I earned my B.S. in Interior Design from Eastern Michigan University, where I combined studio learning with hands-on experience during my internship with the University of Michigan’s AEC team. Growing up in Ann Arbor, I’ve always been drawn to the way spaces influence how we feel, interact, and connect with our surroundings.
Interior design allows me to bring together creativity, function, and empathy to shape environments that truly support the people who use them. From academic renovations to workplace design, I’ve worked on a range of projects that have strengthened my ability to design with intention, flexibility, and attention to detail.
I’m passionate about creating interiors that make a lasting impact, and I’m excited to keep learning and evolving as a designer.

In the heart of Albany, New York, I designed a dynamic two-story, 13,000square-foot restaurant that seamlessly blends hospitality, functionality, and ambiance. Inspired by Albany’s rich character, the design reflects the city’s elegance while ensuring a welcoming andimmersivediningexperience.
Themainlevelfeaturesanopen-concept dining area that flows into a lively bar room, creating a warm yet refined atmosphere. A dedicated music dining area with a stage enhances the guest experience, offering a unique space for live performances. The centrally located kitchen ensures smooth operations and efficientservicethroughout.
Upstairs, a collection of private dining rooms caters to events and special occasions, each designed with a unique theme. A second kitchen on this level enhances service efficiency, allowing for seamlesseventcatering.
This project progressed through schematic design, programming, and contract development, with a particular emphasis on prioritizing guest flow, acoustics, and spatial versatility. The result is a refined yet vibrant restaurant experience that harmonizes functionality withastrongsenseofplace.

During my two years at the University of Michigan, I have had the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of interior design projects, from refreshing existing spaces to supporting large-scale renovations and new construction. My role has involved everything from conceptual design and space planning to material selection, vendor coordination, and reviewing bids. I have been an integral part of the design process by assisting with finish palettes, creating presentation packages, and working hands-on with programming efforts such as furniture layouts, lighting selection, and accessibility planning.
BSRBAtriumRendering
I have developed proficiency in industrystandard software, including AutoCAD SketchUp, and Photoshop, allowing me to translate design concepts into detailed plans and high-quality renderings Additionally, my experience managing materials libraries, coordinating with manufacturers, and staying up-to-date on product innovations has refined my ability to source and specify materials effectively.
