RetirementandnewleadershipinTennis

After 23 years of outstanding service to our Club, Gerry Maingot will retire at the end of this year. He has been a teacher, mentor, and friend to countless members, and we are grateful for the legacy he leaves.

We are also pleased to share that he will remain part of our community as Tennis Pro Emeritus beginning in 2026.

We are also so proud and happy to announce that Zach Williams will become our new Director of Tennis Operations in January 2026. Zach’s energy, experience, and vision will build on the strong foundation Gerry created, and we look forward to the future of our tennis program under his leadership.

Please join us in celebrating Gerry for his many years of dedication and in congratulating Zach on this exciting new chapter.

Gerry holds award for UTSA Facility of the Year presented by Todd Carlson, USTA Director of Tennis Facilities (far right) Zach Williams, left and Ruben Lerma also represented the Club at the 2023 U.S. Open in New York..
