LAMMA 2026 delivers biggest farm innovation showcase

rganisers say this month’s LAMMA 2026 event is shaping up to be the most comprehensive showcase of agricultural innovation seen in the UK. Taking place on 14-15 January 2026 at the NEC Birmingham, the show will bring together cutting-edge machinery, future-focused technology and some of the brightest minds in farming for two days of insight, discovery and practical expertise. For the first time, this year sees LAMMA joins forces with the CropTec and Low Carbon Agriculture shows, creating a single co-hosted event designed to give farmers a complete view of the future of food and farming.
Three-in-one It means visitors will be able to move between the UK’s largest machinery show, the arable event and an exhibition dedicated entirely to climatefriendly agricultural practice. Lamma event director Philippa Christer said bringing the three shows together would give farmers access to innovation and expertise across machinery, arable technology and carbon-reducing practices – all in one place. “Farmers are navigating an extraordinary amount of change. Our aim with LAMMA 2026 is to create a space where they can step back, explore what’s new and gather practical insight to support the year ahead. “By having machinery, technical developments and expert guidance under one roof, we’re giving visitors the chance to compare options, ask questions and come away with ideas that genuinely help their businesses.”
LAMMA’s Demo Arena will also return, allowing visitors to see machinery working and speak directly with engineers and product specialists. For many, it’s an opportunity compare equipment in real time before making investment choices.
Award winner-in-one The all-new JCB Fastrac 6000 Series – already an award winner – will be centre-stage along with JCB’s latest fullsize and compact Loadall telescopic handlers, and a host of other materials handling solutions. JCB Agriculture managing director John Smith said: “LAMMA provides a comfortable environment for having face-to-face conversations with existing and potential customers keen to explore what our latest highly productive machines have to offer.”

Colour sorter adds value to on-farm grain
A
grain cleaning colour sorter will be on working demonstration at LAMMA 2026 – showing visitors how to add value to cereal crops post-harvest. T7 tractor headlines New Holland LAMMA offer

ew Holland will present a refreshed machinery line-up at LAMMA – with the new T7 Standard Wheelbase tractor headlining the stand. The T7 SWB tractors introduce a step change in capability for the 180225 hp class, with a strong focus on efficiency, manoeuvrability and operator experience, says the Basildonbased manufacturer. A new front axle design delivers a smoother ride on the road and in the field, while a 17% tighter turning circle compared to previous models, supports faster headland turns and easier work in confined yards.
Operator comfort A new cab brings a more spacious working environment, upgraded materials and improved storage, while the latest armrest and control layout
make it easier for operators to manage transmission, hydraulics and precision functions. Customers can specify continuously variable transmission from launch, with semi-powershift options to follow later in 2026, ensuring there is a transmission choice to suit every farming system and preference. The New Holland stand will also host the first UK showing of the new W170D+ Forage Power wheel loader, recently awarded as Farm Machine
2026 at Agritechnica, purpose-designed for silage clamping and biomass applications. Developed as an evolution of the W170D, it is engineered to tackle steep ramps, long days and frequent farm-tofarm travel with higher performance and improved fuel autonomy. With an operating weight of around 16.4 tonnes, the machine delivers approximately 255 hp and over 1,300 Nm of torque from its 6.7-litre FPT Industrial engine.

Exhibitors flock to LAMMA event
M
ore than 700 exhibitors are expected to attend this month’s LAMMA event, taking place on 14-15 January at the NEC Birmingham Whether it’s sourcing new kit, exploring efficiency gains, meeting suppliers or keeping ahead of policy and technology shifts, LAMMA 2026 offers a single destination for farm decision-makers to get ready for the year ahead, say organisers. Visitors will find products and expertise for the full breadth of the UK’s farming sectors – including arable, beef, sheep, dairy and mixed systems – with strong representation from exhibitors for all major enterprise types.
Tractor launches Following a flurry of new tractor launches, Fendt will showcase the new 500 Gen4, 700 Gen7.1, 800 Gen5 and 1000 Gen4 series tractors. The latest Rotana baler and newly updated MY26 IDEAL combine will also be in tow. Returning to LAMMA for the second year in a row, Kuhn is also bring-
ing their newest kit. The Karan trailed sprayer range will be centre stage alongside the Highlander tine cultivator, the Muliti-Longer 6157 and the Merge Maxx 102 range. Also making its UK debut is the Case IH Optum 440 – the largest of three new models – alongside a new Puma and Farmall M tractor.
