU”, HE TALKS ABOUT HIS LOVE FOR ACTING AND THE WAY HE APPROACHES LIFE AS AN ARTIST.

LIVING THE OLE IFE R L

You started acting at a young age. When did you realize this was the path you would follow professionally? I think that as children we already have an idea of what we want to do in the future, even through play. In fact, while I was at drama school, I found an elementary school keepsake album where I had written that I wanted to become an actor. Still, I believe the foundation was laid in high school, when I joined my school’s theater group. That’s when I realized that what was happening on stage concerned me even on a deeper level...

VASILIS MILIONIS

How easy or difficult is it to balance your obligations with your personal desires?

Unfortunately, that’s the hardest part. Actors, like everyone else, have entered a constant process of producing as much as possible. We’re required to give 100 of our soul and emotions within a short period of time to achieve the desired result. So it’s very difficult to ask for the things you need in your daily life. Often, you have to leave something behind. I believe personal time is precious, and there should be the proper respect for it.

Are you able to “steal” some time during the day to do something you enjoy?

Within the daily routine, that’s not really possible. However, when a gap appears, I enjoy going into nature and traveling. It’s very important for an artist to observe the world around them. If you don’t truly experience life, how can you portray it? Traveling is the greatest gift we can give ourselves. Through it, we discover the world and realize how small we are in relation to something greater.

How do you react to audience comments? Do you try to find something positive even in negative ones?

So far – fortunately – I haven’t received negative comments (laughs). However, since I’ve played darker characters in the past, I try to distinguish between negative comments about the character and those about the actor. When we choose this profession, we accept that idea. If we are at peace with ourselves, we can filter comments and grow through criticism.

What impression did your role in “Porto Leone” leave on you?

“Porto Leone” was a truly beautiful project. When I first read the script, I was shocked! The puzzle was completed by the directors, who approached the work in cinematic terms, as well as by the music and the outstanding cast. As for my role, I loved it from the very beginning for its tenderness and sensitivity. I have only good things to say and I hope we meet again in the future.

How do you feel portraying a father in the series “Daddy, I love you”?

It’s wonderful working with children! Although at first I was worried that my roles in “Porto Leone” and “Daddy, I love you” would overlap on television, I ended up liking the idea that two such different projects would synchronize in some way. “Daddy, I love you” is a comfort series that masterfully blends drama with comedy. Children draw you in with their sweetness and authenticity, so the result you see is 100 natural. I think a child makes you see things differently. Our goal is to act for them while also protecting them.

Your role is that of a young widowed father. Do you think Heracles grows alongside his son and rediscovers the world?

Yes, absolutely. The magical thing about this series is that the children are the adults. They teach us things, they push us to think more clearly about certain situations, and they raise questions that lead us to make decisions – essentially making us a bit more “grown-up.” I think that’s the most tender message the series conveys. It redefines how we approach parental relationships, because traditionally the parent guides the child. In reality, though, it’s reciprocal, and it’s beautiful to admit and highlight that.

In 2026, how easy is it for children to preserve their innocence?

Unfortunately, it’s very difficult. For me, the most important factor is love. When a child grows up with love, knowing right from wrong, and engages in activities that spark imagination and creativity – away from a screen – then perhaps it’s easier to preserve childhood innocence. Unfortunately or fortunately, there’s no manual for being a good parent. But my faith in goodness makes me believe we’ll find a way to achieve it.

Do you see common traits between young Vasilis and your on-screen son, Stelios?

I think what connects us is impatience and eagerness –even for the smallest things.

How do you imagine yourself as a father in real life? The truth is, I haven’t thought about myself in that role yet. For me, it’s something very personal, and each person feels when the time is right.

Parenthood isn’t something that can be defined y shoulds and social stereotypes.

COMFORT, NATURE &CHARACTER

Strict geometric lines are giving way to softer, more organic forms that add movement and vitality to interior spaces. Sofas, armchairs, and tables with curved silhouettes create a natural visual flow, making spaces easier to navigate and instilling a sense of calm. At the same time, this approach encourages relaxation and social interaction, turning the living or dining area into a hub for connection and well-being.

apandi design is a harmonious fusion of apanese aesthetics and Scandinavian minimalism. It is defined by clean lines, natural materials, neutral tones, and an emphasis on functionality and balance. Spaces feel calm and uncluttered, featuring low-profile furniture, tactile textures, and a philosophy that promotes sustainability and mindful living. apandi is not merely a decorating style, but a lifestyle approach that prioritizes quality and essence.

INTERIOR DESIGN TRENDS FOR 2026 ARE NO LONGER FOCUSED SOLELY ON AESTHETICS, BUT ON A NEW WAY OF LIVING—ONE THAT IS HUMAN-CENTERED AND ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS, DRAWING INSPIRATION FROM THE PAST WITH A FRESH TWIST.

BACK TO NATURE

Natural materials such as wood, stone, and bamboo are making a strong comeback in interior design, restoring warmth and authenticity to contemporary spaces. Details like indoor plants, the use of natural light, and earthy color palettes create a sense of balance and a meaningful connection with the natural environment. Living rooms and kitchens are transformed into spaces for relaxation and hospitality, where curved furniture and rich textures prevail. The result is a welcoming, human-centered environment that blends aesthetics with comfort.

Ο

COLOR AS MOOD RETRO REIMAGINED

Color trends in interior design for 0 6 lean toward warmer, quieter palettes. Earthy neutrals—such as beige, off-white, warm gray, and sand—serve as a foundation for more expressive accents. Deep greens, muted blues, terracotta, and clay tones add character and reinforce the connection with nature, while shades like emerald, burgundy, and deep navy appear selectively in textiles or statement pieces. In 0 6, color is used not for spectacle, but to create interiors with depth, warmth, and timeless appeal.

The 19 0s and 19 0s are reappearing in interior design not as literal revivals, but as sources of inspiration adapted to contemporary needs. The ’ 0s bring warmth through earthy tones and rich textures, while the ’ 0s introduce bold color accents, geometric patterns, and glossy surfaces. The key lies in balance: carefully selected statement elements that merge vintage character with modern functionality, without overwhelming the space.

JOY. SENSE. PLEASURE.

DIAMANTIS MASOUTIS S.A.

50 YEARS OF STEADY PRESENCEECONOMICAL AND PROUDLY GREEK

Diamantis Masoutis S.A.:The company’s story begins in 1976, when Diamantis Masoutis opened the first supermarket in the center of Thessaloniki, on Krystalli Street at Antigonidon Square—a store that continues to operate uninterrupted to this day. In 1987, the first large-scale “Grand Masoutis” store opened in Thermi, and from 1990 onward the company began its steady expansion across Northern Greece, with a strong focus on supporting local communities and producers.

A new era began in 2015, when Giannis Masoutis assumed leadership, marking a period of dynamic growth. Diamantis Masoutis S.A. expanded decisively into Attica and the islands of the Aegean and Ionian Seas, securing a leading position in the retail market while maintaining its family character.

In 2026, Diamantis Masoutis S.A. celebrates 50 years of continuous presence and contribution. It marks half a century of steady development, trust, and meaningful relationships with its people, consumers, partners, and the wider community. Throughout these five decades, the company has consistently stood by its employees with respect and responsibility, recognizing their valuable contribution to its growth and success. With the same consistency, it remains close to the consumers who choose and trust it, reaffirming daily the identity of Masoutis supermarkets as “economical and proudly Greek,” with steady care for every household.

At the same time, the company maintains long-term, stable partnerships with suppliers and collaborators, supporting Greek entrepreneurship and cultivating relationships built on trust. With equal responsibility, it stands by society, implementing initiatives that strengthen local communities and give back value wherever it operates.

S.A. conrelationships close after the company

Fifty years after the opening of the first Masoutis supermarket on Krystalli Street, the company continues dynamically, with the same vision and commitment: to stand by people every day, support the Greek economy, and create value for everyone.

DIMITRIS MICHAILIDIS

MORE THAN A FOOD INFLUENCER

DIMITRIS MICHAILIDIS BELONGS TO A GENERATION OF CREATORS WHO DISCOVERED IN THE INTERNET NOT MERELY A MEDIUM, BUT A SPACE TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES, EVOLVE, AND BUILD THEIR OWN COMMUNITY. HE HAS STOOD OUT THANKS TO HIS AUTHENTICITY, DIRECTNESS, AND A CULINARY PHILOSOPHY THAT REMAINS DEEPLY HOME-BASED AND ACCESSIBLE.

With more than half a million followers on Instagram and a strong presence on YouTube, the relationship he has built goes far beyond likes and views. For many, he is the reason they cook more often, try something new, or simply feel that good food does not require complexity—just willingness and passion.

You knew from a young age that you wanted to pursue pastry. How did you imagine it then, and how did that idea evolve?

At 15, I woke up one morning and told my parents that I wanted to become a chef or pastry chef. Back then, the image in my mind was quite specific. I imagined myself working seasonal jobs in a restaurant or hotel, aiming to grow and eventually become a pastry chef. I worked for several years as both a pastry chef and cook in food establishments, though not in seasonal conditions. That journey gave me experience and a strong foundation, but over time I began searching for something more—greater freedom of expression and creativity. That’s when the idea of creating a digital cooking channel came to me, a space where I could experiment and continuously develop new recipes.

Your recipes are known for their simplicity and limited ingredients. What philosophy lies behind this approach? Cooking doesn’t need complexity. Simplicity allows you to

Food is not just technique, ut also e otion and e ory.

highlight the quality of the ingredients and their natural flavors, without unnecessary interference. With few, well-chosen ingredients, a recipe becomes more authentic. Besides, people today are looking for easy, affordable recipes using ingredients they already have in their cupboards.

How do you handle e pectations and criticism from a demanding and highly active social media audience?

I listen to criticism and keep whatever helps me grow, without letting hate comments affect me. The first hateful comment I received—when I had just started—made me want to stop making videos altogether. It affected me deeply. But now, they don’t touch me at all. In general, I try to respond to almost all comments, especially on Instagram, where I spend most of my time.

Was there a person or moment that defined your professional path?

I grew up with my grandmother, who is an excellent cook. Even though the pastry shop she ran with my grandfather had closed before I was born, I believe the “kitchen bug” was already in my DNA. She also regularly watched amie Oliver’s show. Without realizing it, I would sit beside her and watch him cook. Those images stayed with me. I loved his style, his directness, and the joy of creation. I believe that played a crucial role in shaping my culinary identity.

Is there a dish that strongly connects you to childhood memories?

If there’s one dish that instantly takes me back, it’s trachanas and fried eggs. These flavors are deeply engraved in me because they’re tied to the warmest memories from my grandmother’s house. They weren’t elaborate dishes, but they were made with care and love. Every time I taste them today, I’m reminded of her. Perhaps that’s where my relationship with cooking truly began—in understanding that food is not just technique, but emotion and memory.

How would you describe your culinary identity to someone who doesn’t know you at all?

I usually start by saying that I’m a food content creator and that I create and present cooking recipes online. Older generations often look at me with confusion, and their immediate question is: “So where do you actually work? In a restaurant?”

For many people, it’s still hard to grasp that someone today can work and earn a living by creating cooking content on social media.

How do you balance culinary tradition with contemporary creativity?

For me, tradition is a starting point, not a limit. I study it, respect it, and understand its logic before attempting to evolve it. Modern creativity comes naturally, through small interventions and new techniques—without altering the dish’s identity. The goal is for each recipe to tell its story, but through a more contemporary lens.

How do you evaluate the evolution of modern reek cuisine?

Greek cuisine is in a very mature and exciting phase. It has confidence, it is rooted in its heritage, and it no longer tries to imitate other gastronomic schools. Chefs work with respect for raw materials, highlight the richness of Greek land, and at the same time dare to experiment. This balance between tradition and a modern perspective gives Greek cuisine an international identity.

What role do ingredients play in your creative process?

For me, every recipe begins with the ingredient—not the other way around. Good ingredients don’t need exaggeration; they require respect and proper handling. When a product is high quality and seasonal, it essentially “shows” you the path you need to follow.

ine dining or simple everyday food?

I love cooking in all its forms—whether it’s a gourmet restaurant or a small caf serving meze. But the truth is, most of the time I’ll look for what I call the genuine taverna: simple things, without fuss or overcomplicated plates.

ooking at home or dining out?

At home, I rarely cook beyond the recipe tests I do for my show. Generally, I enjoy eating out—not only because I gather ideas, but because I believe food brings people together. Around a table, decisions are made, friendships begin, and people grow closer. Food acts as a bridge. That inspires me not only as a professional, but as a person.

oo in doesn t need co ple ity. Simplicity allows you to highlight the quality of the ingredients and their natural flavors, without unnecessary interference.

NEW SUPER FOOD

According to international media, 0 6 is emerging as “the year of cabbage,” highlighting it as one of the most underrated yet nutritious vegetables. Part of the cruciferous family, cabbage stands out for its durability, long shelf life, and culinary versatility—it can be eaten raw, cooked, or pickled. Rich in fiber, vitamins C and K, antioxidants, and probiotics (especially in forms like kimchi), it supports gut, heart, and immune health. At the same time, chefs are placing cabbage at the center of the plate, elevating it from a side dish to a main ingredient.

BOTANICAL MARVEL

Recently, Herm s presented its new porcelain tableware collection Natures Marines at Paris Design Week, consisting of 3 pieces. The designs were created by British illustrator Katie Scott, inspired by marine plants and seaweed she studied at the Natural History Museum in London. Each plate features a unique decoration with no repetitions, giving the table setting a sense of variety and freshness.

BLUE BOX CAFÉ

Tiffany & Co. has opened its first Blue Box Caf in apan, inside its new flagship store in Tokyo’s Ginza district. Under the direction of acclaimed chef Natsuko Shoji, the menu blends New York elegance with seasonal apanese ingredients, offering experiences such as “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and “Tiffany Afternoon Tea.” The space, designed by Peter Marino, brings together luxury, gastronomy, and aesthetics.

The Korean Wave (Hallyu) continues to spread globally. While K-pop remains dominant, Korean cuisine is gaining increasing attention. According to a recent report by the Korean Ministry of Culture, international interest now extends beyond groups like BTS and Blackpink to foods such as kimchi, Korean fried chicken, and spicy Buldak ramen.

GOURMAND

The book “The Art of Tequila: Spirit of Mexico” by Suleman Anaya (Assouline) is a profound cultural exploration of tequila as a symbol of Mexican identity. Through more than 00 images and rare archival material, readers travel from the agave fields of alisco to historic distilleries and contemporary artistic studios.

Modern perfumery is showing growing interest in food-inspired scents. So-called gourmand perfumes—with notes such as tiramisu, pistachio, matcha, caramel, or whipped cream—are gaining popularity and translating flavors and memories into fragrance. From iconic best sellers like Angel by Mugler to more recent creations such as Infusion de Santal Chai by Prada, these perfumes rely on the power of memory and familiarity. Today, smelling like food no longer seems unusual, but rather a choice connected to comfort and emotional security.

LIKE FATHER, LIKE DAUGHTER

Matilda Ramsay—the youngest daughter of renowned chef Gordon Ramsay—has inherited her father’s passion for gastronomy. She studied culinary arts in Ireland and now hosts her own Prime Video show, “Dish It Out,” where she experiments with viral recipes and collaborates with celebrity chefs and influencers. She also shares her own recipes on social media and recently launched her own tableware collection with Royal Doulton.

LAM Museum—an innovative museum in the Dutch city of Lisse—explores our relationship with food through contemporary art. Its collection includes works that spark both curiosity and reflection, such as sculptures made from decomposing food and installations inspired by supermarket shopping. It is not a purely “gastronomic” museum, but a space where food becomes a tool for storytelling and critique.

EARRINGS

Fruit-inspired earrings are the most playful accessory trend of the season. Tiny cherries (including favorites by Saint Laurent), lemons, strawberries, and watermelons become statement pieces that brighten any look and add a touch of humor and freshness. Designers combine colorful stones, crystals, and embossed details to create jewelry that is both fun and luxurious. From casual city outfits to glamorous appearances, these earrings offer an unexpected way to play with personal style.
