The GLOBAL TALENT BEAUTY CUP is an international championship that sets the standard for excellence in the beauty industry With a world-class judging panel of highly respected experts, this competition showcases the very best in nail artistry and professional skill. The championship not only elevates the status and prestige of the nail artist profession, but also provides a unique platform for the growth and development of talented professionals. What truly sets this event apart is its cutting-edge categories, designed to reflect the latest trends and modern techniques in the beauty industry, ensuring that participants compete at the highest level of innovation and creativity
Submission Deadlines and Registration Information:
● By April 5 – Online registration and payment of participation fees must be completed This is also the final deadline for submitting competition works via email to: gtbcup@gmail.com
● By April 13 – On-site registration for the championship and payment of participation fees must be completed
● Awards Ceremony for Global Talent Beauty Cup – Chicago will take place on April 18th , 2026 at America’s Beauty Show, 5555 N River Rd, Rosemont, IL 60018.
After we receive your payment and competition works, your entry will be officially registered, and we will send you your participant number and confirmation by email.
Late submissions will not be accepted
PARTICIPANT CATEGORIES:
Competitors should register under one of the following: Student – for those currently enrolled in a nail program and/or competing for the first time
Professional – this division includes both Professional and Master competitors Final designation (Professional or Master) will be confirmed at check-in.
1. Division 1 – Students: Includes trainees and apprentices with up to 1 year of experience in the nail industry Participants who are competing for the first time in the championship and have never competed in any competition in their life.
2 Division 2 – Masters: Includes professionals with over 1 year of experience who have previously participated in the championship but have not won any titles. Participants who have won more than 5 medals in Division 1, automatically advance to Division 2.
3. Division 3 – Professionals: Includes participants who have won more than 5 medals in Division 2, instructors, school founders, brand representatives, and Grand Prix winners.
Masters whose qualifications fit a higher category but who register for a lower category will be disqualified, and their competition results will be reviewed.

AWARDS:
will receive a diploma, medal, and trophy (if the participant is not present at the award ceremony, shipping costs will be covered by the participant). Categories with divisions will have three prize winners per division.
In each division, a Winner of the Winner will be chosen and awarded the Grand Prix Cup
GRAND PRIX AWARD:
To qualify, contestants must participate in at least five categories, including:
● 1 manicure/gel polish application category,
● 1 nail sculpting category,
● 1 artistic/creative category,
● 1 submitted nail art category.
The Best Team title will be awarded to the team with the highest number of points for prize placements Teams may register with a minimum of three participants.
The Best Trainer title will be awarded to the trainer who effectively prepared the team and whose participants won the most prize places relative to all the categories they entered
The Global Talent Nail Cup Award will be awarded to a participant who competes in at least 7 online and offline categories, including mandatory categories such as gel polish application, any sculpting category, and a design category.
GENERAL RULES
1. The Global Talent Beauty Cup –Chicago is open to all professional nail technicians.
2. As an international competition, participants must respect all rules and competition standards. Any rules or practices not specified in the Global Talent Beauty Cup rules will be governed by universal and common-sense standards. The Global Talent Beauty Cup reserves the right to refuse entry to any competitor
Division Selection:
3. Competitors must specify the division they are entering when completing the application form. Once registered, divisions cannot be changed without permission from the head judge. Competitors must enter the highest division they qualify for
4. Due to the large number of international competitors, the Global Talent Beauty Cup is not responsible for verifying that each competitor enters the correct division.
Fees:
5 Competition fees are non-refundable and non-transferable

7 By participating in the championship, the participant voluntarily transfers the copyright of the submitted work to the organizing committee, granting the right to use it non-commercially and without additional approval from the artist who created the work. The organizers reserve the right to use all submitted photos, videos, and competition works for promotional purposes. These materials may be used at the organizers' discretion in connection with other championships, events, marketing campaigns, or promotional materials related to the competition All photos and videos sent by participants may be used without compensation to the participants or models
Models:
7. Competitors must use a live model and arrange the model themselves.
8. Competitors and models must be at least 18 years old for Divisions 1, 2, 3.
9 Competitors must have enough models for all the competitions they are participating in
10 Models' hands must be free from injuries or skin conditions (e g , herpes, warts) The nail plate must be clean and healthy Any cuts or injuries must be noted by "Nail Check" observers before the competition begins
11 Models showing signs of infectious skin diseases (e g , warts, fungal infections, scabies, herpes) are not allowed to participate
General Conduct:
12. Global Talent Beauty Cup is not responsible for competitors who do not adhere to or understand all of the rules
13. Smoking, drinking alcohol, or eating is not allowed on the competition floor.
14 All local health & safety rules must be followed
15 Mobile phones, tablets, or computers are only permitted for viewing the time and cannot be used for any other purpose on the competition floor by both the competitor and model during the competition
16 Communication with competitors during the competition is not allowed
17. Competitors may not enter the competition floor until it is officially opened for set-up. If a competitor is in a subsequent competition, they may leave their table set up but must clear the floor until the next set-up period
18. Competitors who do not understand English or the hosting country's language must provide their own translator
19. Only competitors and models are allowed on the competition floor. However, translators may enter when communication with the competitor is necessary
20. By submitting an application and making payment, all participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to the official rules of the championship. This includes regulations regarding behavior during the competition, appearance requirements for models, photo submission guidelines for online nominations, and the scoring and penalty system.

22. Submitting the application and payment constitutes full agreement to all terms and conditions and confirms voluntary participation in the event.
Nail Check:
23. Once "Nail Check" starts, competitors must not touch the model’s nails until the competition begins. Any contact with the model's nails after the briefing and before the start will result in a 5-point deduction from the final score
24. Models with tattoos on the lower arms or hands must have them covered by an official before judging.
25. Models may not wear any jewellery on their hands or wrists.
26 The Arena judge will check the model's nails to ensure no application has been done prior to the competition start.
27 Competitors may prepare the natural nail before the competition, but no application work is allowed until the competition officially begins
28 If the Arena judge determines that work has been done on the model's nails prior to the competition, the competitor will receive a 5-point deduction
29 Arena judges have the right to award point deductions to any competitor seen to be breaking the rules
During the Competition:
30. Competitors and models may not access their kits once the competition has started.
31. All products used during the competition must be clearly labeled (handwritten labels are acceptable).
32 Competitors must bring all necessary electrical supplies, including UV/LED lamps, extension cords, adapters, electric files, and table lights.
33 Each competitor will be provided with one electrical outlet
34 Competitors must supply their own products
35. The use of any devices or heat sources (e.g., lighters, hair straighteners, blow dryers) directly on the model during the application or curing process is prohibited
36. Competitors may bring a cart or similar for additional storage space, as competition tables may be small.
37 Competitors may organize their products in an open box placed on top of their suitcase
Finishing the Competition:
38. Once the time is up, competitors must stop working immediately and raise their hands. Models must stand and get in line for judging
39. Competitors are responsible for getting their models to the judging area and ensuring they understand that they must be judged by all judges before leaving the competition area
40. Models must remain in the judging area until fully judged.
41 Any model leaving the judging area before being completely judged will only be scored based on the points given by the judges who evaluated them before leaving.

Additional Rules:
45. If a competitor arrives late to the competition floor, they may begin their participation in the category. However, they must finish at the same time as all other participants, without any additional time granted.
46. Competitors are allowed to pre-size or cut forms or tips before the competition begins. Doubling forms and using metal supports is also allowed.
47 Designs outside the nail plate will not be judged
48 Avoid using religious or military symbols (depicting aggression, violence, or bloodshed) in artistic nail design categories
49 Signing or adding markings on or inside boxes for absentee design submissions is prohibited Only the organizer has the right to mark the design box with a sequential number
50 By registering for the championship, you agree to the participation rules and waive any claims against the organizers.
51 Once the judging process is completed and the results are announced, the works are not subject to re-evaluation, and judges' scores and placements cannot be reviewed or changed
52. The organizers reserve the right to decline a participant’s registration without providing an explanation.
53 By submitting the application, you consent to the processing of personal data and agree to the terms of participation and registration for the championship
54. Photos of the completed work must be presented on a black or white background (excluding presentation photos and InstaPoster categories).
PENALTY POINTS
1 Injuries to the Model:
o Penalty points will be given for any injuries caused to the model during the competition (e g , cuticle injuries, over-filing, or damage to natural nails)
o Penalty points will also be assigned for the presence of dust, oil, or cream left on the nails These penalties will be determined by the head judge.
2. Non-Compliance with Theme or Rules:
o Penalty points will be assigned for not adhering to the theme or specific rules of the category.
o The maximum penalty for such infractions is 10 points.
o A 5-point deduction will be given for any violation of the rules.
o For any rule that does not specify a point deduction, one warning will be given.
o The second infringement will result in a 5-point deduction.
o The third infringement will lead to disqualification from the competition.
3. Post-Time Violations:
o Competitors caught touching their model's hands after the time has been called will receive a 5-point deduction from their final score

Participants should perform a professional salon-quality manicure on one hand of a model using any technique. The model should have natural nails without any artificial enhancements.

The participant should sculpt competition-style French nails on one hand of a model using any professional technology and advanced materials. Any sculpting techniques are allowed. The nails should be created using bright white, camouflage, clear, or any pink materials without shimmer (no glitter or reflective particles).
To achieve a perfect natural-looking result, the participant may extend the nail bed using camouflage material.
