Loy Krathong Festival 2022
School Update
Loy Krathong is the traditional Thai festival that falls on the night of the twelfth lunar month (usually in November). This year it was
held on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022. On Loy Krathong day we make krathongs by using natural materials and decorate them with colorful flowers, joss sticks and candles. We make wishes for happiness and release the krathongs into the river. On Concordian Loy Krathong Day our members wear the beautiful Thai traditional costumes to school to promote Thai culture and celebrate Loy Krathong together. Happy Loy Krathong Day! EY Loy Krathong We were very excited to celebrate the Loy Krathong Festival this year. The EY students really enjoyed decorating their own krathongs with different kinds of flowers. Everyone looked amazing in their Thai costumes. We really had a great time together and were so happy to be able to float the krathongs in the pool as we had all missed out on this moment over the past few years. The Loy Krathong backdrops were a famous area for all students, parents and faculty members to gather and take such lovely and beautiful photos. Kru Aim EY Thai Team Leader
