A Message from the General Manager In the June Bear Facts newsletter, we were thrilled to share that Members will be welcomed to The Club in September with a refreshed and revitalized Big Red Tap & Grill! A longtime favorite spot for both Members and in-house guests, the Tap will feature several exciting updates, including enhancements to the bar area, new lighting and tables, and larger televisions. “The reimagined Tap & Grill will feature a polished, modern atmosphere, while still delivering the drinks, dining, and exceptional service you’ve come to expect. We’re just a few days away from temporarily suspending service in the Tap & Grill, with a scheduled reopening on Tuesday, September 2nd. Be sure to join us for “last call” the week of June 23rd, before we close for renovations after food and beverage service on Saturday, June 28th. While the Tap & Grill is closed, you can still enjoy the hospitality of our staff, summer cocktails, and the Tap & Grill menu in its summer home: the Cayuga Lounge. Located on the second floor just off the Cayuga dining room, the Lounge will feature a full bar setup, television, and cocktail-style seating. For those in the Metro NY area, be sure to join us on July 24th for our second Club Crawl! Event details are below, and the evening will feature a special ‘hard hat’ tour of our ongoing renovations.

I’m sure you’ll find this issue of the Summer Quarterly engaging, as we highlight exciting summer programs, dining events, and updates from all departments at The Club. We’re also looking ahead to fall, with several programs already in the works. Plus, we’re finalizing plans for a festive cocktail party to celebrate our 35th anniversary year—a Save the Date will be sent soon.
Each year, we mark the start of the new fiscal year with a thank-you for your support of The Club. You’ll find your certificate enclosed along with this issue of the Summer Quarterly. During the crawl, meet and get to know our staff who work in each area of The Club. This is the perfect opportunity to see areas of The Club you ordinarily don't visit, introduce your guests to The Club, and have some fun while doing it. Attendees will get an exclusive behind the scenes look at our Tap & Grill renovations.
