Unfortunatelyontheoriginaldayforthiscompetition therewerestrongwindsintheharbour,soithadtobe postponeduntilthefollowingweekend.Wedidstill managetoholdthecompetitionduringtheYouth Nationalsthough,soanyfishcaughtbyjunioranglers duringthecompetitioncouldbecountedforthe nationals.Theweatherwasnotperfect,butthestrong windsofthepreviousweekhadgoneandconditions werecalmalthoughtherewastheoddshower.Even withthechangeofdatetherewasagoodturnout,and asusualitwasagoodfuncompetition.Therewere lotsofgreatprizes,soabigthankstothemain sponsorsofthiseventBurnscoandShimanoandthe othersponsorsaswell.
