Music Therapy Groups at Cortica Westchester Cortica Westchester’s board-certified music therapists are now offering small group classes for children ages 1-18! These eight-week classes are offered throughout the year and open to current Cortica families as well as non-Cortica clients.
Therapy Group Activities Each group will include up to four children and include activities that are age-appropriate and tailored to group needs, such as listening to music, instrument play, song composition, and movement.
Course Objectives Our music therapy groups focus on helping children to improve self-esteem, social skills, and skills related to emotional expression, coping, and self-regulation.
