The Voice of Concordian Chinese Singing Contest
Season 7 helped us to celebrate the Chinese New Year and the Lantern Festival 2023. The theme of the Voice Season 7 this year was “华灯会 A Festival of Lanterns''. Like so many other Chinese cultural elements, lanterns have a long history dating back to thousands of years ago, in the early Han Dynasty. Over the centuries, lanterns have become a staple Chinese item, particularly in times of celebration. Lanterns symbolize vitality, good luck, and hope. In the year 2023, we hope everyone will keep a lantern in their heart. A lantern that lightens up your day, gives you hope and courage, and brings you joy.
