Ohio Valley Regional Oil & Gas Expo Educates Attendees

T

he third annual Ohio Valley Regional Oil & Gas Expo was held in St. Clairsville, Ohio, at the James E. Carnes Center in Belmont County on April 30 and May 1. The business-tobusiness event, hosted by the Belmont County Commissioners and the Belmont County Port Authority, featured vendors exhibiting equipment, products and services in indoor tabletop displays and an outdoor equipment display area. The expo opened with a Network Night Reception on the evening of April 30 and followed with a series of educational conferences, sessions and talks. Speakers at the event included Rice Energy President Toby Rice; president of “O”Ring

CNG Fuel Systems, Bob Beatty; and director of the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Craig Butler. Event sponsors included Rice Energy, XTO Energy, Hartman & Hartman Constructors, Beaver Excavating Company, Reco, Shelly Materials and more. The Carnes Center also will serve as the location for the Ohio Valley Regional Oil & Gas Career Expo scheduled for June 20.
