Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation hosts 17th annual Dee-ni’ Day demonstrations, a tribal citizen art show, men’s card games, shell dice tournament and a regalia showcase. There will also be 60-plus art and food vendors, children and adult activities such as disc golf, archery, bull roping, a bounce house, and a horseshoe tournament. Traditional food samples will include sand bread and clam chowder. A highlight of the Nation’s annual Dee-ni’ Day are the stick games, starting at 11 a.m., with athletes of all ages battling for bragging rights and cash prizes.

A shuttle will be available. A portion of North Indian Rd. at the Hall to the Howonquet Cemetery will be closed for the safety of all attending the event.
