Your Board of Trustees has had a very busy year. A lot has happened and I’m happy to report that we’re well on our way toward several strategic initiatives aimed at providing you with the very best Jewish experience possible.
From an educational perspective, Michelle Gross has proven to be a great fit for NCECE. I’m pleased to say we have officially named a Director of SLJ, announced this Wednesday, March 4. You can feel confident that your children/grandchildren will enjoy the very best educational experience in south Palm Beach County.

I’m very excited to provide a Rabbinic search update. We will be entering into a contract for a new Associate Rabbi sometime this week. The Rabbinic Search Committee, led by Robyn Rubinoff and Rachel Weiner, has worked tirelessly and reviewed resumes from over 10 extremely qualified candidates. Watch for the formal announcement sometime this week. We will also be making an offer to hire an Interim Senior Rabbi very shortly. The new Clergy members will join Rabbi Silvers and Cantor Muchnick in making our religious experience both insightful and meaningful. We’re also in negotiation to add a “Rabbi in Residence” to add to our spiritual and educational experience. Finally – formal search for a permanent Senior Rabbi will begin on July 1 . You’ve received information about “Listening Sessions” that are going on right now.The Rabbinic Search Committee needs your feedback – please try to attend a Listening Session and let us know your thoughts.
