The Ocean State Report is an annual publication of the Copernicus Marine Service that provides a comprehensiveand state-of-the-art report on the current state, natural variations, and ongoing changes in the global ocean and European
regional seas. It is meant to act as a reference European Union report for the scientific community, international and national bodies, and the general public. The Ocean State Report 5 offers a distilled look at the ocean particularly in the year 2019.
