Our specially designed footwear caters to swollen feet, offering significantly more width, depth, and space than the standard wide-fitting shoes available from other retailers. As a small, caring company with over 40 years of experience in fitting swollen feet and legs, we are dedicated to providing the perfect fit.
All our shoes feature the same extra roomy width fitting (UK 6E for women and 3H for men – both of which are equivalent to a US 6E width fitting). Even if you’re unsure of your exact width, most of our styles are adjustable enough to accommodate various foot shapes and levels of swelling. How can I return goods?

What width fitting is Cosyfeet footwear?
Cosyfeet styles are a UK 6E for women and 3H for men –both of which are equivalent to a US 6E width fitting.
To put our sizing into context, a standard width fitting in the US is a B fitting for women and a D for men. Wide fit shoes are typically a D fitting for women and a 2E for men. Extra or ultra wide is usually a 2E for women and a 4E for men. So, we’re positive that our footwear is significantly wider, deeper and roomier than anything you’ve tried before.
Don’t worry if you don’t know the exact width of your feet as most of our styles are very adjustable and can cope with a range of swelling and foot shapes. To put it simply, if you have swollen or extra wide feet and can’t find shoes to fit, we can probably help.
What
size should I order?
If you have swollen feet, you may have been buying a bigger size than normal (e.g. a size 9 instead of an 8) to try and get the extra width you need. Because our footwear is so roomy, we recommend that you order the shoe size you wore before experiencing swelling. If we don’t offer a half size in the style you want, we suggest you order the smaller full size. Please note, the UK size will be written inside the footwear.
How do I order strap extensions?
Although our footwear straps are longer than average, if you have especially swollen feet or ankles, we supply matching strap extensions which lengthen the straps on most of our touch-fastening styles.
• To order women’s strap extensions please quote LX followed by the style name and colour.
• To order men’s strap extensions please quote MX followed by the style name and colour. All strap extensions are $9 per pair
How does your ‘hidden depth’ sole design work?
The sole unit on our ‘hidden depth’ footwear allows the foot to sit below the sole line. This means that the extra depth is ‘hidden’ within the shoe so it still looks neat and streamlined.

Do I need to take care if I have diabetes?
Yes. We are aware of the problems that people with diabetes may have and so we offer footwear and socks with minimal seaming. However, not all our products may be suitable for your feet, so you need to make your own judgement or ask a medical advisor. Please run your fingers inside any item before wearing, checking for anything that may harm. After buying new footwear, wear it for 30 minutes to 1 hour at first, then inspect your feet for pressure marks or irritation. A hand mirror is useful so you can examine your whole foot.
