Golf Here’swhatwe’llbedoingtothe coursewhenit’sclosedJuly7-10
The golf course will be closed next week July 6-10 for aerification and maintenance. The driving range and practice area will remain open. The golf course will reopen for play Saturday, July 11.
Planned cultural practices for “maintenance week” are:
Greens aerification.
Greens verticutting.
Approach verticutting.
Approach aerification.
Approach topdressing.
Fairway verticutting.
Fertilize golf course wall to wall.
Landscaping of the circle outside of entrance by the pool.
Course Superintendent Matthew Anderson provided the following information on the next few pages from the USGA on aeration.
