From the heart

For many people, anxiety can be a driving force. For others, it creates a kind of “freeze” — it stops them in their tracks and makes it hard for them to function. For years now, I remember myself living in a constant state of anxiety. Sometimes it pushes me forward, even helps me — but I know very well that in the long run, it’s not good for me. So I often find myself trying to control it, even when there’s nothing specific causing it. Most of the time, I hide it. Maybe I feel the need to keep up with everything. Maybe I’m afraid of making mistakes. Or maybe, quite simply, I get anxious… for no particular reason at all. The truth is that everyone’s daily life, more or less, leads to anxious moments. Today, people are constantly trying to keep up: with obligations, with family, with partners, with friends - even with their leisure time. And the older I get, the more I realize that perhaps this is what life is meant to bea little different from what we imagined as children.

Now that the year is coming to an end, there is one wish I want to make, louder than all the obvious ones: to have more lightness in our lives. To feel calmer and happier, both inside and around us. To enjoy our moments without parallel thoughts. Because, in the end, no matter how much we worry, most things happen in their own time.

I wish you a new year more beautiful than all those before it. A year full of health - which we so often take for granted - and the clarity to recognize the essence in the small, simple, everyday blessings we too often overlook.

Louis Denavaut revitalizes the historic Elysées Lincoln in Paris, giving it a vibrant new identity through three distinct spaces reminiscent of Wes Anderson’s palettes. L’Audito, Le Studio, and Le Club function like different “film genres,” with velvet textures, pastel hues, and bold pinks shaping unique atmospheres that elevate the contemporary cinema experience.
