"Every trophy tells a story worth celebrating."
June has been one of the busiest months of the year so far, but without a doubt, also one of the most beautiful for me. The Architecture Leaders Awards 2026—or as we fondly call it now, ALA—is always a highlight on our calendar, but this year felt different. It felt bigger, more heartfelt, and even more meaningful.
For days, we prepare every detail of the ballroom, making sure everything is exactly where it should be. Yet over the years, I've realised that no amount of décor or lighting can truly bring the room to life. That only happens when all of you walk through those doors. The moment our industry gathers under one roof, the ballroom transforms. It fills with energy, conversations, applause, laughter, cheers and an overwhelming sense of pride. This year, with close to 400 incredible professionals in attendance, it was nothing short of magical.
Standing there and watching winners walk onto the stage, seeing peers applaud one another, friendships reunite, and years of dedication finally receive the recognition they deserve is a feeling that never gets old. It's hard to explain unless you've experienced it. ALA isn't just about winning awards—it's about celebrating the people behind the projects, the ideas that shape our cities and the incredible community we've built together.
To every winner, finalist, partner, supporter and guest who joined us, thank you. You are the reason ALA continues to grow into one of the industry's most anticipated celebrations. Every handshake, every standing ovation, every cheer and every smiling face reminded us why we do what we do. Thank you for trusting us with your stories and for making this celebration more memorable year after year.
Beyond the celebrations, this edition is filled with inspiring reads—from thought-provoking opinion

pieces and insightful interviews to remarkable projects that showcase the innovation, creativity and craftsmanship defining our industry today.
Our Pick of the Month features RALPH PUCCI International's vibrant outdoor furniture collection, where sculptural artistry meets open-air living. Bold, colourful and beautifully crafted, the collection redefines outdoor spaces, proving that exceptional design knows no boundaries.
As always, thank you for reading, supporting, and growing with us.
Happy reading!

IFour years after its launch, Dubai-based interior architecture and strategic design agency Warû has evolved from an ambitious boutique startup into a growing regional practice, proving that sustainable growth is built on trust rather than speed.
Founded in June 2022 by Rasha AlTekreeti, Warû was established on the belief that design is a journey rather than a destination. Its name, derived from an ancient Akkadian word meaning "to guide, to lead and show the way," reflects both Al-Tekreeti's Iraqi heritage and the studio's philosophy of creating spaces that evolve alongside the people who inhabit them.
Today, the firm operates across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Lebanon, delivering projects for leading regional and international clients including Siemens Energy, Microsoft, Riyadh Bank, Wafi Gourmet, Linklaters, CBRE, and JLL, while earning multiple industry accolades.
Reflecting on the firm's journey, Rasha says: "I am immensely proud that our growth has been driven mainly by word of mouth. Clients approach us because someone they trust has recommended us. And in a relationship-driven industry, that is a major indicator that we are doing something right."
As the business has expanded, Rasha says one of the studio's biggest challenges has been finding people who share Warû's culture and values.
"When you are growing a boutique business, finding the right people is about more than technical ability. You need people who genuinely believe in what you are trying to create and who demonstrate true passion for their work," she adds.
Like many firms across the region, Warû has also navigated lengthy approval processes and delayed payments while adapting to an evolving market.
At the end of 2025, Rasha led a strategic review of the business, resulting in the creation of the Warû Playbook—a framework designed to improve internal processes, strengthen collaboration, and ensure greater consistency across every project.
"Like many businesses, we have had to navigate challenges over the last year. Taking the time to pause, reflect and recalibrate gave us greater clarity. Crucially, this helped us strengthen our foundations, enabling us to maintain momentum and continue supporting clients during the recent regional uncertainty," says Rasha.
Another lesson, she says, has been recognising the importance of choosing the right clients and partnerships.
She explains: "If something doesn't feel right at the beginning of a project, it rarely becomes easier later on. Learning when to say no has been just as important as knowing when to say yes. Business is a partnership. The most successful projects happen when there is trust and open dialogue. It is rare to have clients who are consistently available, collaborative, and willing to be challenged, but when they are, the design becomes far stronger. If a client is unwilling to engage in that process, it becomes difficult to move beyond surface-level solutions."

DR MOHAMED AL-MUSLEH, HEAD OF SCHOOL OF TEXTILES AND DESIGN AT HERIOT-WATT UNIVERSITY DUBAI, EXPLORES HOW DESIGN EDUCATION IS PREPARING YOUNG PEOPLE TO THRIVE IN A RAPIDLY EVOLVING CREATIVE ECONOMY.

Design is changing quickly. It is no longer defined only by visual outcomes, products, spaces, or campaigns. Increasingly, design is used to understand complex problems, shape services, improve systems, influence behaviour, and create better experiences. This shift has significant implications for design education. The future designer will need technical confidence, but also curiosity, adaptability, critical thinking, cultural awareness, and the ability to work across disciplines. They will need to understand people as well as technology, and creativity as well as context. Artificial intelligence, digital fabrication, immersive tools, sustainability, and changing patterns of work are already transforming creative practice. These developments are expanding what designers can do, but they are also raising important questions. How should emerging technologies be used responsibly? How can design
Mohamed Al-Musleh, Head of School of Textiles and Design at Heriot-Watt University Dubai
remain human-centred? How can creativity respond to environmental, social, and economic pressures?
Preparing students for this environment requires more than teaching software or asking them to complete a series of projects. It involves helping them develop judgement, confidence, and a clear understanding of their own creative process. Studio-based education plays an important role in this. It allows students to experiment, make mistakes, test ideas, receive critique, and refine their thinking. A successful studio is not simply a place where finished work is produced. It is a space where students learn how to observe, question, communicate, and make decisions. Across areas such as interior architecture, communication design, fashion branding, and design management, students are increasingly expected to work with open-ended challenges. These may involve incomplete information, competing priorities, and different stakeholder perspectives. The ability to navigate uncertainty is becoming as important as delivering a polished final outcome.
Industry also expects graduates to be able to explain their thinking. A strong idea must be supported by research, evidence, and clear communication. Designers need to demonstrate not only what they created, but why they made particular choices and how their work responds to people, place, culture, and purpose. This is especially relevant in the UAE, where the creative economy continues to develop alongside major investments in technology, sustainability, mobility, education, and urban transformation. Designers entering this environment need to be globally aware while remaining sensitive to local identity and context.
For young people considering a future in design, one of the main challenges is often understanding what design education actually involves. Many have creative ability, but may not yet recognise how that ability can translate into a discipline, a portfolio, or a career.
This is where bridging programmes can make an important contribution. A portfolio camp,
for example, should not be seen only as preparation for university applications. It can serve as an early bridge between informal creativity and structured design education. It gives young people the opportunity to explore how designers think, develop ideas, respond to briefs, and present their work. It also creates an opportunity for talent to be discovered early. Creative potential does not always appear through conventional academic measures. Some students may show strong visual thinking, curiosity, spatial awareness, storytelling ability, or confidence in making, even if they have not previously had access to formal design education. A well-structured portfolio camp can help identify these qualities and provide early encouragement. Once recognised, that talent can be nurtured through feedback, mentoring, exposure to different design fields, and a clearer understanding of future pathways. This is particularly important for students who may be interested in design but uncertain about where they fit.
The role of universities is therefore not limited to delivering degree programmes. Universities can also help build confidence before enrolment, widen understanding of creative careers, and support young people in making informed choices. At the School of Textiles and Design at Heriot-Watt University Dubai, this approach reflects a wider commitment to connecting education with industry, technology, and society. Students are encouraged to develop both creative independence and professional awareness through research, studio work, collaboration, and engagement with real-world contexts. Portfolio development remains central to this journey, but the strongest portfolios are not simply collections of polished outcomes. They reveal process, development, experimentation, and personal direction. They show how a student thinks, where they took risks, and how they responded to challenges.
The future of design will require graduates who are confident enough to work with change, responsible enough to consider impact, and curious enough to continue learning. It will also require institutions to identify and nurture creative ability earlier, before potential is overlooked. Designing for the future begins long before a graduate enters the workplace. It begins when young people are given the opportunity to explore their ideas, understand their strengths, and imagine themselves as designers. The portfolio camp can be one of those first steps, creating a bridge into formal design education and helping emerging talent find the confidence, direction, and support needed to grow.

Mohamed Moussa, Manager of Project Delivery at Masdar City, on what it took to deliver the UAE’s first Estidama 5 Pearl office building, and why he believes the real test for Gulf infrastructure only begins after the ribbon is cut.
What were the biggest technical hurdles in delivering the UAE’s first Estidama 5 Pearl office building?
The M19 A&B Office Buildings are the first commercial development in the UAE to achieve a 5 Pearl Estidama rating, the highest level of sustainable building certification in Abu Dhabi. Getting there required the entire asset to perform exceptionally, not just individual systems within it.
The challenge was balancing sustainability, operational efficiency, occupant wellbeing and commercial viability in a climate defined by high cooling loads, intense solar radiation and extreme heat. Envelope specifications, shading strategies
and MEP systems all had to be evaluated together. The result was 91.8 percent energy savings beyond international benchmark standards, a 63 percent reduction in cooling load and a 56 percent reduction in heat insulation gain.
“The project reinforced a lesson that continues to shape our work today,” Moussa says. “The most significant sustainability outcomes are determined long before construction begins.”
In practical terms, what does an Estidama 5 Pearl rating actually mean for how the building performs day to day?
Estidama is Abu Dhabi’s sustainability certification framework for buildings and communities. A 5 Pearl rating is the highest level achievable, awarded to developments that meet exceptional standards across energy efficiency, water conservation, environmental impact and occupant wellbeing.

For occupants, it means better air quality and thermal comfort. For owners and investors, that translates into lower operating costs, greater resilience and stronger long-term asset value.
The real measure is not the certification itself, but the performance it delivers year after year.
How has project delivery at Masdar City evolved to embed sustainability from the earliest design stages? Sustainability is no longer a standalone consideration; it is embedded within every stage of project delivery. At Masdar City, we integrate sustainability objectives from project inception through design, procurement, construction and operations, focusing on measurable performance outcomes rather than certification alone.
The biggest shift has been bringing tools such as digital modelling, lifecycle assessment, and performance analysis into the earliest design phases. This enables better decision-making and ensures assets deliver long-term environmental and operational value.
“M19 A&B demonstrates exactly that,” Moussa says. “The project did not achieve a 5 Pearl rating by applying sustainability measures late in the process. The performance outcomes were set at the design stage, and every subsequent decision was tested against them.”
How are Masdar City projects holding up against rising costs, supply chain pressures and tighter timelines?
The sector has faced significant pressure over recent years. JLL’s Global Office Fit-Out Costs Guide 2026 recorded cost increases of 2 to 6 percent across regions in the past year alone.
Our response has focused on earlier procurement planning, stronger supplier engagement, and wider use of digital project controls to maintain program visibility. We have also moved away from assessing projects on upfront capital cost alone. Lifecycle value assessment, which accounts for operational costs, maintenance and long-term asset performance, is now central to investment decisions.

“SUCCESS SHOULD NOT BE MEASURED SOLELY BY WHAT IS DELIVERED AT HANDOVER,” MOUSSA SAYS. “THE REAL TEST IS HOW ASSETS PERFORM FIVE, TEN AND TWENTY YEARS LATER.”
“Projects are assessed and specified on their longterm value,” Moussa says, “not just their initial capital cost.”
Where is the biggest gap between sustainability ambition and actual on-the-ground delivery in UAE infrastructure?
The UAE has established some of the world’s most ambitious sustainability targets. The Net Zero 2050 Strategy sets a clear national commitment to full decarbonization. The next challenge is ensuring operational performance consistently matches that ambition.
The industry has become increasingly proficient at designing sustainable infrastructure, but long-term performance monitoring, asset management and operational optimization remain areas where further progress can be made. Bridging that gap requires stronger data collection, smarter operational systems and greater collaboration between developers, operators and end users.
“Success should not be measured solely by what is delivered at handover,” Moussa says. “The real test is how assets perform five, ten and twenty years later.”
Masdar City exists at that intersection. By consistently translating sustainability ambition into measurable, on-the-ground performance, it has become a green print, a proven, tested framework that cities serious about climate resilience and human wellbeing can adapt and build from.
Which technologies being tested at Masdar City are closest to mainstream adoption across the wider industry?
Several technologies are approaching widespread adoption, particularly those that demonstrate clear commercial and operational benefits.
The UAE’s AI Strategy targets global leadership by 2031, with AI projected to contribute AED 335 billion to the economy. One of its core objectives is building the infrastructure to serve as a testing plat-
form for AI at scale. That ambition creates a direct energy challenge: how cities respond will determine whether digital transformation and climate commitments can be delivered together.
At Masdar City, that challenge is already being addressed. AI-enabled building management systems, advanced energy analytics, smart district infrastructure, predictive maintenance platforms and next-generation energy efficiency technologies are already delivering measurable value, reducing energy demand, improving thermal comfort and streamlining maintenance scheduling across live assets.
“These are the technologies closest to mainstream adoption,” Moussa says, “precisely because they demonstrate clear operational benefits alongside their sustainability credentials.”
How is the project delivery function adapting to the growing complexity of net-zero and smart infrastructure briefs?
The role of project delivery has expanded significantly. Historically, success was measured by delivering projects on time, within budget and to specification. Today, project teams are expected to deliver those outcomes while also addressing sustainability, digital integration, resilience, operational efficiency and future adaptability.
This requires broader multidisciplinary expertise and a more collaborative delivery model. Data specialists, sustainability experts, technology providers and operational stakeholders are now involved much earlier in the project lifecycle.
Abu Dhabi’s first Net-Zero Energy Mosque at Masdar City reflects what that integrated approach makes possible.
Powered entirely by the sun, passive design strategies and natural ventilation work together to eliminate energy demand at source, simultaneously achieving LEED Platinum, Estidama 4 Pearl and ILFI Net-Zero Energy certification.

At the midpoint of 2026, how would you read the overall health and momentum of UAE infrastructure development?
The UAE infrastructure sector remains exceptionally strong, driven by clear national priorities, sustained investment and a long-term vision for economic diversification. Abu Dhabi alone has committed AED 240 billion to infrastructure investment over the coming decade.
What is particularly encouraging is the shift from building at scale to building with purpose. Increasingly, success is being measured by resilience, sustainability and long-term value creation rather than volume alone. Lifecycle value and operational performance now inform investment decisions from the earliest stages of planning rather than entering the process later.
“That evolution positions the UAE as a global benchmark for the next generation of infrastructure,” Moussa says, “a standard that is visible in what is being delivered at Masdar City: recognized not only for the volume of infrastructure being built, but for the standard to which it is being built.”

FIFTH EDITION REUNITES THE WORLD'S LEADING GALLERIES AT THE GRAND PALAIS FOR A CELEBRATION OF FINE ART, ANTIQUES AND EXCEPTIONAL CRAFTSMANSHIP.
Fine Arts Paris (formerly FAB Paris) unveils the first details of its fifth edition, returning to the Grand Palais from 19 to 23 September 2026. Opening Paris’ most anticipated autumn cultural season, this edition—the first under the presidency of Xavier Eeckhout—brings together 100 internationally renowned dealers spanning fine art, furniture, antiquities, and jewellery, offering GCC collectors and cultural institutions a definitive destination this fall.
Charles Zana redefines timeless interiors, blending architecture, art, and design with signature Parisian elegance and sophistication.
Xavier Eeckhout, President of Fine Arts Paris says: “In today’s evolving art market landscape, fairs have become indispensable, enabling gallerists to strengthen their visibility, connect with new collectors, and benefit from the shared insights of their peers. We look forward to this new edition, which will further cement Fine Arts’ position as France’s flagship art and antiques fair and reaffirm Paris’s status as a major capital for art and culture.”
100 Internationally Renowned Galleries
For over three decades, Charles Zana has crafted exceptional interiors across Paris, London, New York, and Monaco, seamlessly blending architecture, art, and design. Renowned for his refined French aesthetic and timeless approach, he was honoured as a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 2019 for his outstanding contribution to the world of design.

For GCC collectors with a discerning eye for provenance and rarity, this edition brings together an unrivalled concentration of specialist expertise, from Islamic art and Old Masters to Impressionist and Post-War works. Illustrious Parisian galleries who have shaped the reputation of the fair will return, among them the revered 18th-century French furniture specialists Steinitz and Léage, Old Master authority Didier Aaron, Islamic art expert Kevorkian, and Japanese armour luminary Jean-Christophe Charbonnier.
FOR US, THE FOCUS WAS STAYING TRUE TO THE DNA: BOLD DESIGN, EXCEPTIONAL CUISINE, AND ELECTRIC ENERGY, WHILE WEAVING IN LOCAL NUANCE. WE WANTED TO SEDUCE THE SENSES, NOT SHOUT FOR ATTENTION.

They will be joined by equally prestigious international dealers, including modern and contemporary art galleries Landau Fine Art (Montreal), Rosenberg & Co. (New York), and Thomas Gibson Fine Art (London), alongside German Old Master print expert Rumbler (Frankfurt).
Newcomers include Bailly Gallery (Geneva/Paris), dedicated to Impressionist, Modern and PostWar art and design; antique-silver specialists d’Arschot & Cie (Brussels); and Larock-Granoff (Paris), founded in 1924 by pioneering dealer Katia Granoff, who was among the first to champion Monet’s Water Lilies and the work of Chagall—artists whose works have found passionate collectors across the GCC in recent decades.
Sculpture takes centre stage
This year, sculpture—an entry category for many collectors—will take centre stage with a large
group of dealers embodying the long and varied history of the discipline, from Antiquity to today. The Parisian gallery Chenel, which specialises in archaeological objects, will take part for the first time, alongside Brimo de Laroussilhe (Medieval and Renaissance sculpture), Trebosc & van Lelyveld (European Sculpture from the Renaissance to the early 20th century), Nicolas Bourriaud (19th and 20th century sculpture), Univers du Bronze (bronzes of the past two centuries), Schoeffel de Fabry (tribal arts) and Xavier Eeckhout, the new president of the fair whose eponymous gallery specialises in animal sculpture.
A new section championing new dealers and contemporary makers
Since its inception in 2022, the fair has been committed to supporting new and emerging dealers as well as contemporary makers and designers. This year, that commitment expands with the

introduction of a new section. New Horizons will welcome ten dealers who are just starting their activity or who have never exhibited at an international fair, as well as contemporary makers across fields as varied as jewellery, ceramics and textiles.
The Musée du Grand Siècle: A first glimpse into the museum’s collection
Building on its longstanding relationships with France’s most renowned
museums and private institutions, Fine Arts Paris will host a special exhibition drawn from the collection of the future Musée du Grand Siècle. Set to open in 2028 within the historic Domaine de Saint-Cloud, west of Paris, the institution will be the world’s first museum devoted entirely to the 17th century—an era of political power and artistic brilliance under Henri IV, Louis XIII and the Sun King Louis XIV, marking the height of French classicism.

The future museum will be anchored by the exceptional collection donated by the eminent art historian, member of the Académie Française, and former director of the Louvre, Pierre Rosenberg. Bringing together paintings, sculptures, furniture, and both precious and everyday objects, the 40-work display at Fine Arts Paris will showcase the exceptional creativity of 17th-century France, while also shedding light on the many facets of this transformative period in the nation’s history. The booth will be designed by the celebrated architect, interior designer and art collector François-Joseph Graf, renowned for his timeless interiors, blending oldworld elegance and sumptuous materials.
The Grand Palais, transformed by Charles Zana
Another leading figure in French decoration will bring his creative vision to this edition. Following last year’s colourful scenography by Constance Guisset, Charles Zana has been invited to imagine a décor for the fair, engaging with the monumentality of the Grand Palais while ensuring the artworks remain the focal point.
“For Fine Arts Paris 2026, I envisioned a series of three interconnected villages beneath the
glass roof of the Grand Palais, linked by long vistas, open squares, and elegant walkways. It is a journey that encourages visitors to take their time—to look, to pause, and even to retrace their steps. A place where discovery becomes part of the pleasure,” says Charles.
Known for interiors that reinterpret the French art de vivre through a contemporary lens, Zana has conceived a design that evokes “an ephemeral city, composed of three villages linked by pathways and punctuated by squares. The idea is to offer visitors an almost urban experience, where works are discovered along the way, as if wandering through a neighbourhood.”
Charles explains the philosophy behind the scenography: “I have always enjoyed bringing together objects, periods, and craftsmanship. An interior becomes truly compelling when a contemporary piece enters into dialogue with an antique piece of furniture, or when an unexpected work disrupts a more classical setting. It is often these encounters that create emotion. Fine Arts Paris is, above all, a story about objects.”
A new generation of Ensembliers
AXA, through the AXA Foundation for Human Progress, will present a special display in partnership with two of France’s most venerable institutions, both born during the Grand Siècle: the prestigious Mobilier National, guardian of France’s national furniture collections, and the Manufacture de Sèvres, custodian of the world’s most renowned ceramic tradition; both names that carry significant weight

among GCC collectors and institutions with a deep appreciation for the finest European decorative arts. Drawing on exquisite pieces from both institutions, the exhibition will be conceived by a new generation of ensembliers: the contemporary heirs to a centuries-old métier, capable of designing and producing every facet of an interior. Blending heritage, craftsmanship and innovation, the display reflects values that resonate strongly across the Gulf—where the preservation of cultural legacy and the nurturing of emerging creative talent have become cornerstones of national vision. AXA’s commitment to safeguarding cultural heritage, advancing museum conservation, and supporting cultural institutions mirrors the ambitions of the region’s own cultural renaissance.
Design Luminaries Pick Their Must-See
For GCC tastemakers and collectors who follow the work of Europe’s most celebrated designers, this is a rare opportunity to see through the eyes of the masters themselves. Renowned French decorators and designers, including Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Timothy Corrigan, Nathalie Crinière, Jacques Garcia, François-Joseph Graf, Constance Guisset, Jean-Michel Wilmotte and Charles Zana, will each select their personal favourites from among the works presented by the exhibitors. These highlighted pieces will be clearly marked throughout the fair, allowing visitors to easily identify their choices. Reflecting on the significance of designing beneath one of France’s most iconic landmarks, Charles says: “I conceived this scenography as a Parisian promenade— one shaped by elegant perspectives, lively squares, and continual discovery. Beneath the glass roof of the Grand Palais, these three villages create a landscape designed for wandering, meeting, and exploring: a simple, welcoming, and generous setting created to give centre stage to the works themselves.”

Three years after founding 2BK Interiors, BAYLASAN KANJ is championing a philosophy where emotion leads every design decision—creating homes, hospitality, healthcare and commercial spaces that prioritise how people feel as much as how they look.
When Baylasan Kanj founded 2BK Interiors three years ago, her ambition wasn't simply to establish another luxury interior design practice. Instead, she set out to create a studio where emotion— not aesthetics alone—drives every design decision.
Over the past three years, that philosophy has shaped a diverse portfolio spanning residential, hospitality, healthcare, wellness and commercial projects across the UAE and the wider region. While each sector demands its own technical expertise, Kanj believes the foundation of every project remains remarkably consistent.
"I have always believed a room has one real job, and it is not to impress you. It is to make you feel something the moment you

walk in. That belief is why I started 2BK Interiors three years ago. After years of designing other people's briefs, I wanted a studio that begins every project with one question, before any material or floor plan: how does the person who lives here want to feel?" says Kanj.
That people-first approach has become increasingly relevant as clients seek spaces that are both functional and emotionally meaningful. According to Kanj, today's clients expect interiors that go beyond visual appeal to support the way they live, work and experience their surroundings.
Whether designing a private residence, restaurant, clinic or wellness destination, 2BK Interiors begins each brief by understanding the emotional experience a space should create. The studio then translates that vision through thoughtful planning, carefully selected materials and understated detailing. Equally important is challenging conventional ideas of luxury. Rather than equating luxury with excess or formality, Kanj believes the most sophisticated interiors are those that feel welcoming and lived in.
"Luxury is often treated as something cool and untouchable, as though a space must choose between feeling expensive and feeling welcoming. I have never believed that. The most luxurious thing a room can be is welcoming. Warmth is part of the luxury, not the opposite of it," she says.
As 2BK Interiors continues to grow, the studio remains committed to designing spaces that balance beauty with purpose, proving that the most memorable interiors are those that leave a lasting emotional impression long after first glance.

Villa Margham showcases 2BK Interiors' belief that luxury lies in restraint. Completed in Dubai in 2023, the 2,000sqm. family residence features clean lines, honest materials, and a timeless palette, creating a warm, sophisticated home where comfort and belonging take precedence over spectacle.

Marina Penthouse, completed in 2022, reflects 2BK Interiors' commitment to creating calm, understated living environments. Overlooking Dubai's waterfront, the residence features a soft palette of whites and blues that allows the sea views to take centre stage, creating a tranquil home designed to evoke a sense of ease and relaxation from the moment one steps inside.

Healthcare projects present one of 2BK Interiors' most complex design challenges, where emotional wellbeing must coexist with rigorous technical requirements. Its fertility centre in Riyadh, currently under construction, has been designed to meet world-class medical standards while creating a calming environment for patients. This human-centred approach also defines the studio's healthcare projects across Dubai, where every space is carefully planned to support both patients and the medical professionals who care for them.
With Enwat Development's two residential towers in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), 2BK Interiors balanced elegant design with cost efficiency and long-term value. The studio focussed on light-filled layouts, durable materials, and thoughtful detailing within a controlled budget, demonstrating that well-designed homes at scale can enhance everyday living without compromising quality or practicality.

FitnGlam at Yas Mall, completed in 2025, reflects 2BK Interiors' approach to designing for wellbeing and confidence. Created as a women-only fitness destination with dedicated Reformer Pilates, yoga, spin, and Hyrox studios, the space features a calm, welcoming palette and thoughtfully planned interiors that prioritise comfort, privacy, and empowerment, creating an environment where women feel confident from the moment they arrive.

Platform Grande, completed in 2026 within Grande Signature Residences in Downtown Dubai, showcases 2BK Interiors' vision for luxury wellness spaces. Designed as a premium gym, the project combines high-end finishes, bespoke lighting, and carefully curated materials to create an environment where performance meets sophistication, proving that fitness spaces can be both elegant and highly functional.

RALPH PUCCI International brings its signature sculptural aesthetic outdoors with a collection that seamlessly blends art, craftsmanship and innovation. Crafted in the brand’s proprietary Plasterglass material, the furniture captures the refined appearance of plaster while offering the durability required for outdoor living. Each piece retains the studio's expressive, hand-finished quality, with textured surfaces that celebrate the maker’s touch. Highlights include Ilkka Suppanen’s Stereo Bloom collection, whose
trumpet-shaped forms create striking sculptural statements, now available in fresh seasonal colours. Patrick Naggar’s architectural designs, including the Amalfi, Ischia and Positano collections, combine clean lines with thoughtful functionality, featuring subtle details such as integrated water drainage to enhance performance without compromising elegance.
