On February 19th an 20th, Copley Fine Art Auctions, the nation’s premier decoy and sporting art auction house, will offer their annual Winter Sale auction. The sale, consisting of 596 lots offered across two catalogs, will present the opportunity to take home world-class paintings, decoys, and bird carvings. The live auction will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday February 19th. Fine artists featured will include Frank W. Benson, Ogden M. Pleissner, Aiden L. Ripley, Frank W. Benson, A. F. Tait, and Ewoud de Groot, among many others. Carvers will include important decoy carvers include A. Elmer Crowell, Nathan Cobb, Obediah Verity, The Ward Brothers, Ira Hudson, the Mason Factory, Joseph W. Lincoln, Jim Schmiedlin, and Mark S. McNair among many others.
