The Preacher used an 8 iron from 110 yards on hole #4 Wednesday. Preacher moved ahead in holes in ones over witnesses Greg Forgione (14 holes in one) and way ahead of witness Joe DeGrande (8 holes in one). Tough group! Way to go Billy!

4-oz. unsalted butter

1 cup sugar

1 whole egg

1/2-tsp. vanilla extract

1-1/2-cupsallpurposeflour

3/4-tsp.bakingpowder

1/8-tsp.bakingsoda 1/4-tsp.koshersalt

In a mixer or mixing bowl combine butter and sugar. With paddle on high, cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Add whole egg and vanilla extract. Process until combined. Sift together remaining dry ingredients. Pour into dry mixture and mix until just combined. Allow dough to rest for 20 minutes. With a 1-oz. scoop, portion dough into balls. Line a sheet tray with parchment paper and line up dough balls at least 2-inches apart. In a preheated 350 F oven, bake cookies for 6 minutes. Rotate tray 180 degrees & bake for another 6 minutes. Remove cookies & allow them to cool. Enjoy!

Golf Course update

We received .65-inch of rain since last Sunday. It has really helped green up the entire golf course. Pump Station is completely installed and online. It’s operating wonderfully. We will begin a path light project behind the clubhouse this upcoming week. We heard a lot of positive feedback on the golf course conditions for the Burke Cup.
