Because of your kindness and generosity, we were able to bless forty-four families with gifts. We delighted twenty-five area residents with gift baskets to help with their travels for continual medical needs. Since Christmas can be a difficult time following the loss of a loved one, we were able to brighten the lives of fifty-five families by giving them a poinsettia in memory of the loved one that passed on since the last Christmas season. A special thank you to the Community Cupboard volunteers for coordinating with us and donating food baskets. Thank You The families of Andrew Sonsalla are overwhelmed with the outpouring of love that has been sent our way after Dad’s passing. Thank you everyone for the hugs, cards, phone calls, food, prayers, flowers and plants, memorials and stories shared about his life. He was a wonderful, generous and funny cowboy that many called Grandpa Andrew, truly a legend that will be greatly missed. Thank you to his caregivers, Roz, Sam, Hannah, Marlayna, Shaleigh, Evelyn and April for the special care you gave him during his last few months. Thank you to Dr. Hoerauf for the years of caring, concern and wit that always put a smile on his face. Thank you to the Mastels and the Little Missouri Saddle Club for escorting Andrew to the cemetery on horseback carrying the flag that he so loved. Last but not least to the many people who brought horses and carts and rode to the cemetery with Andrew to see him off. I know he was smiling from heaven. His last parade was pretty awesome. Andrew’s family was so important to him that I need to say thank you to each of them also for sharing your time and talents with him, he never got tired of talking or telling stories and his family was always around to listen and help. Andrew, we love and miss you so much already but your legacy lives on in all the people that you met. Happy Trails.
