Expanding Horizons
Senior Planner’s Growth and Commitment to Southern Oregon’s Seniors By: John Oliver THIS YEAR, Southern Oregon’s beloved Senior Planner is expanding its footprint to better serve the needs of seniors across Oregon. With an all-new website in the works and plans to extend our print editions into more regions of the state, we are excited to announce that we’ll eventually be covering the entire state — right up to Portland. This growth will allow us to reach even more readers and continue offering the same insightful, relevant content that makes Senior Planner a trusted resource for seniors in Southern Oregon. What makes Senior Planner unique is our commitment to discussing the issues that matter most to seniors, with a focus on life, living, and the challenges and opportunities that come with aging. In each issue, we provide practical tips and advice on navigating the ever-changing landscape of healthcare and government — both locally and nationally. Whether it’s understanding new Medicare policies, learning about local resources for aging adults, or discovering ways to improve quality of life in retirement, our content is always aimed at keeping seniors informed, engaged, and empowered. Owned by Grants Pass Media, LLC, the parent company of the Grants Pass Tribune, Senior Planner benefits from the same dedication to quality journalism that has
made the Tribune a trusted news source in the region. Our team works tirelessly to produce stories that aren’t just informative but also fun and uplifting. We believe that aging should be celebrated, and that seniors deserve content that is as enjoyable as it is useful. Our coverage includes not only hardhitting news but also heartwarming editorials and feature stories that bring smiles to our readers’ faces. Whether it’s highlighting a local senior’s incredible journey, spotlighting businesses that cater to seniors, or offering personal finance tips, our aim is to provide a diverse range of content that appeals to all aspects of life. We want every edition to enlighten and entertain, leaving readers feeling more informed and optimistic about the future. At Senior Planner, we also take great pride in our connection to veterans. As a disabled veteran-owned small business, we are deeply committed to supporting those who have served in the military. We recognize the unique needs and challenges that veterans face as they age, and we are always looking for ways to provide resources, stories, and support for this honorable group of individuals. We encourage veterans, and all our readers, to share their experiences with us. After all, Senior Planner is your publication, and we want to hear from you.
If you have a story to tell, a tip to share, or a question that needs answering, we are here to listen and support you. We also want to emphasize our commitment to community involvement. We encourage everyone — whether a longtime reader or a newcomer—to contribute to our publication. Write to us about your experiences, your questions, and your thoughts on aging. If you’re concerned about spelling, don’t worry — we’ll take care of the editing for you. Your voice is what matters most, and we want to help you share it. As we look forward to our expansion and the future of Senior Planner, we are excited about the opportunity to reach more seniors across Oregon and beyond. Our mission remains the same: to provide valuable, practical, and uplifting content that enhances the lives of seniors. We are proud to serve you and look forward to growing together in the years to come. Thank you for being part of the Senior Planner family — we couldn’t do it without you!
