K3 & G4 Field Trip to Sea Life Bangkok
On Friday, May 15 , 2026, the K3 students were excited to take Grade 4 visited the magical underwater world of Sea Life th
a trip to Sea Life Bangkok located in Siam Paragon. The students had the opportunity to explore a variety of fascinating underwater habitats and observe many different sea creatures up close. One of the highlights that the students kept talking about was walking through the underwater tunnel, where sharks, rays, and colorful fish swam all around and seeing so many new animals that they had never seen before. The K3 students enjoyed observing different marine species, including seahorses, jellyfish, starfish, penguins and a variety of sharks. Many students eagerly shared interesting facts they learned throughout the day and tied their experiences back to their learning in the classroom. They had a fantastic time learning about and experiencing life under the sea. The visit to Sea Life Aquarium was not only educational but also a fun adventure that sparked curiosity and appreciation for the amazing world beneath the ocean’s surface. Ms. Sheena Kapples
Bangkok for their field trip.
It was an educational and inspirational experience that took us through shark tunnels where we met Susie, the 30 year old sting ray, who looked like a shark. We spotted a few black tip reef sharks and were amazed to learn that when their teeth fall out, they just rotate one forward from the back row. The penguins were a huge hit but most didn’t want to swim despite our encouragement, as they were waiting for their morning snack and knew we had no tasty treats for them. Jelly fish, pot- bellied sea horses, sea dragons and sword fish were just some of the amazing creatures that we observed and learned about from our knowledgeable guide. After a tasty lunch in Blu O, we finished up our field trip with a 4D movie, “The bear and the Squirrel” which was the highlight of the day for many students and a super connection with our current UOI on ecosystems. Grade 4 were models students the whole day, funny, interested and full of gratitude for their fun day out. Ms. Kathryn Kane
