Connor is a Freshman at Assumption High School and this past week won his Championship match 6-0, 6-1! This amazing win can be traced back to his hard work and dedication to a rigorous practice schedule Connor is well known for his skills on the courts but is also a very kind and t young Crow member.

Dear Members,
As we move into the heart of summer, there is a renewed energy around Crow Valley. School is coming to a close, the pool is open, the golf course is in full swing, and our team is excited to welcome members and their families for what promises to be a memorable season.
This year has been focused on turning plans into action
What began with the Clubhouse Remodel earlier this year continues through a variety of improvements designed to enhance the overall member experience across the Club. It has been rewarding to see members enjoying the refreshed spaces, and our team remains focused on building on that momentum throughout the summer.
Golfers will notice several improvements, including the opening of our refreshed Halfway House, expanded weekend food and beverage offerings on the course, breakfast service for early morning rounds, and the return of beverage cart service These additions are designed to make time spent at the Club more enjoyable and convenient, whether you're playing nine holes or spending the entire day with friends and family
Beyond golf, summer at Crow Valley is about bringing people together Whether it's enjoying time at the pool, attending family events, listening to live music, joining us for a DJ night, or taking advantage of 19N food and beverage specials, our goal is to create great opportunities for members to connect, relax, and enjoy the Club throughout the summer
Looking ahead, work continues on the much-anticipated golf course improvement project. The Golf Course Remodel Committee and Tim Gravert have been working diligently to bring this home. Members can expect a communication later this month outlining next steps and providing additional information on the project timeline.

John Bush and Tatiana Vladimirovna are excited to join Crow Valley as our newest members. They have a six-year-old son named Miles and look forward to all the fun around the club this summer and beyond Pictured, you will also see their chocolate lab, Mocha.
The Bush family is moving back home to the Quad Cities after 16 years in Atlanta. John is serving as the controller with McCarthy Bush Corp. Tatiana, who is an Emergency Medicine Physician is excited to be an Iowan as she is originally from Moldova.

Tim Gravert and Levi Floming recently hosted students from Dewitt Central High School. These students participate in the FFA & Horticulture Programs. Tim and Levi gave the students hands on experience as well as discussed their potential futures in the golf course industry. Crow Valley Leadership is happy to continue showing off our technology, equipment and amazing turf conditions. Our team is happy to continue fostering education to further careers in our industry.

Dear Members,
We sincerely appreciate the enthusiasm and support you have shown for our Golf programming. I would like to provide additional insight into our approach for the 2026 season and our Junior Golf Program.
Our practice sessions will be structured around a comprehensive, skills-based curriculum, including instruction in driving, iron play, wedges, chipping, pitching, bunker play, and putting. When course
availability permits, we will also incorporate on-course instruction to further enhance the learning experience.
To support continued junior development, we have created custom scorecards featuring age-appropriate yardages, aligned with U.S. Kids Golf recommendations These scorecards are designed to offer juniors a structured and enjoyable progression while reinforcing the skills they develop with our professional staff.
This initiative also presents a valuable opportunity for families to spend time together on the course, allowing juniors to apply their skills in a playing environment that mirrors competitive standards for their age group. The custom scorecards are now available for pickup behind the Golf Shop counter at your convenience.
I look forward to spending time with members and families and gathering feedback on our golf programming. Every club is unique, and one of my priorities is understanding what works best for Crow Valley. The feedback we receive throughout the season will help us continue to refine and strengthen our programs in the years ahead. Thank you!
