Each year, Milan Design Week transforms the city into a global stage for design, bringing together creatives, brands, and enthusiasts from around the world. From 21–26 April, Milan will once again come alive with a dynamic program of exhibitions, installations, showroom presentations, and events across the city.

At the centre of the week is Salone del Mobile. Milano, hosted at the Rho Fiera fairgrounds, alongside a vibrant calendar of citywide activations. Together, they create an unparalleled moment for discovery, collaboration, and creative exchange in one of the world’s leading design capitals.

The exhibition unfolds as a contemporary interpretation of a Wegner home, imagining how he might live and shape his surroundings in presentday Milan.

Fredericia: A Chronicle of Danish Design is exhibiting at Triennale Milano this April.

The exhibition traces more than a century of Danish design, exploring Fredericia’s legacy of human-centred craft and material integrity.

From the pioneering works of Børge Mogensen and Nanna Ditzel to contemporary voices like Cecilie Manz and Jasper Morrison, the exhibition brings together rarely seen vintage pieces, original artwork, and archival materials never shown before.

Nemo Lighting is pleased to invite you to the opening of the new Nemo showroom.

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, Nemo unveils a new project in the heart of Milan, created in collaboration with designer and artist Ron Gilad. Zanotta takes centre stage once again at Milan Design Week with a new collection of furniture and accessories. For the occasion, the fully refurbished flagship store provides an exceptional setting for the latest creations, developed in collaboration with renowned international designers and architects.

Alongside the new launches, the exhibition is completed by range extensions and a selection of works by Carlo Mollino.

Alcova

Alcova returns for its eleventh edition across two milanese sites: new spaces within the Baggio Military Hospital and the neverbefore-opened Villa Pestarini by Franco Albini.

Dropcity

Set within the once-abandoned tunnels behind Milan’s Central Station, Dropcity continues its collaboration with students from the ‘Material Futures’ Master’s course at London’s Central Saint Martins.

This year’s brief explores the needs, desires and challenges of the near future, bringing together disciplines spanning science, politics, engineering, fashion, architecture and design. The result is a series of forward-thinking innovations — from holographic surfaces to lab-grown gemstones created from paint waste.

Rosewood Milan

Set to open next year, Rosewood Milan is already making its mark with its 2026 debut Milan Design Week exhibition.

'Objects that Speak' features bamboo lamps by Andrea Branzi, some up to three metres tall, transforming the new hotel, situated in the historic Palazzo Branca and Palazzo della Banca Commerciale Italiana, into an atmospheric garden of light. Curated with Deyan Sudjic.

How to get there

Entrance gates

The Press pass grants direct access to the exhibitions through East Gate, South Gate, West Gate.

Non-pre-accredited journalists and photographers can register at the Press Desk in the Service Centre, entrance from South Gate.

The Press Office is located at the Service Centre, 1st floor (nearest entrance: South Gate).

A free shuttle service is available during the shows: the external shuttle bus stops at East, West and South Gates and the Salone Satellite entrance.
