Counties Sport Fishing Club We are a family friendly West coast club based in Waiuku, just south of Auckland. With around 1000 members, trailer boats make up the majority of our fleet. Celebrating fishing of all kinds, from the humble Gurnard to the mighty Broadbill. Club waters span from Raglan north head to Kaipara south head and include the Manukau harbour and Waikato river.

Matt Crawford caught this 21.02kg Albacore Tuna while trolling for bluefin on the maddin Banks.

Many of our members have been making the most of being able to get back out on the water. The harbour has been fishing well, Skoti catching a very nice 15lb snapper and Mars with a fine looking gurnard.
Gerald and Smudge have been hitting the harbour, while Stu Richie sent a kontiki out off Karioitahi beach to catch this 8.6kg snapper.

New Club Systems For several years we have used Clubhub to maintain our membership database and look after sales of event tickets and other items. This has been invaluable to us as a club and allowed us to cope with a large number of members and the increasing demands placed on the administration of clubs. But we have been aware that it is not the most user friendly system and we have been looking for some time to try and find something that could deliver all the functionality we need, but in a more friendly package and in a more cost effective way. We now believe that we have found a suitable system, and for the start of the new club year we will be changing over to Sporty. Many of you will already be familiar with Sporty as it is a New Zealand based club membership management tool that is already used by over 3,000 New Zealand sports clubs, associations and schools including several local sports clubs. We will keep our existing web site address www.csfc.co.nz but for next year there will be a new look web site. You will need to sign up onto the new system, which you will be able to do directly from the web site or with the app on your phone. introducing

cards, so when you sign up you will need to have a photo to upload. This photo will appear on your membership card, so it needs to be a clear image of you something like you would use for a passport photo. More details will be in next months newsletter.

LENGTH RECORDS we need a clear photo of the fish on the approved measure, which are available for $25. The photo must be of the whole fish lying on its side with the mouth touching the head of the measure. We will need details of where it was caught and the name of the angler.
