BOT could vote to expunge old marijuana convictions Tribal members who have been convicted in Tribal Court for certain d r u g o f f e n s e s m a y h av e t h o s e convictions expunged with action expected in April from the Board of Trustees for the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. The action follows last months decision by the B OT to legalize possession and production of marijuana

Celebrating Week of the Young Child Children were the main focus of fun and games during Week of the Young Child on the Umatilla Indian Reservation. Design, feasibility studies underway for wellness center Community input to move from concept to development

Antone Minthorn was among tribal members looking over design options for a planned wellness center.

The Umatilla Indian Reservation, through the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) and Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center (YTHC), is working with LPA Design Studios to perform a feasibility study for a new wellness center to serve the community. LPA is an integrated design firm specializing in planning and designing community, wellness, and recreation facilities. They take a research-driven, inclusive approach

to developing facilities that reflect their communities. The study is in the beginning stages and will include a variety of opportunities for the community to provide input and guidance.
