We’re Here for You 24/7! The Ventura County Health Care Plan (VCHCP) understands that providers often need to contact the Health Plan outside of regular business hours. VCHCP always has someone on-call to speak with you. For urgent prior authorizations, information on contracted tertiary hospitals, coordination of hospital-to-hospital transfers (including air transports) or other urgent Health Plan related matters, please contact VCHCP 24-hours per day, 7 days a week at (805) 981-5050 or toll free at (800)600-8247 and our answering service will contact an on-call clinical staff member to help you.
