As summer begins to wind down, I want to thank each of you for helping make 2026 another memorable year at Crow Valley. From championship golf and junior programs to family events, social gatherings, and outstanding dining experiences, the energy around the club continues to showcase what makes Crow Valley such a special community.

This summer, we hosted more than 30 events with approximately 2,600 total attendees, including members and their families. It has been great to see so many people enjoying the Club, connecting with one another, and making Crow Valley part of their summer. This month's newsletter celebrates many of the people who make our club great. Recognize our Waitlist Champions, congratulate our Club Champions, welcome the Lansing family, and honoring Robin Sisemore's remarkable 45-year legacy at Crow Valley. These stories remind us that while facilities and amenities matter, it is the relationships and sense of belonging that truly define our club. As we continue our journey toward Crow Valley's Diamond Year in 2029, our Strategic Plan provides a clear vision for the future: striving to be the premier club in the region through exceptional golf, dining, social experiences, and personalized service. Every event, tournament, family activity, and dining experience featured in this newsletter supports that vision by creating opportunities for members to connect and engage with one another. We are also reaching an exciting stage in the golf course renovation. With new irrigation infrastructure going into the ground and construction activity increasing across the course, members are beginning to see the future of Crow Valley take shape. There is still significant work ahead, but it is exciting to see this important investment move from plans on paper to visible progress on the course. As we move into the fall season, I encourage you to participate in the many events ahead, welcome new faces, and continue sharing your feedback and ideas. Together, we are building on a proud legacy while creating an even brighter future for Crow Valley. Thank you for your continued support and membership. I look forward to seeing you around the club this September.

MICHAEL AND CARRIE
LANSING
Michael Lansing and his wife, Carrie, along with their three children, Layla, Axel, and Emmett, are our newest members. Although new to the Club, they have been connected to Crow Valley and our community for years. Michael is a Senior Contracts Manager with V2X, Inc. and previously served as a Contracting Officer with the Army Contracting Command in Rock Island. Carrie is the Founder and Owner of High Barr Consulting LLC. The Lansing family is active in the Southeast Little League, and we are excited to have them join our club family.
UPDATED POLICY
TENNIS & PICKLEBALL GUEST FEE Members may invite guests to enjoy our tennis and pickleball facilities. Guests are permitted up to six visits per calendar year, must be accompanied by a member, and should be registered through the app prior to play. We have eliminated the guest fee that was previously in place, but would still like to track usage accurately. Thank you for helping us provide a great experience for members and guests alike.

retire at the end of 2026. Few individuals have had a greater impact on the Crow Valley experience, and we are grateful for her friendship, professionalism, and commitment to our members.
Dear Members, As you all know, this is my last year working here. I had no idea, when I started in 1981, that this would be the place I would choose to stay at for my career choice. However, it didn’t take long to come to appreciate what a great place Crow Valley is to work at.

It’s because of you, the members past and present. You have treated me with kindness and respect throughout the years. Something I cherish deeply, and have never taken for granted. Can you believe I have had the privilege of being here through four generations of certain families since Crow Valley first began! What a unique experience. I’m sure you agree the founding members started a beautiful club that I have seen flourish through the years. I have also worked with very talented people in all the different departments, throughout my time here. I appreciated the work ethic shown by so many. You have some very loyal staff wanting to do right by you. Many have asked what I intend to do next. As some of you know I have been very active in my faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 30 years. This has been another reason why working here has been such a privilege. Crow Valley has supported this passion by allowing me the times I needed to take off for my Assemblies, Conventions, weekly meetings and ministry work. Retiring will open up an opportunity to do more. I wish you all the best. Thank you for 45 unforgettable years.

I am excited to be here at Crow helping in the restaurant and around events and social media. I love all things fashion, interior design, and travel! For the past five years I have worked at an interior design studio here in Bettendorf, where I have had the opportunity to develop my creative eye, problem-solving skills, and ability to connect with and understand clients. I’m excited to bring those qualities to my new role! I am eager to meet you all and get to know the membership. Most of all, I hope to make every visit a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience.
